well it's about time I start drawing boingo stuff again!! I have ideas that have been sitting in my head for years. workshopping this groovy man who Knows Whats On Your Mind...

Jonathan as an avatar for fears other than the Beholding is such an interesting concept. Like, yes, what would this man be like if he had become an avatar of the desolation. Or, if instead of giving him away to the Beholding the Web kept him and he became one of its avatars. Like, yes, I want to see what he’d be like if he knew Simon Fairchild and became an avatar of the vast. What if he caught Peter Lukas’s attention in season 4 and became an avatar of the Lonely. What if nobody saved him from the Stranger and he became one of its avatars. Imagine the angst that could come from that. Specifically, angst with Tim. Like, he not only failed to save Danny from the Stranger, but also Jon. This could be romantic or platonic JonTim, but no matter what it’s sad af. Imagine, Tim and the others thinking that the Archivist is dead because Elias assigned a new Archivist without any explanation. Then, they to stop the Unknowing and who do they see? None other than THE Jonathan Sims. Now, thats hella angsty for everyone, but especially Tim because he’s already lost one person he cares about to that damn circus. And, despite all of his anger and denial, he still cares about that man. He still cares because, despite everything, it’s still Jon. It’s still the man who he was once friends with (and maybe in love with if it’s romantic). Tim could probably handle it if he had died to anything else. Not well, but could still deal with it. But no. It had to be the circus. No matter how hard he tried that circus would always take what mattered most to him. Sorry, this turned into a JonTim Stranger Jon AU. Honestly though, I have no regrets. Seriously though, I am in love with other avatar AU Jonathan Sims so much. Give me more of them please 🥺
