“Kiiiinda thought you were, y’know. Stuck here. Or is it, like, ‘building must be this haunted for you to visit?’ Because the complex is pretty haunted."

“Yeah.” Her voice didn’t crack. That’d be stupid. “Couple’a superhumans right here. Gonna live forever.”

“Damn straight, kiddo. No one’s killed me yet. Means it ain’t possible.” He flashed Heather a goofy smile.
