POSITIVE ATTITUDE TO PREVENT DEPRESSION FROM DEMOTIVATION.
Having a positive approach towards WORK/LIFE is very important. It is even more important to have it when you are going through a rough patch of life in any aspect. I know it's the most annoying topic when you are already demotivated and your friends, family, colleagues and everyone keeps telling you to engage yourself in your favorite activity or work, so that you can divert your mind. but does it actually work? Because once you stop that "favorite Job" for distraction… you will again go back to the same ZONE. I understand where you’re coming from!  I've been there a lot of times, fallen apart, battled it and found out a solution for myself, helping myself and now I thought of sharing it with you as well. This will be helpful might as well for you too.
So, firstly let’s understand about demotivation leading depression and causing our work and life balance. The cause can be anything like your career graph, your marriage, your promotion, kids, personality, Looks, body etc. This generally starts with comparison; it can be you yourself or anyone else. Now once you get into comparison with others and then finding out that you’re yet not there or somebody is doing better or they are better than you and you are un fit or not capable (because you have somehow inculcated it by overthinking about it). Now this acute depression gets worse when the situation plays in contrast and not in your favor. We start comparing ourselves day and night, only thinking about how others are better than us or they are god’s favorite, they’re perfect you have struggle for everything, you are not at the right place at the right time, or you are not as approachable as others etc.
Why do we stress so much about why is it happening to us than understanding WHY it is actually happening to us? Is it even worth my time? Am I even interested in it? Even if we are interested are we doing things, right? Can I leave it and move on so that I don’t regret missing out on other things in life?
You either work harder and achieve it or you make yourself believe that you are the best of what you are and nobody can replace yourself. Be the Kind of person who is approachable, open to connect, a person who is smart but selfless. You need to create positivity around when you feel negative about something and by chance you can’t get out of it. When I get depressed about anything these days, I start evaluating what’s gone wrong and how can I fix it? If at all I can, and if I can’t I will simply create positivity around myself by not talking negative, thinking on the brighter side, staying optimistic, staying away from anything which can cause me a bad addiction and remember everyone ‘The change has to and always starts from within” don’t think of changing the world before you are ready to change yourself and most importantly always try to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. This can help you a lot to understand other’s perspective and prepare you to have a good personality.
