:n; I've been gone cleaning the old place we give the keys back tomorrow so I've had no time to draw although I will get the raffle adopt out today. However, I have a much more serious problem... So this is day 3 that our younger gecko has refused to eat. I'm a first time reptile mom so maybe that's not as big a deal as it seems to me but she also seems to be bloated in her belly. No she isn't acting lethargic she is perfectly active in fact all she wants to do is be held but that's her typical behavior. I have noticed however that her climbing is no good lately, now, she never really was good at climbing she started out with a messed up leg and terrible balance but she just feels like she isn't trying to hold onto me if that makes sense? Now I'm not asking if anyone knows what could be wrong because best thing to do is take her to the vet and I'm working on finding a reptile vet here in town to do that. But:/ We just don't have the money, our saving funds are extremely low right now from the screw up with our previous renters charging us and unexpected extra months rent as well as canceling tv services and paying off the rest of our contract. It basically sucked us dry. Now we do have a bit left but a vet visit and a new cage. I'm thinking she could be starving herself due to too small of an enclosure since she is always trying to get out of the cage and we've needed a 20 gallon since we've gotten her anyway we just never had the money. We were waiting to get my boyfriends bonus to buy it but I think the sooner the better considering it could be the cause. Although another possibility I think is it could be an egg issue considering she looks bloated. We are going to sex the older gecko at the pet store we got them from to see if she is truly male or female and if she turns out to be male we will have to separate them which is fine because we are going to be buying a new cage anyways. Now I'm telling you all this not just as an update to explain my absence but I really need some help. I can afford to get these things done now but we will have no emergency money left so if anything happens we are screwed. So what I'm asking is for some donations from anyone who can. Points or paypal I will take either. If you can only donate points I will make a widget so they can be converted into money in my paypal. If you don't have a lot it's fine, anything helps. If you can't today that's fine too just so long as I can get some help to pay whatever the cost is back would be glorious.
