it’s all become clear why we’re three weeks into this armie hammer drama and that piece of shit still hasn’t been arrested.  apparently effie admitted on insta to finding a folder on his computer that was packed full of explicit images of underage girls, and she turned a blind eye.  so much for protecting women, huh?  funny thing is, she could be charged with failing to report a crime, and face six months in jail! that, ladies, gents and nonbinaries, is why she hasn’t taken this to the authorities.  and all you charmies out there still defending this dumpster fire of a person, wake the fuck up already!

can’t believe people are legit excusing armie hammer’s behavior?  what does this dude have to do to convince some people that he’s a monumental dumpster fire? i swear with some of you if he came into your house, took a shit in your fridge, broke your most prized possession, killed your pet, flushed your phone, and set your closet on fire, you’d still be like ‘oh armie, they’re just so wrong about you!’ if you can do the mental gymnastics required to write off the cannibalism as a joke....put the abusive tendencies down to misadventures in bdsm....despite all the increasingly overwhelming evidence to say he’s a piece of shit with women... the dude is still a prolific cheater....he was still using his infant child as an excuse to go out and meet his mistress(es). he was still plotting to assault someone (CNC or not) while caring for his child. he’s still laughing in the faces of his wife and family by doing drugs and bragging about passing (seemingly court ordered) piss tests. he was still drinking and driving putting the lives of strangers at risk on the roads etc etc etc.  he’s a typical over privileged white boy who’s grown up thinking he’s untouchable and free to mess with people however he pleases. the dude ain’t worthy of any benefit of the doubt, or sympathy. he’s trash. you people need to accept it and find someone else to stan.

does anyone know yet why this armie hammer stuff is coming out now? i mean i know it takes a hell of a lot for victims of this kind of thing to come forward. (it took me over a decade to even admit my own experiences to myself) but he has all the hallmarks of a legitimate killer. for all we know he has harmed more women because he is clearly completely shameless and should have been exposed a lot sooner. it could have saved others from similar experiences with him.  what triggered the reveal here? and does anyone know if the police have been notified yet because the court of social media isn’t the place for all this. if it’s legit it needs to go the authorities like last week!  if any of this is true the man needs to be immediately placed in a facility for long and intensive treatment. a person with this mentality should not be on the streets.

I don’t follow Onision so I can’t compare what he did to what Dawson has done.  Sadly, you are right. And even if they did investigate, he’s going to see them coming a mile off now and dispose of anything incriminating before he gets caught. Even if he did get found with incriminating content, he’d be able to buy himself out of trouble anyway.  That being said, I’d still like to see him be dragged through a police station. If nothing else it might knock him down a peg or two and show him that his actions happen in the real world, not the YT/Influencer Bubble. 

real talk - why hasn’t someone reported shane dawson to the police already? he is showing a distinct pattern of behavior that strongly implies paedophilia tenancies and at very least I think the police need to seize his electronics and check his internet history because there is no smoke without fire.

Not to disparage other fans' headcanons, but I find these constant depictions of Arthur as this raging sexual dynamo downright surreal at times. Regardless of his honor level, Arthur's socially awkward, has no self-confidence, and thinks he's ugly and unlovable. He never makes sexual jokes or comments. He's not suave or debonair--he's a poor liar and stumbles over his words a lot. Outside of combat he's actually pretty clumsy. I find it hard to believe that he has much sexual experience.

Agree mostly, disagree on a few points.  I do agree it’s likely Arthur is not that sexually experienced, given the characterization we’re presented.  He comes across as very romantically shy, and he very strongly comes across as somewhere on the asexual spectrum given his complete lack of interest in hookups or hiring sex workers despite ample opportunity.  Given how much he craves romance and needs personal ties, I personally see him as demisexual, needing a strong emotional relationship before any kind of sexual attraction might (no guarantee though) develop.  He’s clearly had sex at least once in his life given that he fathered Isaac, but there’s no indication that this a habitual thing.  The fact he and Eliza never married would seem to indicate it was no romance, but an awkward hookup.  Drunk grief for his breakup with Mary, or perhaps him trying to be performative and force himself to “be a man”.He isn’t terribly clumsy, though.  When he’s not self-conscious, he’s pretty agile, and deft at various non-combat based tasks.  He also does make sexual wisecracks, and sings numerous bawdy songs, because being aspec (and likely inexperienced from sheer lack of interest) doesn’t at all equal being a naive, blushing prude who can’t say “dick”.

