3800 BE, DAWN ERA
The full brunt of the invasion is upon the mountainous east, the fields of battle strew carrion soldiers across valleys in Visana whilst the Kirastrians begin to bear down upon the walls of Potasa and Kanshu in small raiding parties, preparing for a full assault, but the west and south instead practice more peaceful conduct and diplomacy with the Internostri and Osolomoni people coming together to worship Aevum and the Orachi trade and prosper with the Q'abiru with their new found scriptures assisting in the administration. But a new nation has formed out of the violence.
Some Kirastrians were following their ruler riding their trusty steed, Merehan, onwards to new prosperous lands away from the hostile mountains, until a stray arrow from an Urifum ambush struck the lord dead in the head. Merehan felt it's master slump over, and in a rage, charged the hidden ambush, trampling and kicking them to death, leading the rest to flee the scene. Merehan then strolled back to the convoy in awe, before continuing to lead them. Eventually, the force came upon a lake with significant grazing lands, where the fine steed Merehan finally took rest, grazing after days of travel. The Kirastrians decided this was the place, their now divine ruling steed was clearly a messenger of the gods that brought them to these green pastures, a prime place for settlement. Mereha was the city founded, and the Mere script was created along withe the founding to help describe the story of the city and the tribe beforehand. The Mereha did not support the other Kirastrians in the Alisae assault, but they instead watched their horse messiah bring them a new life of prosperity.
But prosperity isn't limited to lake sides, as the western Orachi continue to trade with the Q'abiru, they attempt to strengthen their economic and material bonds with trade relations, finding a new motivation for creation, perhaps even artistic endeavors prosper in this trade environment, the distance doesn't hinder this partnership either as greater vessels are produced by workmen for greater voyages with greater capacity for trade goods, improving overall quality of life in both areas. [ShockedBread's Orachim]
But in the east, the Chalakaw priests instead imprison heretics who have brought unorthodox doctrine of a star goddess from the east, but their original purpose of bringing the Kanshu script was successful, being adapted to fit Orachi needs, and these needs are religious as they discovered their own god in the sky, Shmayyan, the bright light in the night sky which everything orbits is spread by the elites, as the king is their messiah, it's embodiment! What a miracle that Shmayyan has brought upon us, the promise of conquest and paradise! But the myth of calamity has seeped out of the prision, which god of the stars is the true god? [Pfysche's Orachim]
In the east, the Iliket confront the Urami as prophesied, assaulting tribe after tribe in bloody warfare. Until a new threat emerged once again, a greater threat, a full scale foreign invasion. So once again the Urami and Iliket settle their differences, but not without feud or bickering. The tired armies face off entire tribes of the barbarians, along with some mysterious refugees previously pushed out by these invaders and... Stalemate. Bodies lay along the valley as people give out and starve, the situation is bleak, but not over.[STALEMATE, 40/100, d100-10]
After sending the envoy off, the Kanshu devout people decide to prepare for any invasion, militarising and building defenses for any incoming invaders, training additional warrior monks in case things go south. And a fight came, in the form of small raiding parties? Many fled at the sight of a weapon and the casualties and losses were low, so the people began to relax as there was no way they were in danger. That was until a mountain in the distance changed colour. That was an army. War is coming.
On the other site facing an army, Potasa, they quickly took in the refugees, filling any job gaps with the additional manpower, filling all p[reviously empty districts bustling with life. There was slight strain on the food supply, but it was temporary at worst, and it certainly wasn't the source of the tension in the air. The invaders could be seen in the distance, and so the Potasans took to the ground, digging up all the copper they could find for weapons and shields, as they needed protection, fast.
But let's take a step back, to somewhere more peaceful. The coastal Osolimoni have created extensive cults of Aevum everywhere, converting many of the new arrivals of the Internostri, slightly merging the cultures into a diverse society. Do not mistake this for acceptance, for the grace of Aevum was to be respected at swordpoint. The Internostri did journey here in search for a divine purpose, but not all seemed to accept the myth immediately. The sword convinced them soom enough though.
Concluding today with a look at the Kirastrians, the rhetoric of barbarianism is simply bias. They are just an ethnic group looking for greener pastures from the mountains, they aren't as evil as many would have you perceive. They wander the valleys downstream simply for a promise of better life, and they're willing to fight for their own good. Just a reminder that in history, there are no good or bad guys most of the time, just propaganda and biased views. Wait no that's a lie, real life isn't that simple, there were assholes throughout time, forgot warcriminals existed for a sec.

