Continuing through some routes in the hundred line and it is so interesting for me to see an Uchikoshi Protagonist in a very Kodaka setting and narrative with characters that mostly have that best Danganronpa-esque character development arcs in hope with them. Like, it is very VERY interesting to have what I call the dumbasshole uchikoshi archetype (see: Junpei, Sigma, Date) take the lead in a role that would suit the likes of Makoto, Hajime, and Shuichi better in rallying the people in their kindhearted leadership.

but takumi is different. takumi, at the end of the day, however kind he may be, is incredibly and inherently selfish. Which makes things oh so more interesting

Started playing Sifu! The environment is absolutely beautiful and detailed for a fighting game that makes you roam around like goddamn! However, as a gamer of mostly non-combo fighting games, it is incredibly annoying to pieces!

Ok one more theatre post. You can now watch the proshot of the donmar warehouse next to normal revival on PBS through the end of June. Thought provoking, Pulitzer winning etc etc definitely worth the watch even if you’re a casual musical theatre enjoyer

oki look as someone that basically grew up with szin animatics and also basically grew up with her own work, szin's announcement of a formal goodbye is both heartbreaking and heartwarming in a sense. like honoring the heart in the art kind of way, but also in the realization that all things come to an end especially as we grow - but at least it was a good end still

and if I said that the mad ones UK Sam realising she was in love with Kelly this whole time upon breaking up with Adam after Run Away With Me is even more allegorical to her realising that the future Adam could provide for her, though with the same "freedom" and cadence Kelly boasts of as well, is something she knew too well as a statistician's daughter and Does Not want, with clearcut destinations and plans all laid out on maps per Run Away With Me, with the same detailed obsession her mom instilled within her, and with the key being thrown to him rather than Sam having the keys to herself - all of which detail the safe cisheteronormativeness of it all, whereas the queer realization and acceptance of her love for the ever-so-carefree Kelly is accepting what she has to do and accomplish to achieve the unknown and unbound freedom she wishes on her own terms especially amid Kelly's absence, then what-
