It is not enough to feel the best of feelings towards somebody, to feel love or remorse, or gratitude, etc. . “ The fact that you know it, doesn’t do much for the other person, if you don’t say it. It’s like buying a gift for somebody and not offering it.” Esthel Perel, How’s work?

But the thing is, you raved and you bitched when you came home about the stupidity of audiences. The goddam unskilled laughter coming from the fifth row. And that's right, that's right - God knows it's depressing. I'm not saying it isn't. But that's none of your business, really. That's none of your business, Franny. An artist's only concern is to shoot for some kind of perfection, and on his own terms, not anyone else's. You have no right to think about these things, I swear to you. Not in any real sense, anyway.

2020 has been a difficult year with layers of challenges unfolding. As some things are out of our control, some still are and it should be our intention to adapt and grow. Nevertheless, through these challenging times the contrast between what is and what it ought to be in terms of workplace environment deepened for me. I read a lot of interesting articles touching this subject and I will post them here for reference.

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.
