i ordered two dog skulls in the mail and my bf is still relatively new to vulture culture

and like he was trying to ID the species and was pointing out pathologies and following the same ID’ing pattern i do without me even having told him in the past and it made me feel so warm being able to share this community to someone brand new to the concept. then on top of that, having them learn the same way you did when you first started— it just feels really good!

ISO!! i’ve been wanting to add a bigger articulated skeleton to my collection, as i only have three small (legal) birds. i saw a cool one of a raccoon, and cats, and some other mammals. if anyone knows where i can get one/will sell one to me, let me know! preferably something bigger, from a squirrel to something like a cat or small dog.

ohohoho i found a Very Big Boy today!!

grey s.eal skull!! with one half of his lower jaw. im absolutely over the moon to have him in my collection!!! hes so so big, last pic is a comparison with my common s.eal skull. i now have both of irelands s.eal species!

think ill call him poseidon! my common s.eal is amphitrite. i dont name all of my skulls but s.eals are special to me!
