I know that you said that you don't talk about your fanfics on your blog, however, I wanted to know if you planned on continuing "Odd man out" or not. I really liked the story and thought it was well written so I got curious.

I'm fine talking about my fanfics on my fandom blogs, just not on my art blog – I'd like to keep that for my art, so I don't completely clog it up, lmao.

That said; 2024 has been a very disastrous idea creative-wise for me. Ever since I started working part-time, I got incredibly exhausted just thinking about wanting to make art or write. Even on my off-days. The desire to Make is still there, but the physical motivation was severely lacking. I'm hoping 2025 will shape up to be different.

That said; I won't make any promises. I still love the story and the media itself, but my hyperfixation on it has left me. I know myself, my interests like to switch, and make me neglect all the other stuff I'd been working on/planning.

Which reminds me of another point; I know, you all mean well, and you like my story, but please; enough asking me if I'm continuing/still writing my fics. The amount of comments I still get of that nature are draining. And honestly, they make me feel petty enough to just nuke the entire fic, just so those questions stop. I know people are waiting, hell, the chapter WIPs are sitting ducks in my files, trust me, I know. But those borderline guilt-trippy comments don't help one bit, and I'm honestly tired. Is it sad that multi-chapter fics don't update? Yeah. Are those authors obligated to keep at it? Hell no. Sometimes it ain't even about the lack of time, motivation, inspiration, or having to attend to Real Life – sometimes we just lose interest or the love we held for it. And that should be okay. We aren't paid to write – we do this out of own free will and free time. People gotta start respecting that.

hi, yeah i may be pretty dead and playing severe catch up, but i really hope none of you condone this anon's behaviour. obviously i don't expect anyone to have any control of People On The Interwebz, but i hope this gets at least addressed, because this is just horrible for something that's supposed to be some lighthearted poll game. like, this isn't even just general harassment – this was specifically demographic targeted.

BEGINNING || PREVIOUS || NEXT (SOON) MASTER POST

It is done! I feel both like I spent far too much time on this update yet not nearly enough. Some poses are a bit stiff but hopefully the battle itself still reads. I know not much progress was made plot wise, but trust me, there’s a few things in here that are going to become very important much later on in the story.

Leo’s Ninpo: The keen reader might recognize that a number of Leo’s attacks are ones he picked up from Gram Gram, but with a bit of that added portal flair. I really wanted to push the boundaries of where he takes his skills, but stay true to the belief that rather than becoming a heavy hitting powerhouse like his brothers, his strength lies in his ability to calculate and react on the fly. I also wanted to give some level of limitation to each of their gifts. For Leo, it’s less the number of portals he creates that exhaust him, but rather the size and amount of energy that passes through these portals and his ability to keep them stable during the transaction. He has also become much better at keeping his portals well protected (so that portal pirates can not interfere or rather, so that the pirates aren’t killed by stray laser beams rushing through). As far as the Portal Choppers, we’ll be coming back to those and how they work later on in the story…

Any OMO headcanons you wanna share about OMO?/nf

UHHHH most of these are just for fun and like. do take them with a grain of salt ajhjbhdbh im just gonna throw some thoughts about my peepaw and his perspective of the multiverse out there

you know it would be incredibly funny to me if OMO!Leonardo was the oldest of all Leo Peepaws ahbjbshhjd like. the consensus is that they're mostly in their early or mid forties, so what if Leonardo was like. a year or so older than most

as much as its funny that he acts quippy and obnoxious with most peepaws, i think it lowkey kind of stems from his own self-loathing and trying to set himself apart from them

but his questionable mental health aside; he does actually get along with most and makes a point to be friendly with all the Little Leos

i can imagine that all the peepaws are that "thank god im the only normal one here" meme, and while Leonardo definitely knows that he is very far from normal, he also doesnt fucking trust the rest of them to be, so he's the one to order all the food at the counter of a burger joint jahbsbhbdjh

mostly also bc he keeps doing it for the kids all the time and has gotten so used to it, he doesn't think twice that his current company are all full grown men

he does genuinely feel a companionship with MNMC!Leon despite their constant bickering but they do have frequent disagreements when it comes to their respective Little Leos

i think while most people are aware of his skills, they tend to underestimate Leonardo a bit, mostly bc he does such a good job at appearing as a funny, obnoxious guy

why do you think MNMC!Leon calls him a Smiley Bastard JHDVJHFHV

he does do turtle sounds and is quite good at getting others to react to it

he, also, does still use a sword

Talking about OMO begin ✨short king✨, there's always the saying " What do you feed them?! " when you see a tall person.

My question is; What do you feed your peepaw to KEEP him short?! 😂

im just SAYING there is no NEED for the peepaws to be OVER 7FT+ TALL IM STEALING YOUR HEIGHT MOTHERFUCKERS–

i dont feed my peepaw, he feeds himself but he's bad at it JHBSDJBHFBJFB also. genes. sure his are enhanced to hell and back like the rest of his brothers, but environment did factor in on their growth so uhhhhh growing up in an active war zone is NOT recommended.

i dont really have any particular reason why he's quote unquote shorter than most peepaws (aside from it being just really funny) but i guess with my above statement, you can play around with the idea!! i for one headcanon that his weird card-reader nipples are actually growth spurt scars of his body trying to adapt to the harsh environment and stress, which kind of negatively impacted his body a little.
