Story time: I went to boarding school and one day my dad sent me a letter and told me to open it in the dining hall so I was like ??? maybe he sent something for my friends too. So I take it to dinner and open it, and it turns out it’s a card. A record-your-voice card in which my dad recorded himself yelling at the top of his lungs about how my dog pooped on the carpet. And that is the story of how my dad sent me a Howler one day.

Geek Week

My glasses are just slightly larger than my face, and I prefer a bun over leaving my hair loose, any day. But that doesn’t necessarily state that my fashion choices are shoddy. Personal style and originality are two things that will get you far in life. Finding your personal style will not only make you comfortable in your skin, but it’ll help boost your confidence as well.  

Today, we discuss a look that is comfortable and perfect for a long day out in the sun. Comic books and superhero inspired clothing doesn’t need to be restricted to kids anymore. Incorporate them into your daily wardrobe to complement your carefree attitude. Not just that, animal prints are a smart choice. And I don’t mean the cheetah leggings or zebra printed tops. I mean the owl pyjamas and unicorn t-shirts with quirky prints. Experiment a bit with your crazy side, let it take over and pick your outfit.

If you aren’t comfortable with wearing your Game of Thrones t-shirt that is twice your size because you think it would look unflattering, then pair I with skinny denims or denims shorts that end over an inch below the t-shirt. For makeup, stick to the basics like a light pink lipstick with a good coat of mascara. If you opt for heavy makeup, the point of the outfit is quite frankly lost.
