To the genderfucky queers, to queer folks of color, to Indigenous queers, to young queers, to disabled queers, to the kinksters, to the nonhumans, to plural folks, to sexqueer folks, to the paraphiles, to the transIDers, and to everyone else,

You are loved and you are not alone.

As much as things seem to be falling apart, and as much as everything kind of sucks right now, there are folks out there who love and care for you. I'm one of them. We will survive.

Reminder that you don't have to call yourself AMAB or AFAB. You don't have to say "I'm AFAB nonbinary." Saying "I'm nonbinary" is enough. You don't need to identify with what you were assigned as by some doctor however many years ago. Mentioning your ASAB is scarcely relevant to most conversations, even those about medical transitioning.

Nonbinary is enough, you don't have to supplement it with a binary system of any kind. It doesn't matter how many people want to know your "transition direction." It doesn't matter how many people want to know what your genitals are (which wouldn't be alluded to by your assigned sex anyway). It doesn't matter how many people what to binarise you. It doesn't matter how many binary people you confuse. No one needs to binarise you. Nonbinary. Is. Enough.

i keep seeing (especially on tiktok) other queer people bashing the "xe/it/frog polyamorous dyed-hair named arson" and it just feels like a setback.

the main point of this arguement is a more widely "accepted" queer person saying "well, at least im not like THOSE queer people," and as one of "those" queer people it makes me sad

this is why im scared to share my neopronouns. this is why im constantly misgendered. because if i say xe/it/void then suddenly im cringy and will grow out of it.

am i supposed to apologise for not understanding the human concept of gender? for wanting to not be uncomfortable when people refer to me?

this is exorsexism.
