This was certainly the nicest home Manos had ever been inside of since he landed in Hell. Although the term “home” didn’t feel quite right when describing this mansion. Home made you think of some place cozy and inviting. But so far, with the posh, upper class servants and from what he had heard about the Lady of the house, there was nothing inviting about this place.

With his scratched and weathered pick up truck in front of the mansion, and his casual wool lined jacket wrapped around him, he felt terribly out of place as he waited in the parlor. The ram toyed with an empty glass, seeing small blue gems engraved around the rim. It was probably more expensive than anything he owed. Maybe even his entire apartment.

Hopefully, despite the long time he spent waiting for Stella or a servant or anyone to come talk to him, this job would prove to be a lucrative one. So Manos tried to bare the boredom just a little while longer, eyeing up the expensive looking decor and furniture around the room.
