Korra, pointing to her earrings: oh, Asami got me these. It’s so sweet, she just saw them in a store and thought of me!

Mako, eyes bulging out of his head: you can’t even get those earrings in stores yet!

Korra, very confused: what do you mean?

Mako: Korra, I don’t know how to tell you this, but those earrings are crazy expensive. Plus I saw them in a catalog and the release date isn’t for another four months. Asami must’ve used her Sato influence to get them for you in advance

Korra, laughing: oh c’mon Mako, that’s a lot of trouble just to get a friend some jewelry. I’m sure you’re exaggerating