He yells all sorts of thirsty shit to the female acts when you take him to see a show on his own. So it’s nothing to do with pressure to conform, it’s something he chooses to do.  Have you ever considered lack of sex in the game was simply just a choice of Rockstar??? To either save money on development by not adding a whole element about using prostitutes, or choosing not to lower the tone into GTA territory? It doesn’t have to count towards characterisation in any way.  OR that perhaps they thought it was in poor taste to let a character who was infected with TB almost immediately (that became active midway through the game) go around having close intimate contact with a string of women already forced into sex work?  They couldn’t exactly suddenly stop Arthur’s options to hook up after Guarma without having people wonder why, which would have spoiled the big twist. And it wouldn’t have been very “redemptive” to have Arthur unknowingly (or otherwise) infect a bunch of women throughout the game.  Also don’t forget the game covers no more than three months of Arthur’s life, during a highly stressful time (which severely impacts on libido) we don’t know what he got up to before that. He could have had a string of women, or been like Charles and Javier were in chatting up saloon girls at every opportunity!  Dutch also says Arthur used to be like Sean, and Sean is the only gang member we hear of having sex during the game.   Also there’s the whole element of when Arthur DOES accept an invitation he gets jumped! If that’s happened at any point in the past it would make him reluctant to accept any sex workers advances. As if STD’s weren’t a big enough risk, getting knifed by someone’s pimp surely would be.   And he wouldn’t hold any kind of relationship with the camp girls either because of their age and familial bonds, or because he’s seen how complicated things get with inter gang romance.  Don’t forget, we never see or hear of established couples like Dutch and Molly or John and Abigail having sex. The online protag can’t use prostitutes either, so is everyone asexual? Or was it just a development/narrative choice? Because I feel the latter is far more likely than everyone in the game having no interest in the physical act of sex.  Molly does say that Dutch hasn’t touched her in weeks, mostly likely because of the stress he’s under. So doesn’t it stand to reason that Arthur’s lack of interest during the game is down to the pressure of the situation and lack of security the gang is facing? Sex just isn’t a priority to a lot of people, especially when they’re facing difficulties, it doesn’t equal a/demi sexuality.  The most likely reason of all, in terms of characterisation, is simply that Arthur chooses not to engage in sexual activity, especially on a whim, because that’s likely how Isaac came to be, and he doesn’t want history to repeat itself ever again.  I understand you want to headcanon he’s demi/asexual, then that’s fine but don’t push it as canon because there are far simpler explanations for why sex isn’t a huge part of the game. Also, the behaviors you list could classify practically anyone who isn’t constantly a part of a beast with two backs as demi/asexual.  I don’t believe Arthur is some sex crazed bedroom God, either. Nor do I believe he’s someone who hasn’t been around the bedroom his fair share of times. But I feel it’s far more likely Arthur chooses to avoid sex to protect himself (in a number of different ways - from STD’s to being jumped to unplanned pregnancies!) rather than actively has little/no interest in being physical with someone.

But he does make (borderline) sexual comments though, so he obviously has the urges to some degree. Take him to the shows in St Denis, he is thirsty as hell for the snake lady and the fire dancing woman. As soon as the Can-Can girls come out and start flashing their underwear he’s like “Now this is more like it!” much to Mary’s disapproval.  So I think it’s more likely to be unresolved grief, fear and depression/anxiety that keeps him from developing sexual relationships or acting on any urges he has. He just doesn’t want another reason to hate himself.
