I Could Get Used to That
Kim Seokjin x reader

A/N: Hey! This most recent "Run Jin" episode made me feral over actor Jin, so here's a little blurb! It's technically my first time writing an action scene, so please bear with me! Anyway, enjoy!
Tumblr media
“How are you doing so far,” you asked Jin as he came to sit by you during a break while filming “Run Jin”.
“I’m so tired,” he huffed, taking the water bottle you offered to him.
“Well, there’s only the final clock out scene left. You’re going to do great,” you tried to encourage him.
He gulped down the water before looking at you.
“How am I looking,” he asked, as sly smirk started to make it’s way onto his lips.
You smiled and rolled your eyes, “You actually look pretty cool. I haven’t gotten to see a lot of ‘Actor Jin’ much these days.”
He smiled as the director called for break to be over. You both got up and started walking over to where Jin was supposed be to watch what he had to do for the final scene.
“Why don’t you try your hand at the final scene with me,” he asked, glancing at me with his arms crossed as he stood in position.
“You act,” Doohong asked as he walked over.
You shook your head and hands, “No.”
“We were technically in the same acting major when we went to college,” Jin chimed in, peeking Doohong’s interest.
“I haven’t acted since then and that was what… almost ten years ago?”
Jin nodded, but Doohong was still creating an idea in his head.
“How about we incorporate you in the scene,” he thought aloud.
You furrowed your eyebrows in slight confusion which made him explain a little more.
“It wouldn’t be anything big, and you wouldn’t have to do any of the stunts Jin’s doing.”
Jin chuckled at that statement thinking about how hard this scene is going to be.
“We can just have you pretend to be kidnapped and Jin’s going to save you. No fighting or major stunts involved. What do you think?”
Wait, I'm the damsel in distress?
You looked between Jin, Doohong, and the set before shrugging. “I guess…”
Doohong clapped his hands in excitement, “Great! Let me talk with the team to set up the scene and then we’ll get started!”
He walked away, calling the actors for a huddle to talk about whats going to change. You sighed, shaking your head, then looking at Jin.
“Do you see what you did?”
He smiled at you, “Now you know my pain.”
You grumbled.
~
You and Jin were in the middle of going through the scene with the actors so when the time came to film, you nothing knew what to do. Your part was pretty easy compared to Jin's: hands held behind your back, being shoved, taking some (fake) punches before being led to a chair and being tied and blindfolded, all while Jin's fighting the “bad guys”. In the end, Jin finally finds, unties, and hugs you, happy that you're now safe and he got you in time.
It took a while to learn the sequence. They taught you how to make it look convincing when taking the punches a few more times and then you were done with practicing. Jin still wanted a couple more run-throughs to make sure he got it down, so while he did that, the hair and make-up team pulled you aside to fix your hair and add a couple of scratches and bruises to your face.
The director asked if everyone was ready to go. You and Jin nodded and he was led to climb a ladder onto the high wall-sill. You were led outside and got into position with the rest of the actors as you waited for the crew to say ‘action’.
One guy on your right side took your right arm, bringing it behind you, and bent it up so your hand was up on your back near your shoulder blades, then place his free hand on your shoulder.
Another guy on your left just held your left arm down and with his free hand, mirrored the other’s action and placed it on your shoulder. You shook your head a bit to mess up your hair, then you were all set when they called, “Action!”
The men who were holding your arms shoved you roughly though the entrance into a large garage. You tried jerking out of the grasp, but the action just made them hold on tighter as to not let you go.
“Let me go,” you exclaimed, trying your best to break free, but the man holding your arm behind your back pushed it up farther, sending a sharp pain up through your shoulder, making you wince.
“Get! Off of me!”
You struggled for a moment before Jin jumped off the ledge, rolling off some mats before making it to the ground. He looked around at the men before his eye landed on you.
“Jin,” you called out as he started to fight some of the gang members.
One of the men from your group moved in front of you.
“Shut up already,” he said, frustratedly before throwing a punch. You quickly moved your head to the side (pretending to get hit).
You jerked forward, trying to break their hold on you, but unfortunately, it happened at the same time as he threw another punch, making it land on the apple of your cheek which sent a rush of pain to your face, making you cry out from the accidental impact.
Tears started involuntarily pooling in your eyes as you were being dragged away. You looked at Jin just as he threw a glance over to you during a short break in fighting.
His brows furrowed in concern when he saw the tears in your eyes before you were led behind the curtain which made this situation much more real to him.
You were taken behind the first curtain and then through the second one that was behind the “boss” before you were forcefully placed in a chair.
