katie was counting on brennen lee mulligan’s rage being what got her pitch views, but she was clearly not considering the sheer potential that rested within aabria iyengar’s unprecedented ability to run a one-woman guerilla marketing campaign

If I had a nickel for everytime Aabria Iyengar played a blue-coded, jaded romantic with a doomed love story who hid her sweetness behind a tough shell I’d have two nickels but it’s weird that it happened twice

Also that Nat 20 History was 100% Suvi’s most important roll that Aabria teased was coming up

rereading deep end by ali hazelwood and scarlet should have sent that draft to pen
i fucking at that bitch so much jesus christ you do NOT own your ex boyfriend and he is allowed to move on
and scarlet for SURE views her with rose colored glasses because there were so many instances of pen being a huge bitch to her and she’s like oh maybe she’s right and then it goes into a scene where her therapist or lukas is like no she’s not right and then nothing happens other than her being like oh well she’s allowed to treat me like shit she’s my best friend and she’s perfect

Here with another book review, this time for “Deep End” by Ali Hazelwood.
I really liked the book. The quality of the characters were really good I understood why they made the actions they did and how they got there. I enjoyed the plot especially because I am a swimmer and a fan of diving. The amount of smut was good and balanced well with the rest of the story. A small ⚠️spoiler warning⚠️ the epilogue was a nice surprise cause it wasn’t just marriage and a baby it showed them working on med school and job and being engaged which is a nice change to some of the more predictable ones I’ve read. I also listened to the audiobook while reading which I definitely can say enhanced the experience. I can give this book a 4/5 and would definitely recommend it.

Guys I'm crashing out I can't stop thinking about and obsessing over Deep End. I want to flash a hundred years into the future and dive into ao3 fanfics about Scarlett. I want to write a dissertation on the Aliverse. I want a movie of the book so I can watch edits on tiktok. I want to take Ali to dinner and beg her for a POV from Lukas (seriously I'll beg for just a CHAPTER. I want to see how disgustingly down bad he is from inside his brain.) I want to reread the book again and then reread all of her books just for fun.
I fear I'll never find this high again. Send help (and book recs)

God, I think the best part about Ep 51 is how Steel’s dedication to unraveling and remaking reality itself is ultimately borne of love. She wants to leave the world better than she found it. She wants to create a better life for her children. She is meddling with forces beyond her comprehension and control for the sole purpose of ensuring the safety and happiness of those she cares for, of her people, of her way of life. Her unimaginable and horrifying hubris is stained with her love and fear for Suvi’s wellbeing, for her husband’s, for her children’s. She lives in a world of chaos where godlike beings wield unimaginable power, and she thinks the solution is to control said power and ensure it remains in the right hands. Her hubris is the same hubris of every parent who thinks they know what’s best for their child and relinquishes the freedom and choice of personhood to protect and uplift them. She will bend reality to her will and do it all without regret because that’s what she can do to save her daughter. The terrible things we do for love indeed.

lou being like is it ecaf? irt efshess killed me thanks for that callback
turns out if you banish a shattered and then mended sentient mirror to a (literal) pocket dimension inside a jacket of useful things, they become a glass wizard creature thing
this is how we quangle fantasy high/d20 and wbn

Interesting comment from Steel in episode 1. I've truly been wondering and debating about what happened with Soft and Stone and Steel's part in it.
I am starting to believe that there's some sort of magic involved in what Steel remembers about this moment. Because I don't think that all three of them were on the same page.
