Your post on Tony Stark as ace and "so sex-positive" -- could you consider clarifying if you mean sex positive Luke, identifies heavily with the sex positive political movement or sex positive feminism... Or if you just mean "sex-favorable" instead.

I 100% meant sex positive. But that doesn't mean Tony is not also sex-favorable.

I have about four people I will voluntarily come into physical contact with, and I always, always do best when I am the one initiating that contact. This is so important.

Please be aware of the personal space of others. Whether it is trauma-caused or not, assuming someone is alright with casual touch and then being wrong isn’t really worth the risk, is it? Asking someone before you touch them, or announcing your intentions can make a big difference, especially with a new acquaintance. 

Asexuality and Touch Aversion

So, I wanted to make a few posts for Ace Awareness Week (and maybe a few later on) in which to verbalize my personal experiences and bring light to topics not always discussed. One of the things that make my asexuality a struggle is something not usually considered by the people around me. (This is a pretty long post, so I put in a page break.)

So, I’ve done Tony Stark in the past, but that’s a big one for me. I love Ace Tony. I love him.

Ace Tony who thinks sexual attraction is just a tool of the media, and doesn’t think real people experience it, not like that

Ace Tony who started sleeping around because it was expected of him, then continued doing it to bait his father with ridiculous tabloid-exploding affairs and because it was pleasurable to him.

Ace Tony who is very sex positive.

Ace Tony who is so in love with certain individuals over the course of his life, he thinks that need to be with them must be sexual desire.

Ace Tony who finally had to be sat down by an Ace group at Pride, because ‘wait, what?’

Ace Tony who is found about two hours later covered in Asexual pride gear.

Ace Tony who saunters onto a talk show three hours after that to discuss Asexual Visibility.
