(How to actually lose weight based off of scientific studies.)
Rule 1: Eat something for breakfast!
It is proven that eating first thing in the morning boosts your metabolism and not eating until later afternoon slowers it. If you want to have less cravings throughout the day spend most of your calories in the morning.
Rule 2: don’t eat until 3 hours after your initial meal.
Your stomach can take up to 3 hour for you to properly digest your food so eating before then could potentially interrupt the digestion process leading you to slower your metabolism and cause you to bloat.
Rule 3: please don’t drink Diet Fizzy drinks!
There’s been mixed reviews about diet soda and if the aspartame causes cancer or not. But whether it does or doesn’t, soda can be super acidic to the body causing you to hold on to fat and to stay bloated. Always drink water and if you desperately are in need of a soda try a soda that’s made from fruit juice and has no added sugar (like IZZE) or get a soda with cane sugar only in it (no corn syrup or diet sugars!) these drink contain calories, but your body will thank you later.
Rule 4: drink water!
This shouldn’t be a rule but I feel like people neglect this. You should be drinking a minimum to around 6-8 cups depending on your weight ratio. You can google yours with just one click!
Rule 5: spend your calories with fruits and veggies, not junk food. Think about it, is your body going to be full off of just one slice of pizza for 340 calories, or is it going to stay full for 3 salads for 340 calories? Your body doesn’t need a lot of calories to get full, it’s all about fiber and protein!
I hope this helps! You don’t need to starve yourself to get thin. You just need the right foods to stay full and healthy! Thanks for reading if you got this far!
