Austin Graves is a freelance bounty hunter from the southern United States. Afflicted with vampirism by an unknown assailant, he searches the country in hopes of finding them and enacting revenge. In the meantime, he acts as a bounty hunter to sate his newly found hunger. He tries his best to not feed from innocents. Despite his notoriety for man-hunting, he does not wish to harm anyone who he feels does not deserve it. He hopes to someday find his sire and put an end to their life. After that, he is unsure.

Austin’s sense of hearing, sight, and smell are incredibly strong. He can see perfectly in the dark. He can track humans just by scent alone.

Supernatural Strength

Due to his vampirism, Austin is incredibly strong and fast.He can even evade bullets at times with his speed. He can lift a fully grown man with ease and toss him even farther.

Sunlight

Austin cannot be exposed to sunlight for long. Just a small exposure to it could lead him to burst into flames. He also cannot see very well in the daylight if he were to traverse it, which he can if he does not have any exposed skin. He simply wears ample clothing to go out in the daytime if he must.

Invitation

Austin cannot enter owned homes without an invitation. The invitation can be either verbal or written. If written, he may always enter unless the writing is altered or destroyed. A verbal invitation endures until it is verbally revoked.

Austin is horrified and disgusted at what he is. In truth, he doesn’t think himself any better than the outlaws he hunts. Really he sees himself as even worse, as he is an unnatural monster that can only sustain itself on the blood of others.

He despises how animalistic he behaves when his instincts overcome him. He often apologizes to his victims before he feeds. Even if someone is a horrible person themselves, he wouldn’t wish that kind of death upon anyone if he had a choice.