News travels fast through the river system, an invasion from the mountains that the Urifum peoples could not hold up against, and foreign barbarians are flooding down into the lowlands as a horde, the Urifum people arriving beforehand as harbingers of destruction beforehand, creating crisis after crisis as cities are swarmed with refugees from mass pillages, not only do cities have to deal with this new instability, but also lay in fear of a new existential threat.
Not everyone has to worry about the east however, the Orachim people of the western cities send out dozens of mercantile voyages downstream in search of trade partners, and they found plenty along the agriculturally wealthy Q'abiru city states, including the Asanid gates themselves, bringing exotic crop back north for fine dining and cultivation, in exchange for crafted goods delivered, as well as improving trade links and relations across the region, recieving info on profitable trade routes from now friendly Asanid merchants.[ShockedBread's Orachim]
The eastern Orachim however, settled in Chalakaw, instead spend time developing their craft and tools with alloy experimentation, comparisons and general metallurgy innovation taking place, but that was nopt the onl focus, as a few envoys similarly ended up in Asanid, or even Kanshu to learn the secret of the written word, perhaps to take it for mercantile purpose, perhaps for diplomacy, maybe even for administration. But written language spreads to yet another peoples, following in the steps of religion.[Pfysche's Orachim]
While the farming boom dies down due to the unsustainablility, people return to more skilled professions in the city, but also wish for a standardised method of teaching. For this purpose, many master craftsmen, artisans and other such skilled people have set up classes to teach apprentices en mass theory and practical training in certainskills as a future investment in the community to curb the unstable state of workforce distribution, though that may be solved in place of a new problem. Refugees, a lot of them are now around the city, claiming to be harbingers of a force of great force and destruction, and requesting asylum.[Inferno's Internostri]
Further down south however, similar advances are made by the same peoples, but in different settings. The transmigratory tribes have finally drawn near to the source of the myth of Aevum, but find themselves at the entrance of an unfamiliar culture, no doubt speaking of the same myth and the same dawn the whole region has seen and been attracted to, but the negotiations to go further are as of yet, unclear. So the people set up tents of learning and temporary farms to accomodate while they wait to decide what to do. [ARADIA'S INTERNOSTRI] [SUCCESS, 53/100]
On the other side however, were the Osolimoni people, seeing these new mysterious arrivals vaguely drawn to the same coast. And they aren't the only ones, along both sides of the coast, peoples from far away have arrived due to the myth of Aevum, drawn by the elegance of the story. This may have been caused by the written language spreading the myth further, or by fishermen meeting mysterious peoples from far away. But the result is the same, many peoples have now appeared in the area, curious about Aevum and her blessings.
At Kanshu, progression in geothermal heating system continues as thick piping is gradually extended to provide for most of the city's needs, decreasing waste of precious few trees in the mountains, leaving the civilisation bored. Many begin to practise the doctrine of combat as decreed by the one true messiah, and rightfully so as echos of war can be heard mountains away, their source unclear but their voice concerning. Oh, and a foreign envoy from the west has arrived... Orachi peoples? Looking to learn the Kanshuan language?
The Iliket and Urami do not agree on many things, but upstart conquerors needing to be put down is one of them. History doesn't record the chronicles of Istah, but his name became chaos and his agression caused imbalance. The rival tribes have proven themselves in battle, haughty with pride, which is why prophets of Urami speak of an Iliket army being raised to take over all of the Visana. Until Waves of Refugees appear in the unfamiliar lands of Iliket, their source unclear, but they speak of death, a different threat from the mountains. A threat fast approaching.
That threat are the Kirastran people, a horde from the mountains migrating into the river basin for a new life, displacing and butchering tribes upon tribes which now sit on the doorsteps of Potasa and Touraken, they have powered through the helpless Urifum like Jugernauts, vile and vicious by account. But they are not immortal, for in the southern Urifum holdout, they weren't only repelled, but beaten back, allowing the Urifum to consolidate into the fortress city of Rafua. The scope of this invasion however, is far wider than you think.[WEST HOLD CRITICAL FAILIURE, -4/100. SOUTH WEST HOLD MILD FAILIURE, 32/100, SOUTH HOLD SUCCESS, 65/100, EACH d100-30]

3900 BE, Dawn Era
Civilisation extends it's reach to all bends of the grand rivers now, from the Kanshu peaks all the way down to the Sea of Aevum. Orachim cities upon the upper Hewatha slowly expand upcourse with migrations to find a source, a purpose even, while those along the Rivestrella, the Internostri, instead to choose to follow the myth of the benevolent sea. Not like they're the only ones doing so. And finally we have the Visana valley, two tribes facing off to the death, while perhaps someone else slowly enters the fray. The opening moves have been made.
