It's Juneteenth yall. And I'm not letting this day go unmarked.

Black people fight for everybody. We stand in solidarity with women, lgbt people, poor people all over the world of every skin color and background. Every religion and nationality.

Today, stand with us. Be with us. Tell a black person you love them. Hug a black person (with consent). Ask that hot black girl out today. Make a black person smile. Black lives matter to everybody and you matter to us.

Stand with us on Juneteenth like we stand with you all year round, and I hope a happy Pride month continues for all of us

It’s shit being a superhero when you know that the multiverse exists. You spend all day saving people, you’re tired, you want to go to bed, and right before you fall asleep someone says “The High Evolutionary is going to turn everyone on earth into a werewolf!” and every bone in your body says “Fucking. Maybe we can be the werewolf dimension. The Universe Where Everyone Is A Werewolf. There are infinite dimensions where everyone isn’t a werewolf. It could be fine. It could be good even.”

And you fight the High Evolutionary and you win and your world isn’t the Werewolf Dimension. But the thought was there. God the thought was there

Depends on the ship! Earth made spaceships have been around for awhile, but it's only been recent that they've really started stepping up to the levels that other civilizations are on. That said, both the ones I'm talking about are made of mostly alien tech. Rook's is all alien tech, Kevin's... I don't actually know. Huh. I'll have to ask him one of these days! Probably all alien, he only likes the look of Earth cars and wants the best function out of anything he drives.

Hey we have those restaurants in my universe, too!

Aunt Vera made a whole bunch of stuff! There was vegetables in a jello mold, though, and I did not try that. But I did pile on my plate some ham, and deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, and a little bit of macaroni salad. I had a better time than I expected! Did you enjoy your time out with everyone?

That is unfortunate, though at least in some ways, things have become easier when you have been outed. At least you do not have to wear a costume that has very little peripheral vision.

What are the spaceships like? Are they also alien?

Easter Dinner involved going to a steakhouse and burger place with everyone. It is called a Texas Roadhouse, even though we are not in Texas.

My guardian was a little late to dinner. She went to the evening mass for the church. My sister said it was to gloat. My guardian whapped her in the shoulder. I guess the church god and my guardian did not get along.

What did you get to eat?

Oh yeah it's public knowledge. I got outed when I was a teenager. It has its ups and downs. One thing that was always super nice about it is the cops already know who I am so they just let me go into places I would have had to sneak around or break into before 😁 But sometimes I miss just being able to chill out and be some guy in the crowd when I'm not heroing.

Oh I've got a few aliens that are super fast so it only takes a couple minutes to get over there. And that's if we don't take either of the spaceships haha

What about you, what are your Easter dinner plans?

Is it difficult having a public identity for being a superhero? Or is Great Aunt Vera just in the know and no one public knows?

It is good to enjoy a holiday dinner with family and friends. Is it inconvenient for you to go across the country, or do your powers make it convenient?

Yeah, I'm actually headed to my Great Aunt Vera's house right now. I haven't seen her for awhile and she wanted to call everyone together. She said that since technology is advancing so fast and that I'm literally a superhero she won't take any excuse as to why I can't travel across the country for dinner 😅

Where I'm from, a lot of people get their families together for Easter dinner. Kind of like Thanksgiving! Maybe they did brunch so the people who are going home for dinner don't have to pick events. Either way, Happy Easter Chi!

I see. That makes sense. It is also cheaper to eat at home unless Mirielle has decided to cook with very expensive ingredients that day.
