Maa - From the first second of my life up until this very second as I write this, you've been my entire world, and you will continue to be for as long as I'm alive. Most importantly because you're kind, and you're convinced that your kindness will change the world (and yet, when someone pushes you beyond that kind layer, they're in for a world of trouble because you're also the silent killer type of person) Your love for everyone around you is so unconditional and untouchable, that they can't help but love you back in the same way. You say that those who love you are so possessive of you. Well, how else would you expect someone to be about the person most precious to them. (I'm sure your mother, sisters, and pretty much everyone else in your life agrees with me) Your relationship with Paa is so amazing because it's been one of constant growth - sometimes one step back, but always two steps forward, to bring you here, where you are now - a place where I will aspire to be with my (person or whatever, please don't expect romance-y future husband talk from me. Everyone always says that it's so important for a child to have a mother, and I completely agree. But, what everyone forgets is how important the father is. I once told my mum that she was my heart, and that dad was my brain. I don't think I've ever said anything as accurate about any relation I've had. My father is my brain. All my quirks, all my likes, my dislikes, my sensibilities and most of my opinions - they've all come from him. Without mum, I wouldn't be alive. Over the course of this year, I've learned so much more than I ever knew about the two of you. The only thing I can think to say here is that I'm so grateful to the powers that be, that I get to call you my parents. Your compassion, your strength, your goodness; this past year has been a testament to all of that and more.
