Netanyahu bombed Iran and killed that exact negotiator on Friday.

There is heaps of footage of Netanyahu claiming Iraq had WMD/nukes, he was a lead proponent of the war on Iraq.

History is fucking repeating and it is MADDENING. I was at protests against the Iraqi invasion in 2002/2003. We all knew there were no nukes. US and Israel wanted regime change in Iraq anyway so they could install puppets and that's exactly what they're doing in Iran.

People will study this period in history and go, "WHY DID NO ONE STOP NETANYAHU AND ISRAEL IN GAZA, IRAN AND THE WIDER MIDDLE EAST? WHY DID THE MEDIA NOT COMMENT ON THE FACT ISRAEL HAS NUKES AND HASN'T SIGNED A TREATY BUT IS CLAIMING TO BE UPSET ABOUT A FICTIONAL SITUATION WHERE OTHER COUNTRIES ARE APPARENTLY DOING THE SAME?"

last post on this topic: just to be even clearer about these protests, it's genuinely not that i expect 80 year old gray hairs to throw bricks at the police. and i think it's tremendously encouraging that they show up when they do.

my problem is specifically that the organizers of any major protest should generally be the people most willing to get arrested or face punitive risks. however, in many cases - especially in cities with populations above a specific number, especially 200k+ - there is a fundamental misalignment in the goals and sense of urgency of the people organizing these protests and the people who are afraid for their lives and the lives of their friends and family who show up with the intention of challenging the authorities. these communities are also sometimes more likely to be diverse and unequally impacted by the current administration's cruelty.

you shouldn't be in the business of leading people into a battle that you're not willing to fight along side them. that's organizing 101. if you want to hold a rally in the park, do that. if you want to hold a candle light vigil on a street corner, advertise for that. but too often, people show up to these things 3 hours in expecting that the momentum is going to be strong and they wind up walking into a violent police response because the permit expired 15 minutes ago and the people who called you to action have disappeared entirely.

most people understand that protest means disruption. so to call your parade a protest risks people showing up prepared to put their bodies on the line and then being outnumbered, decentralized and brutalized. this is how people wind up resenting the entire movement altogether. when this happens, it feels like you've been grifted into taking an ass kicking for people who don't have your back.

Okay so y’all know how much I love Bayonetta, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that making her sword was on my prop bucket list! Shuraba is my favourite weapon in the first game (followed by Odette), and it’s also freaking huge. It’s about four and a half feet long, and I’m obsessed.

The blade is made from wood, with foam elements and a pvc handle. My favourite part is the detailing on the handle; it didn’t look like much when I was making it but once I got the decorative pieces onto it? Everything came together so quickly!

It took me seven real life years but I finally committed and finished making Faith Seed’s variant D2 “Sin Eater” from Far Cry 5. It’s one of the most beautiful weapons I’ve seen in a modern setting game, and I knew I wanted it from the first time I saw it (rip Faith I’m sorry I had to do you like that). The whole thing is foam and foam clay, and I created custom moulds for all the Peggie insignias on it. It was definitely worth the wait.
