I think she realized when the chapter was closed and enough made sense to go forward with the deal rather than continue excavating her past at any and all cost. This is the definition of peace. She has it all.

i have said since 2020 that she’d take a deal if the deal was fair and if the deal excluded scooter. it was true then, it’s true now. pretty sure the metaphor i used was that if you take the back roads because the highway is closed, you’re not going to stay on them once it reopens.
