I'm lurking about here. I swear I haven't abandoned this account I just... I look at a reply, have the muse of a reply, but start to write and nothing spills out.

I almost had a drabble to post but the same thing happened and it left me disappointed.

My illness has been worse lately so I suspect that might be a factor in my ability to write.

I'll try to be around more often. I promise I'm not dead.

General PSA because I've been talking to a lot of people who just don't have energy right now.

Listen. This is your reminder.

It's okay if you take days, or weeks, or even months to answer something.

It's okay if you simply do not have motivation to answer something and delete it.

It's okay if you want to pause everything and start from scratch if that's what will help you.

This is a hobby, not a job. There will be no rush to answer things. There is no rush to have your blog fully set up. There is no need to make your blog what you think people want to see. Your blog is your safe area. Your blog is your space to create things. Will you like everything you create? No. But, someone out there will, and you'll never get better without practice.

Need to go MIA for personal reasons? Do it.

Need to stay ooc for a bit while your brain rewires itself? Go for it.

Write your muses how you feel they fit. Write the muses that make you happy. Write what makes you happy and write with who you enjoy.

Don't burn yourself out with pressure of what your blog is or isn't. Don't burn yourself out with your muse not being good enough or what people will think of your portrayal. There is a block button. There is an unfollow button. They can use those if they don't like it on your blog.

Please. Each one of you is important. Please take care of yourself, and take time to yourself. Stay hydrated, eat (even if just a snack like a handful of crackers or something), and please treat yourself as a priority.

Warning: not happy cat stuff and self-doubt

So my cat got diagnosed with urinary crystals yesterday and has to go on a special diet. We found some dry food for him but wet food, which he needs, is insanely expensive over here. I've gotten some advice like using low-sodium chicken broth and getting a cat fountain to encourage him to drink more water but I feel so nervous that I'm not doing enough because I can't afford the wet food. I'm disabled from my illness so I can't exactly go out and get a job and I'm in the process of getting disability which could take years to do.

I feel powerless. My dad is having a fit for having to buy a $25 fountain for him and the price of the dry food. I'm so terrified he's going to make me surrender him to the shelter.

"I don't have dying planned for today." The Visionary glanced over her shoulder back at the other ginger. Her dress flowed behind her as she paced the room looking for a way out. They needed one fast. Her blue eyes fell upon a window in the upper corner of the room they were stuck in. "Think we could climb through that?" She asked, nodding to it. "I can give you a leg up then follow behind."

She wanted to get home in one piece and the Doctor was no where to be seen (she hoped that wherever he was he was in one piece as well).
