Does anyone else associate people/things with "a taste of colors" or or is it like just me

Like

When you taste something disgusting you think of dark olive green/yellow

Or when you have a nostalgic memory it reminds you of bright and warm colors or something?? Like you just zone out and see a vivid shade of yellow right in front of you??

With that being said, 2016 makes me think of bright pink and yellow, while recent years make me think of dulled/grayed colors
