is there anything more bitter than letting go of friends that you thought were your ride or die? coming to terms with the fact that you’re walking down different paths and you’ll be dismembered if you don’t let go of their hand. being true to yourself and your self-worth is something we’re never warned about. no one ever tells you that you’ll spend weeks pondering where it went wrong, what you did wrong, until you come to the somber realization that your time together on this earth just might be over.

“If you inherently long for something, become it first. If you want gardens, become the gardener. If you want love, embody love. If you want mental stimulation, change the conversation. If you want peace, exude calmness. If you want to fill your world with artists, begin to paint. If you want to be valued, respect your own time. If you want to live ecstatically, find the ecstasy within yourself. This is how to draw it in, day by day, inch by inch.”

Change can be promoted through a partly-functional replacement which shows promise of fulfilling the shortcomings of the now.

Perfection is a dynamic state that reflects the internal model built by sensory impressions accumulated over time. And since projection takes time, perfection can never be achieved - only measured.

There's nothing magical about us being alive - in fact, on the contrary, we are dead.
Our self has evolved from experienced sensory awareness which is a result of millions of years of evolution over cells that emerged from chemistry formed out of physical dead matter called atoms.

Nuances of the Unconscious
A very interesting phenomenon happened this morning. I had instructed my mother to wake me up at 9AM. When she did, I had one of my usual foresight that went like, Her saying, “Muniya”, “Ni”, “Nine!”. In reality, she had only spoken "Nine!” - it’s her usual way of waking me up. Also, an interesting point to note is at “Nine!”, I was sitting up on the bed - as if I had predicted the clock and her wake up call. Now, this isn’t something entirely new to me. I have always had hunches - especially when I am asleep. On countless occasions, I have caught people staring at me by waking up immediately and staring right back in the direction they were standing. On handful occasions, I have had hunches about things about to happen that happen only moments after it happened in my dream. For example, this one time the driver hit a man crossing the road - in my dreams it was the same driver, the same road, hitting a saint. (No one was hurt, the car was slow enough.) I have considered this a special phenomenon that I enjoy - until today’s incident happened. I once had a discussion about the unconscious mind with a person I consider close to a mentor which went like this: HIM: I suspect that the unconscious is a stack. Meaning, a line. But this article implies that it is a series of instantaneous simulations. A network, rather. ME: I haven't given much thought to this. If I had to guess, it would be a sort of bucket holding all dormant accumulated patterns that constantly collide. Somewhere something collides as necessary and the thought is born. HIM: Right. The unconscious processes vastly more information than consciousness does. ME: Which is unimaginable. Given that we can sometimes overload from the consciousness alone. HIM: Consciousness is nothing more than a means to dither attention--which then prompts the unconscious. To which I agree. It was exactly the italicized content that I observed today. “Muniya”, “Ni”, “Nine!” Muniya - my father is lovingly called by this name. Ni - Introverted Intuition (something that has fascinated me as a subject.) Nine - The desired end goal. The reality. While there can be multiple sets of interpretations that can be read into here, one thing stands peculiarly apart all of them. The repetition of characters ‘ni’ in that order and always together. This is something that completely supports the bucket theory. Only here, the pattern is more literal than conceptual. If we were to follow this line of thought, and claim that the unconscious is similar to conscious reasoning/imagination but happens in broken down symbols rather than fully developed tangible concepts it explains three things:
1. Why dreams tend to shift stages with no coherent sense. 1A: Because patterns may collide out of nowhere making no real-world sense but it made common associations in the primal forms they exist out of experiences.
2. Why sometimes you mutter certain sounds aiming for a specific word but end up sounding completely like another word which shares a similar structure in some sense (either syntactical or semantical). 2A: Because you were mostly trying to channel the unconscious without prior formation or thought.
3. Why dreams tend to be less rule-governed than reality. 3A: Because the concepts are less well perceived. Perhaps more? Deserves attention.

You truly have to be an outcast to know the problem, to derive the necessary and to channel the solution.

I'm here to live, learn and lead the brightest tools that become of you in order to make our world the best it can be. The hard times only require foresight, the good times only require presence. And time alone only requires my dedication. Let's make the world in me happen.

You may call holding onto one passion, one idea, one goal, dream and wish to be narrow-minded dependence only when the idea of keeping-your-options-open & being-free come not from your indecisiveness but from choice - in which case, you are chasing one idea anyway.
A thing I'd like to say.

I used to love reading fiction - the fantasy worlds, the rush of situations, the plots and the characters! But I realized, fiction is appealing only until you find that one thing you want to manifest in the world. The one thing you so desire may itself be a work of your own fiction. Regardless, we shall create. Because we can.

We're always too busy chasing the things we want - often forgetting those we already have. Stop for a moment and be grateful for what you have - you may lose it at some point and you don't want the regret of never truly appreciating it.
Fortuitous Gratitude?