Three men worked fast to restrain your legs and arms to the chair, all while putting a blindfold on you. You struggled trying to get out of the restraints, but it was no use.
Your breathing quicken as you listened to what was happening beyond the curtain in front of you. Jin grunted as the boss threw him on top of the car, creating a metallic thud sound. There was some shifting that could be heard, another thud and a pause.
The curtain opened and some yelling ensued, along with some pained grunts, stating that Jin was here. One of the three men stood behind you while the others were fighting, grabbed your chin and forcefully lift your head, exposing your neck as he placed the (plastic) knife against it.
You tried moving your head, but stayed in that position for a moment longer until your chin was let go and a soft thud could be heard behind you.
The feeling of hands on your shoulders and the pain that was spreading across your face made you a bit more paranoid than you should’ve been, so you started jerking to try and get out of their grasp.
“Get away from me! Get-”
Jin took off the blindfold and you immediately looked eyes. You quietly searched his eyes and then his face as he did a once over before moving to untie your arms and legs.
Once you were free, we threw yourself at him, wrapping your arm tight around his neck in desperate hug. He graciously returned it and slowly stood up before breaking the hug, gently placing his hands on either side of your face. He looked at you intently.
“Are you okay,” he whispered, looking at the made-up bruises and scratches and the not-so-fake bruise that was starting to form.
You nodded, looking into his eyes. You watched as his eyes scanned your face again, but stayed a bit longer on your lips, then met your eyes again. You unconsciously tilted your head slightly to the side and before the director could shout “cut”, Jin placed his lips on yours.
You melted into the kiss, which weirdly made the throbbing on you cheek go away, and placed one hand on the side of his head where his jaw and neck met and combed your fingers into the hair on the back of his head, hoping to make it last a little longer.
You both broke apart, basking in what just happened as the director yelled, “Cut!”
Clapping and whistling made its way around the room, making you and Jin come back to reality and the pain rush to your face once again.
“Ugh… ow,” you groaned, holding your cheek.
“Are you sure you’re okay, Y/n/n,” Jin asked, motioning for the on-site medic to come over.
He did, handing you an ice pack. You nodded in thanks and to answer Jin’s question as you placed the cold material on your cheek.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Don’t worry,” you smiled.
“I am so sorry,” the guy who accidentally hit you exclaimed, bowing in apology.
You shook your head, “No, no! It’s my fault! I got a little carried away and didn’t stick with what we rehearsed! It’s all on me!”
Jin snaked his arm around your waist as you tried downplaying the situation so the actor wouldn’t feel too bad about accidentally punching you. Doohong came over to where you both were standing, clapping excitedly at the scene that just unfolded.
“Wow! I couldn’t have written a scene like that if I tried! That was amazing!”
You and Jin wore a relieved smile at the complement.
“That was something out of an action-romance drama! You both would be great leads if you ever wanted to get into acting,” Doohong said.
Jin hummed, making you look at him, “Us in an action-romance…”
“Doesn’t sound too bad, huh,” you asked.
He shook his head, looking at you with a loving smile, “Me as the lead. You as my love interest. I think I could get used to that.”
You chuckled and placed your head on his shoulder, “Me too.”

Stay Where You Are
Kim Namjoon x f!reader
Chapter 4 | Main Masterlist
A/N: Enjoy!
Tumblr media
“How long?”
There was no malice in your voice that Namjoon could detect to see if you were mad that he didn’t tell this to you right away, but it did sound sad.
“How long have we been together,” you asked again, genuinely curious at this newfound knowledge.
You placed the picture frame back in its place and sat down on the bed as you looked at him and patted the spot next to you, signaling that he should sit down.
Namjoon nodded and sat down next to you, leaving a little space between you so you wouldn’t be uncomfortable.
He thought for a second before answering, “About four years.”
Your eye widened in shock. “Four years!? How did I forget someone that I’ll been with for four years?”
You raised your hand to cover your mouth as you realized just how much you lost. Not just the last seven years, but work, accomplishments, relationships. It was almost enough to send you into a spiral if it weren’t for Namjoon placing a comforting hand on yours.
“I’m sorry that I don’t remember you. Us,” you said, looking down at your joined hands.
“Don't be. It’s not your fault. You didn’t choose to forget the last seven years, it’s just what happened,” he reassured.
“What if I can’t remember at all?”
For the first time since finding out that you had amnesia, the worry of not being able to remember anything you’ve forgotten was starting to grow.
