Topo’s Shed
“in madrid, spanish architect pía mendaro has designed a home/studio for her friend, artist clara cebrian. named ‘topo’s shed’, the space is a converted warehouse that measures 10 meters by 10 meters (33 x 33ft). ‘clara is an artist and does not like overly designed things,’ explains mendaro. ‘she wanted something ‘like ron weasley’s house’; something that could adapt to the needs that appear over time.’ consequently, the project was designed to be as flexible as possible — serving as a ‘basis for life to happen’.
the focal point of the interior is the elevated bed, which mendaro designed alongside manuel ocaña. capable of supporting up to five people, the lightweight, suspended platform is accessed via a separate structure — a movable device reminiscent of airplane step ladders. as well as freeing up valuable floor space for cebrian’s work, the raised sleeping accommodation also provides external views and access to an outdoor space — an element of the design that the architect believes is necessary for mental health.”

I had just came from a binge-listening marathon for Ang Walang Kwentang Podcast. I fell in love with the first episode because of the topic PLUS I think I laughed with them on the mag-mamais story ni Gege🤣
Not to mention I'm learning so much and that's why siguro I'm getting relief din because the channel really speaks to me on so many levels.
Yesterday I watched a documentary called Catfish (2010). It made me feel things nung na-mention ni direk tonette (wow close😂) the real meaning behind the term "catfish".
Then right now I'm listening to the Wear sunscreen spoken word poetry ni Baz Lurhmann. I would highly recommend to my fellow 20 somethings these kinds of content dahil at these times talaga these contents might save us all.
Mention ko lang din na, they are aware and conscious about being politically correct which is a great example lalo na at this day and age of cancel cultures and self-awareness with other people's feelings.
So ayon, I really hope this podcast keeps on producing relevant content throughout.
