DID YOU KNOW? Viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video, compared to only 10% when reading it. So it only makes sense to create a short, engaging video that explains your products and services to your consumer.
NEED HELP WITH THAT? Contact Lisa Lyttle and lets discuss a video for your business.

IT ALL STARTS WITH A FIRST IMPRESSION. MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR ONE CHANCE TO ATTRACT NEW ONLINE VIEWERS, USE VIDEO TO DO IT!
Business is just like dating.
Remember that time when you introduced yourself to that special someone? You both smiled at the prospect of learning more about each other. You started with dinner, dinner led to drinks and drinks led to an evening of sharing and laughter. I remember that like it was just yesterday. In fact, I did meet someone new yesterday, I met a new client.
The similarities between courting a new client and courting a new special someone are quite striking. The most important moment in both dating and business is THE FIRST IMPRESSION.
HOW TO MAKE A GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION
The big secret: You need to Prepare.
To make a good first impression in business you need to be prepared. You need to know what you are talking about and you need to be able to present yourself in a way that other people feel comfortable and open to listen.
STEP 1: DETERMINE WHO YOU WANT TO ATTRACT.
STEP 2: CREATE A LIST OF REASONS WHY YOU ARE THE BEST.
STEP 3: HAVE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION READY, JUST IN CASE.
You have completed the steps above and are sitting at your desk thinking, "Ok, now what?"
The final step is to put your plan into place in the form of a short video. By creating a video you can send your first impression to hundreds, perhaps thousands of prospective buyers. You can court hundreds of clients at a time, making sure that the quality and content of your first impression is also top notch.
Exactly how to make your best first impression?
Contact us and let's chat about your business and see how we can ensure that you make your best first impression.

Trade Shows: I’m sure you have stories of leaving a trade show booth feeling irritated and annoyed from a pushy salesperson all to realize it’s a product/service you will never use. Instead of wanting to buy, you’re left with a sour taste in your mouth and a cheap promotional item that will end up in the trash.
Video on the other hand is non-intrusive, cost-effective and memorable. It captures the attention of your viewer and lures them in so they ask questions. They are interested BEFORE they even speak with you. Video content can also be used on multiple social media platforms and events, bringing tremendous long-term value and ensuring you get your ROI. And when it comes to following up with all your trade show leads, simply resend them your video as a gentle, friendly reminder of your product/service. So forget about that pamphlet, pen or usb drive you were planning to giveaway...invest in a video.
Contact Lisa at The VIDEO Business today and let's discuss a video for your next trade show!

THE PURPOSE OF CONNECTING WITH OTHER PEOPLE ON LINKEDIN IS TO FURTHER YOUR OWN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND TO CREATE NEW BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS. COME IN, WE'RE CONNECTED. We all have a certain level of guardedness when approached by someone on LinkedIn to purchase their products or services in the same way we would when the guy selling encyclopedias would come knocking at your door. However, for each sales message there needs to be an evaluation process. 1.) Who is this person? 2.) Do I need this product or service? 3.) Is this person/profile real or fake? 4.) Can I trust this person? In todays LinkedIn family there are as many sellers as their are buyers so the community is ripe for business, and isn't that the point? At The VIDEO Business, we produce daily articles and videos focused on marketing and post them on LinkedIn. We hope to educate our potential client base so that they can make an educated decision as to whether or not to use our services in the future. It's a win-win for us, our prospective client base learns more about video marketing and at the same time hopefully recognizes that The VIDEO Business are the video production experts that we are. LinkedIn relationships must be built upon trust and credibility. Contact Us and let's chat about your business. Trade Show Madness

Maximize Your Trade Show Bucks
IT IS COMPLETE MADNESS TO INVEST TIME AND MONEY INTO A TRADE SHOW WITHOUT CREATING A STRATEGY FIRST.
— — It’s that time of year again. With the ever increasing list of shows and events to attend it has become clear that the majority of businesses don’t get their moneys worth from their trade show investments.
MAKE A PLAN before you sign up for your next event and you will reap the magical rewards of strategic trade show marketing.
How many times have you attended a show or expo and come home thinking it was a waste of time and effort?
BEFORE Months before the show you should already be compiling a list of people and companies that you want to visit your booth. These people are the reason to attend the show in the first place. They are your current customers, your leads and your prospects and you want to meet them face to face and discuss business. If you are lucky maybe you get the chance for a quick dinner with them.
The best way to reach your “BEFORE” list is with a video that reminds them of your business and it’s key benefits. Let them watch the video on their own time when they are most receptive to learning more about you, not when you are face to face with them under florescent lights on the trade show floor.
DURING When at the show, if you are participating in the expo, you must have a video at your booth. When you and the rest of your team are busy your video will attract more people and keep them occupied for the 30 seconds it takes for you to wrap up your current conversation. It’s not rocket science but the art of managing your conversations on the show floor can be tricky. Let a video help you out.
AFTER When you are home and rested now is the time to send out a thank you email to all of the visitors that registered at your booth. Your email should include the same video that they watched on the trade show floor. It will quickly remind them of who you are, what you do and why they should give you a call.
TRADE-”SHOW ME THE MONEY”
Maximizing the results of your trade show dollars doesn’t need to be complex or time consuming. Putting in a little bit of effort before the show will ensure that everyone around the meeting table, after the show, will be more than happy to attend the show again next year.

Create #buzz at your trade show booth by using video. Don't fall into a trap thinking you can only utilize your video at your show. A video can be used BEFORE, DURING & AFTER your show!
1.) BEFORE: Send it out to your potential customers several weeks prior to your show to get them interested and familiar with your products/services. Plaster it all over social media using your event's official hashtag.
2.) DURING: Playing your video at your booth will educate and lure customers in to want to learn more about your product/service.
3.) AFTER: Add your video to your email signature and send a follow-up email to everyone that has visited your both. It's a great way to send a friendly, gentle reminder of what you have to offer.