The Potasean people can be seen working the fields, though abnormally far from their city along the river, for they have discovered not only primitive irrigation much like the south, but also how to transport water upwards in pipes. This invention brought not only a small sect of former farmers now experimenting with how to potentially use the current of the water, but also made farming more appealing, leading many to rush for potential agricultural lands. This depopulated many skilled professions, but gave rise to widespread agriculture, producing more produce than to feed but a few families per farm, leading to a bartering economy of goods for bulk food, but also to proto-sciences in the form of water management and it's properties. But masonry and other such professions are now underpopulated and have to rely on migrants.
Within the Visana valley, the Iliket people of soon found out about an uncomfortably close new confederation breathing down their back. Not only do they claim that the people of Touraken are barbarians, but claim belief in a false patron named Khalis? The people within Touraken understandably weren't too pleased to find out about this new coalition formed against them, with even hysteria being present within the settlement. They too also heard about a different force arriving from downstream, and a threat from the mountains. These are uncertain times indeed.
The Orachi however, were having the times of their lives. Firstly, there was a boom in artistic architecture along the river Hewatha, with the exodites forming small towns centered around farming and freedom rather than workmanship in the east, making homes out of creative passion rather than to meet a quota, building farmhouses with more aesthetic designs rather than for strict purpose. Though the cities in the east weren't free from this trend either. Majestic homes sell for better prices, especially to the nobles in the city, and work as a temple builder wasn't bad either.
The Orachi people also began building temples in the city of Chalakaw, their upper echelon of residents claiming to foresee change in the river thanks to the guiding stars. People believed this, maybe because building and decorating the temples was decorative, or perhaps the power the previously already wealthy Clergy held was intimidating to say the least. This coincided with a trust in agriculture, leaving high density crops to be planted more along the river out of presumed safety. As to who spoke with the stars, that was unknown to the public for now.
We now turn back to the ever travelling Internostri, where many decided to perhaps stay in a certain small transitory village. This village grew along with the appeal to stay, of course not all stayed, but a large portion saw this encampment expand into a full fledged city, the city of Eagalb. Unlike Potasa however, Eagalb is in-between four cultures, leading to some ethnic diversity and diverse markets and trade. But their transitory traits aren't easy to shake off in such a short period, so many leave the town on the journey to the south still. But the city remains among one of the first Internostri cities, and an important destination to many merchants on their journeys. [FAILRP, CULTURES DON'T FORM THAT FAST LEGITSI] [MODIFIED LOW MEDIUM SUCCESS, 83/100, 53+30]
As the Kanshu further explore their hostile environment, they not only find mineral wealth, but also vents seemingly spewing forth heat from the earth. Many found this discovery unnerving, but the messiah waved these concerns away and had these vents redirected with additional molded piping. But these pipes were not perfect, so any houses had to be built on top of these hot spots to benefit from this warmth, same with any terrace farms. But the allure of the star visage convinced these Kanshi people to carry on in hopes... Of reaching such heights... One day. Written language was present in runic scriptures elsewhere beforehand, but we too see it's mass development with the rise of Calamity's word in the mountains.
The Osolomoni towns however, sung a tune not of ascension but ancestry in the sea. Strange fish-like creatures, not quite unfamiliar enough to not be considered similar to humans, speak of doom to passing fishermen going about their daily harvest, spreading fear amonght the coast. One night, a curious child took a stranger's boat to the sea to meet these creatures, but found only laughing storms. The boat capsised soon enough, and the child nearly drowned. Then a bright figure rose from below and gently raised the child. The mysterious, yet beautiful, woman brought the lone child to their village, to the awe of fishermen about to set off in the Dawn. She lay the child upon a humble dock, and spoke. "You May Call Me Aevum, Now Run Along."
And then, she was gone.
The Osolomoni upon the coast saw this as a sign of a saving grace, the god now had a face. Aevum. Their potential ancestor, ready to save them in their greatest time of need.
And hence, the sea was named after her, the Sea of Aevum.
But that is not the last change to happen, for Urifum people have been sent running across the region. For what reason? They speak of Barbarians rushing down from the mountains, assaulting their tribes en masse. This has caused a full scale relocation and displacement of a culture, an incoming crisis to not only anyone in the path of these migrants but also a threat, because who are the invaders? And why are they attacking? But for now, the river turns dark, and a new issue arises. A select few tribes still hold the tide however, may you hope they hold.