“Well then, you have us to remind you. Whatever you want to know, you can always ask me, or Harin, or the members and we’ll tell you anything you want.”
A small smile started to grow on your lips at the sweet statement and decided to take him up on that offer.
“Would you mind telling me how we met?”
Namjoon happily nodded, “Of course! I would love to.”
You shifted up on the bed and crossed your legs, making sure you were facing him like a kid waiting for their teacher to start the story. You nodded for him to start once you were comfortable. He chuckled at how cute you were before starting from the beginning.
“So we met in 2019 when you were a new employee at BigHit. The members and I were doing a photoshoot at the time and you running around doing whatever new employees do so we didn’t actually meet until after the shoot. You were still running around doing whatever you were asked when we literally ran into each other,” he chuckled at the memory, making you wish you could remember, but knowing that you’ll have to settle for the story for now.
“I asked if you were okay and you nodded before walking away while apologising, but I couldn’t reply because I was struck by how beautiful you were!”
You laughed, slightly flustered at the confession that you’ve probably heard before but was so new to you now.
“I’m guessing you didn’t go after me to ask me on a date then,” you teased and regretfully shook his head.
“No! I was too much of a coward! But we did start to get to know each a little after that, then soon enough we- and the other members- became really good friends. They admired your kindness and loved being around you, but I admired you just because you were you.
“It took almost two years to realize that I had fallen in love with you and once I did I knew that I had to ask you out before it was too late. So one day when we were watching a movie together at my place, I asked you out to which you miraculously said yes to and now we’re here,” he finished with a loving smile.
Seeing how much love Namjoon harbored for you made tears pool in your eyes as you smiled back at him.
“Now I really regret not being able to remember,” you said, wiping a stray tear away and taking a deep breath.
“Can you tell me more about our relationship?”
He smiled, “I would love to.”
~
Hours passed as Namjoon recalled everything about your relationship so far from first dates to your current ones. Trips you had taken with the band when they needed to film something and trips you had taken with Namjoon just because he wanted to take you somewhere. And just random facts about your relationship that Namjoon just wanted you to know.
He would’ve kept telling you stories if he didn’t catch your sleepy yawns becoming more frequent as time went on. He looked over at the clock that was sitting on your nightstand that read 12:37 am.
He smiled as he watched you lightly shook your head and gave him your full attention again. You noticed his smile which made you furrow your eyebrows in confusion.
“What?”
“I think it’s time for bed,” he said, getting up from the bed and moving to the closet to get an extra blanket and pillow.
“You’ve had a pretty exciting day, so you can sleep here, and I’ll take the couch, so you’ll be comfortable.”
You shook you’re head and walked over to him.
“It’s fine. You can stay here, and I’ll sleep on the couch,” you said, moving to grab the sleeping materials from him.
Namjoon moved his body to the side, blocking you from grabbing them as he shook his head.
You sighed, “This is all still pretty new to me and I think I would feel uncomfortable knowing that I’m making you sleep on the couch. I can sleep there tonight. It’ll be like I’m sleeping over at a friend’s.”
You stuck your hands out a little farther, motioning for him to give you the blanket and pillow, “Please?”
Namjoon looked at you for a moment, almost wanting to stubbornly say ‘no’, but who was he to argue with you.
He sighed and handed you the things, “As long as it’ll make you comfortable…”
“It will,” you smiled as you took both plush objects into your hold and walked out of his (your) room and made the couch.
Namjoon walked around the living room and turned off the lamps that you had turned on when you took a break from the stories he was telling you. The apartment became darker and quieter, but still had this peaceful ambience as the only light in the room was from the dim under-the-counter lights of the kitchen island.
“Do you want these off,” he asked as he moved toward the island, ready to turn them off at your word.
You shook your head as you moved the blanket and sat on the couch, “No, you can leave them on. I like the vibe they give.”
He nodded and started walking back to his room but looked back at you before entering. “Let me know if you need anything, okay?”
You nodded.
“I mean, anything. You can wake me up if something happens- actually I would prefer if you woke me up, alright?”
You giggled and gratefully nodded your head, “Okay! I understand. Thank you.”
He nodded, reassured that you’ll come to him if you need to.
“Alright,” he said, before turning to enter his room for the night.
“Goodnight, Namjoon!” He stopped and looked back at you just as you started to settle for sleep.
“Goodnight, Y/n/n.”

