HELLO!! so I'll make this short - I'll like be waiting for around a month after the game releases before I turn back on anonymous asks, tho this will be with a caveat to any asks with a spoiler need either a spoiler warning or the name of the route mentioned. this COULD change, this is my current plans for it so yeah 👍👍👍

Rain code wasn’t even that bad, people just felt burned by danganronpa v3 and expected Kodaka to “redeem himself”.

I do find shinigami extremely obnoxious but like, Annoying Little Freak is a Kodaka staple at this point. The game is fine.

Considering turning off asks entirely just so people + mod can avoid spoilers. I’ll leave them on for now but basically, don’t mention spoilers in confessions for the time being and I’ll let the game release marinate for a while before anon asks come back on, likely won’t be for a while tho

the game isn’t even out yet but i maybe starting to ship Shouma x Takemaru, after seeing the cg where Takemaru helps Shouma train (i’m guessing to help build his confidence or something like that), i can’t help but think they’re cute together.

I remember in the very beginning oh THL announcement someone drew/mentioned Kako x Maki as “Maki’s girlfriend from the academy” (they also drew it I can’t find the pic sadly :( ) and now especially after the demo released i’m thinking “Hey this person might actually be cooking)

in nozomi's case, i think she's more of an assistant than the mastermind herself? i feel like she has something to do with this whole issue, but she's not the main culprit.

I can’t help but find it really strange how in the offical website synopsis, it states Takumi also has “Childhood friends” implying he has more than one but the only friend mentioned and seen is Karua. Does he have more than one? (I don’t think it’s a translation error either as when I used google translate it said the same thing.) Maybe when the full game is out I can testify this a bit more but I just find this really odd.

I've seen a lot of hate for Rain Code posted here and while I haven't played the game myself I have watched a playthrough of it and I think it was pretty good. I hope that The Hundred Line, Last Defense Academy, whatever you want to call it does well enough so that we can get sequels to both. It's fine to like one game over the other, but you don't have to hate the other game to prop it up. Hell you don't even have to like Rain Code but shitting on it and its characters isn't cool. Especially when people have expressed that they enjoyed the game.

hi!! little announcement, I'll be turning anon asks off, mainly because at the moment there's so little content of the game itself that the asks are slowly kinda devolving into just like. fighting and/or arguing with eachother and it probably isn't a good idea for it to stay like that until the game comes out, and I'll also be keeping anon off for a bit after the game comes out mainly just to avoid anyone deciding to send asks that include spoilers.

now, this only really goes for THIS blog as well, do what you want otherwise, like if you're gonna send anon asks to someone only do that if they're OK with it and also listen to their boundaries. AGAIN, THIS ONLY APPLIES TO MY BLOG, IF OTHERS ARE OKAY WITH IT, THEN FEEL FREE TO SEND OTHER PEOPLE ANON ASKS. but yeah you guys need to chill out

It's really disappointing that many people won't play this game because of Ima for example. I think we should be used to Kodaka and Uchikoshi's favorite tropes by now. YOU CAN IGNORE THEM, this whole game is not about incest! The game isn't out yet, even this might have more depth than other examples of the trope in other media. Considering that Kako is uncomfortable (NOT HATE) with brother's behavior. I'm not saying you can't dislike the game because of that, but rather that you don't have the media literacy and some critical thinking.
