I am so sorry! Yes, there will be an update!!! I am about halfway through, but to be honest I am having the life version of McLaren's first half of the season. Meaning: utter garbage. So been dealing with that which has basically been taking up more and more of my bandwidth till I had nothing left to give. But I am trying to get back to it and hopefully have another chapter done some time this month!

700 words into the next chapter of fast pace, which is great! Writing sick Lando is more fun than it probably should be. Hoping to get the next chapter out by next week.

Had a random new idea though which is now running around in my mind... which is less great and more derailing since it doesn't fit into fast pace. Feels like writing a one shot was opening a can worms I thought I was avoiding 😂

Working my way into writing more jealousy etc. Trying to push myself out of my comfort zone of everything being nice but awkward and into some actual drama. The joys of being a new writer.

And yes, you are correct! Barcelona is up next. Those radio messages with Lando still break my heart.

So, remember how I said I was really tempted to write about Charles watching Lando with various drivers, ending in them with Pierre... here it is. Several renditions later, because I am NOT writing another fic that is more than once chapter long till Fast Pace is over. But I also could not get rid of the idea.

Here is my performing an exorcism of this idea by writing it.

We are up! Chapter 23... how did i get to 23 chapters of what was not supposed to be 23 chapters? I have no idea. But, I am embracing it.

And I am 2400 words in... turns out i could really do with planning my chapters out... at all... ah well. 600 words to go on Miami and the time afterwards. Then it will be sick Lando time.

Also, Mclaren is not helping me be enthusiastic. And I am worried Piastri will beat Lando... nothing is great.

I am back! Its been... not great over here. Between having the plague in the house, needing to find a new place to live and other chaos, its been hard. But I am hopefully back. 600 words into the next chapter of fast pace. I always aim for 3000+ for each chapter, so ways to go. But I am working on it!

Today I realised I made a mistake starting the one-shot... its so tempting to extend it way more than what I am doing right now. This charlando fic is going to be waaaay longer than planned if I don't get myself under control.

But I need to get it under control because I want to get fast pace written as well. There is not enough time during this holiday. I

I love writing fast pace but all I want to write this holiday is a charlando open relationship one-shot where Charles watches protectively over Lando as they sleep around. With Pierre eventually joining them of course. Because I can't let Pando go fully.

Also, Miami is coming up in fast pace. So the "oops" from Pierre's radio when he took Lando out is just randomly spooking around in my head 😂
