All in all it wasn’t too bad being down with my family for my sister’s wedding, my immediate family felt so much better to be around, and my mom even made a joke about me being trans which was hilarious (the exact same joke I made like two minutes before when talking to someone else). Didn’t love seeing my moms extended family (they are nice but they’re also all like, republican trump supporters because they’re from rural Louisiana and have never expanded out of there) but nothing I could do about that so it’s fine. Also seeing my sister’s ceremony made me start thinking about wanting to start actually thinking about and working towards my own ceremony so…maybe that’ll happen soon (ish). Anyways, it was fun and it feels so good to finally have a good relationship with everyone in my family again!

I feel like it’s still really thin, but it does seem like it has a bit more texture to it as opposed to being very fine like it used to be! It’s so interesting because I had heard other people say that but when it started happening I was like oh that’s so weird lol

So an update for anyone who saw my earlier post about my Medicaid appeal for my top surgery:

Medicaid denied the appeal as well and the reason this time was that they just don’t cover that surgery. So. That’s great. I am working with the hospital to try to figure out other options, but the most likely one I will have to take is just paying for it out of pocket. Which obviously will probably be very expensive. So. Yeah. Anyways. Will try to update again when I know anything more.

I’m so frustrated and annoyed at that post about larian and bg3 and stuff because of all the people in the notes acting like bg3 was larian’s first ever game and their big break and shit like divinity original sin 2 didn’t win a million awards the year it came out and isn’t the very clear framework for what bg3 is and like they haven’t been making their own (hugely popular) IPs this whole time. Please if you liked the game so much look into the company for two seconds before you start making shit up. Play more than one video game I’m begging you
