Trailing after her contentedly, David observed her quite attractive figure, the confident way in which she walked. She seemed a proud woman, interesting, confident. Hopefully she might turn out more interested in him, as well.
"Hm...truthfully, I hadn't thought of one. Perhaps we could discuss first...art, or music. D'ya have any interest in tha'?" He curiously inquired, just loud enough to be heard over the din.
"I'd suggest politics, but tha's so dull, you know."

Well, that was...unexpected. The cold thorns from her were practically visible and pricking him.
Yikes.
"Just wondering if y'wanted t'talk?" Asked he casually, tilting his head and keeping up the effervescent smile. He would pull a line about how she seemed lonely, but she seemed ready to punch him out if need be, so he figured honesty was the best policy here. After all, he did try his best to avoid getting hit.
"I was alone, you were alone... I'm looking for someone to talk to. Up for it?" He finished his drink and set it on the nearest table, maintaining their eye contact.
Glitter and Cigarette Smoke
It was late at night, the moon peering down at the line of people snaking down the street corner, those people clamouring to get inside the hottest club–Studio 54.
David Bowie, however, was already in. Seated on a round, white booth, the lean singer watched the people on the dance-floor in amusement, observing the writhing, wriggling bodies pressed against each other, smiling faces, parted lips. His pale fingers curled around his whiskey glass and he brought it to his own lips, not yet drinking from it as he gazed about the vast room.
There, across the floor, was a beautiful blonde woman, the pulsing lights shining on her sculpted face. Now she was definitely a gorgeous human being.
David was lonely, it was late, and everybody here seemed to have another body but him.
Maybe she would care to join him.
So he stood, clutching his tumbler in hand as he weaved and ducked his way through the sea of people, slowly exhaling as he finally reached her. “‘Ello,” He chirped with a toothy grin, “I’m David.”
