Sometimes I feel like I’m just externally observing my thoughts and behaviors holding a clip board and twirling a pencil.
“Oh another strange or interesting behavioral pattern? Write that down write that down.”
It’s not an audit or a negative critique, it’s more like a detective gathering clues.
Like for instance I just realized today, the less sleep I get, the more my overall diction improves.

You say "Pop off, slay queen", I say "Tally-ho wot wot". We are not the same (I am Basil Stag Hare).

“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,”
2 Corinthians 10:5
Don’t believe the father of lies, believe the one who is the source of all truth and knowledge.
LORD Jesus, I rebuke cancel and destroy every assignment and attack of the enemy and cancel every curse or negative word ever spoken over my life in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

a strange dream
I had a dream to about a weird pink serial killing alien monster blob who puts his victims through mind games and kills them if they lose.
Upon meeting said blob, I made the argument that the only way to kill me on the most satisfying way is by making me absolutely terrified of death. For this to happen the blob will need to convince me that there is no God and that I’m not going to heaven after this. Then, if that very likely ends up depressing me (because Jesus is literally the core of my identity) the blob would somehow make me into a non suicidal atheist because death, again, would only be giving me what I want.
This seriously stumped the blob and it decided to gelatinously leave and go think through the argument I gave. When I woke up I realized just how smart my dream self was. Usually I have the reasoning abilities of a child in my dreams.
In short, I convinced a pink serial killer alien blob that my death would not be satisfying unless they dismantled my faith and then gave me therapy afterwards.

Just like the gospel. Death, suffering, and pain won’t have the final word.

This is very Jordan Peterson (or JP is very this guy).
The best moments in our lives, are not the passive, receptive, relaxing times—although such experiences can also be enjoyable, if we have worked hard to attain them. The best moments usually occur when a person’s body or mind is stretched to its limits in a voluntary effort to accomplish something difficult and worthwhile.
Optimal experience is thus something that we make happen. For a child, it could be placing with trembling fingers the last block on a tower she has built, higher than any she has built so far; for a swimmer, it could be trying to beat his own record; for a violinist, mastering an intricate musical passage. For each person there are thousands of opportunities, challenges to expand ourselves.

Anyone else walk into the store with a rough list of what you need both written down and/or in your head, then immediately get totally over stimulated that they forget why you’re there. You then wander and talk to yourself until you remember what you need and you realize that everything you need is actually on the opposite side of the store. Regardless of the list you brought you get there you realize that there was also that other thing you needed like a week ago in the isle that you were just at so you go back there. This ends up happening several times until you’ve made like 5 laps around the store. Bonus: you also may have forgotten to get a cart or a basket. You finally leave after around 2 or more hours and when get to your car it feels like you’ve walked 5 miles and your eyes are blurry from the exhausting fluorescent lights. You’re also tired from dancing around people, all the brightly colored packaging, annoying music, and having to concentrate with everything going. Then you get home and immediately realize you’re still missing something.
Or is that just me?

the prevalence of the term 'unhinged' in modern times is actually an indicator of a society which can only be redeemed by the work of someone who can re-hinge people; in other words, a master carpenter; in other words, Jesus - in this essay i will
