To me it's never really been all that confusing as to why there are less f/f fics than m/m fics:

-Majority of people in fandom are women

-Majority of women are straight

-2 men would be more appealing to (most) straight women than 2 women

I know that on Tumblr (the Queer Website TM) it might seem like all fandom people are queer, but straight women have a huge presence in fandom communities, and especially in fandoms with m/m ships.

AU where Loki is down bad for Fandral, but Fandral isn't into him AT ALL (bonus if he's straight or very in denial) Post-TDW, Loki reveals himself to Fandral and begs him to be his consort.

Fandral refuses, and threatens to tell everyone it's him, and not Odin, on the throne. Loki responds by tossing him in prison.

Over the days, Loki visits him and ends up forcing himself on him. Each time, he'd offer Fandral freedom if he would just agree to be his. Fandral would always refuse.

Eventually, Fandral gets pregnant. He agrees to Loki's terms; the prospect of struggling through a pregnancy in a prison cell enough to break him.

Loki brings him to his chambers and ravishes him on the bed, saying that Fandral will be the perfect consort.

I saw some folks nervous about contacting authors on ao3 vs other platforms to ask them about creating art, bound books, podfic, etc. inspired by an authors work. Got me thinking.

One thing I will say is enjoying an author and wanting to talk to them isn't parasocial, it's social! We're in the fandom together!