3950 BE, DAWN ERA The first cities rise and the beginnings of civilisation is upon us. From migratory cultures making their way around populated farmlands and traversing previously unknown stretches of rivers, to great cities and centers of religion being set up to set the scene for centuries of Myth and Legend to come. From the humble communes of fishermen to new sandstone cities among the lifeblood of the earth. From the aspiring rulers of the next generation, to holy messiahs. The world is pivoted to a clash and contrast in ideals, the dark clouds gather on one end of the horizon, but on the other, we see the Dawning sun with rays of promise and progress. Time will tell which behavioral nature belongs to the human race, prosperity or conflict. The gods aren't sitting still, they have made their plays. A stretch of mountains is hard to inhabit, but divine promise brought Caverli people to the peaks where they gazed upon promising stars of power, a visage as changing as it was alluring. A religious peak this became, and the first person to have stepped upon this peak suddenly named themselves a messiah of Calamity, the goddess of Stars. They ordered a temple, and for their people to settle upon these harsh mountains, to live off the land in spite of the hateful ground which they stood upon. they named these lands Kanshu. Down on the coast, a different God, one without form, rose from the sea in no particular form, but it provided a temptation. The temptation of the great seas, to which many Osolimoni people answered the call and set up fishing Communes to praise the bounty the god provided, and harvest it gratefully. They borrowed it's warm water to grow their crops in harvest and festival, a celebration of the forgiving grand unknown and beyond which grants them everything they will ever need. The Osolimoni people weren't alone in this temptation however, and Internostri people from various communities make pilgrimage down to join their brethren upon the coast, setting up transitory villages en masse along the rivers as they journey. Not everyone stayed in these villages, but those that did unknowingly are building the foundations of great cities to line this river for Millennia to come. They however, found themselves at a connection of another river , one populated by unknown peoples who might have been hostile to such a large group trespassing, but it didn't take much words to explain the journey, and a few from the cities of Q'abiru joined the journey themselves. [HIGH MEDIUM SUCCESS, 77/100] There was however one more god which sought to spread their influence upon the land down below them. Iliket revealed himself(?) unto a tribe of Alisae nomads wandering the hillsides, who immediately took up the Divine being's name and carried out bloody conquest upon the region, taking out and slitting rival after rival, enemy after heretic. They consolidated power in the name of Iliket, and founded a city bathed in the foundation of blood. Touraken. A name now feared in the region, told only in the most hushed voices.
As mentioned before, the Q'abiru people set up many a cities upon river connections, taking lands most fertile, growing fields of crop as they pleased. Mostly undisturbed and isolated, though still in contact with friendly tribes of Orachim to the north and friendlier trans-migratory peoples passing through their fields. They do not have a story of bold divine intervention, but that does not mean the highest god does not gaze upon them, watching...[NPC REQUEST] The Internostri people didn't all seek the bountiful sea when traveling south however, many came to a stop at a once town, now City of Potasa. The young city was a city of mercantile wealth with all the migrants moving through their domain, trading goods and bartering for pottery and other fine commodities, it is quickly becoming a centre of art and trade despite it's position being relatively isolated, rumors of the goods are even reaching as far as Asanid, tempting some merchants to make the trip to come into possession of these fine gifts. Orachi people too took up the town building movement, giving rise to many differing towns of agriculture and masonry. Isolated from the rest of this ancient world, they take two approaches, one is finding entertainment in craft. Be it architecture, masonry or even early blacksmiths, you're only as good as your tools and works. A lazy worker creates shody houses and deserves to live in such abodes. A culture of workmanship is forming. Those who do not find joy in isolated work however, seek retreat and escape to lands they have never seen, no stories speak of what lies upstream of the river, and many pack their things and travel not unlike the Internostri, but in the opposite direction. They find ruins, but there is a calm silence. An eerie silence to some, but a lot of people are just happy to not hear the ringing of metal upon metal anymore, they are finding more ruins by the day though. [MODIFIED CRITICAL+ SUCCESS, 122/100, 92+30]
SUMMARY We have early religion, early towns, cities and art while also seeing the first conquestss and explorations.

Hello Tumblr, I'd like to show this new cool thing I'm working on! Is it a game? Kinda. Text based turn request thingymajig so you and several other people can play god and recreate history with completely different events. Sounds chaotic? It will be with my organisation skills. But chaos is fun, and I have 6 players so far, but I'd like a few more! The schedule is that there is one turn per every two days excluding Saturday which will have several hopefully, and yu play by requesting changes or RPing about a group on the map. It can be as simple as "The Osolimonese people settle along the river" or "The Q'aribu people explore west", to paragraphs of lore on the settling and creation of the first civilisations. Be as silly as you want, but don't name something straight up "Among us". At least translate it into Portugese. If that interests you, PM me! This is held on a discord server, but I don't mind taking requests from here, and I'll certainly keep you updated on the goings-on in a doccumentary fashion! Final note, I have a few cultures named by players already, but I'd like a few more! Current cultures include: Orachim, Q'abiru, Internostri and Osolimon.