Stay Where You Are
Kim Namjoon x f!reader
Chapter 3 | Masterlist
A/N: AHHHHH!!!! Sorry I've been gone!!! It's been a LONG time since I've last updated this series and I feel so bad about it, so I'll do my best to keep updating on this series frequently because I really love it! Anyway, sorry for the wait, but I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Huh?! Did she just…”
Namjoon shook off the thought as he watched you carry Mochi and give him kisses. It sparked something in Namjoon, but he didn’t want to get his hopes up since knew you had said it absentmindedly.
You happily hugged Mochi a bit more before he started to wiggle in your hold, alerting you to put him down.
“I should get going,” Ha-rin started, “I have some errands to run before tomorrow, but I’ll make sure to visit every chance I get, okay?”
She walked over and gave you a hug before heading out the door. You and Namjoon both sighed and turned to each in silent questions of “what do we do now”.
A small, shy smile creeped onto his face as he cocked his head to the side, “Let me give you a bit of a tour.”
You nodded and followed him as he walked into the room Mochi came out of. You looked around and saw a metal shelf full of different kinds of pottery that had yet to be fired, bags of clay, a pottery wheel under the window by the right wall, and couch surrounded with some plants on the left.
Your eyebrows raised in surprise, “You do pottery?”
Smiling and walking up to the shelf holding the unfinished pottery pieces, you gazed at them in awe at how beautifully hand-crafted they were.
“No,” Namjoon chuckled and shook his head, “I tried my hand at pottery, but I wasn’t the best.”
He walked over to the shelf to stand next to you and reached for a piece of pottery, carefully turning it over in his hands whilst examining it.
“These were actually made by you.”
Your eyes widened slightly, “Really?”
Namjoon nodded, “Yep. You told me about how you’d been wanting to do pottery for the longest time. Once we moved in, we got the equipment for it and you’ve been making things ever since.”
You smiled, “Yeah, I remember thinking about wanting to learn, but I just brushed it off because I was busy.”
You both stood there in silence, looking at the pots on the shelves before Namjoon lightly tapped your shoulder to get your attention.
“Let me show the rest of the place, hmm?” You nodded as you both left the “studio” to look at the rest of the place that you now call home.
Walking around, Namjoon made some comments about the paintings and art pieces that were scattered around the complex, making sure you knew what they were, who made them and why he- and you- had them there. It was almost like you were at an art gallery and he was your tour guide.
It made you giggle a bit when he started talking about something else making him look at you with a confused smile, “What?”
You lightly shook your head, completely endeared by his expression, “Nothing! I just think it’s cute that you’re acting like a tour guide because we have so many art pieces in the apartment.”
He let his head drop as he smiled and loosely shook his head before looking back at you. “I’m glad I can make you happy.”
Namjoon then clapped his hands together, “Anyway! Through here is the master bedroom.”
He walked back to where the living room was and entered a doorway on the right that opened to a large white room with a similarly large white bed in the middle.
Walking into the room, the first thing you saw was the singular charcoal wall that that was behind the bed, but the more you looked around, the more it was just like the rest of the apartment.
There were contemporary paintings on the walls, some small sculptures scattered around on the tables that were in the room like nightstand and the dresser, and books.
Namjoon watched you from the doorway as you made your way around the bedroom, looking at the many knick knacks and books that you both placed together until you reached the nightstand on the left.
Something made you stop in your tracks and stare. A small, 4x6 picture frame that was sitting near the lamp on the table had caught your eye.
Picking it up and examining the photo that sat within, you realized it was one of you… and Namjoon.
It was black and white; kind of blurry and imperfect, but it captured both of you standing in front of a mirror. Both of you seemed off balance, his arms around your waist as he planted a sweet kiss on your cheek which made you laugh.
Namjoon loved looking at that picture because it brought him an intense feeling of happiness that you two were together.
“We’re together,” you looked over at him with furrowed brows.
But now…
“We’re dating?”
It’s almost bittersweet.

Let's Roll
Jung Hoseok x reader
Word Count: 0.5k
Masterlist
A/N: Jealousy is a disease, and I fear I have it... So, since I have to deal with the fact that I'll probably never be as lucky as some ARMYs, here's a blurb that I wrote to make me feel better ㅠㅠ... Enjoy!
Tumblr media
“WHOO,” the ARMYs around me screamed as J-hope finished his small speech after coming back on stage for the encore.
I smiled as I felt a couple taps on my arm that was currently resting on the metal barricade in front of me. I looked over to my friend, Mel, as she leaned over to make sure I heard her.
“Aren’t you glad that you agreed to come?”
I glanced over at J-hope, who was standing in front of the stairs to come down to the floor level to be with ARMY and nodded my head at her.
“Yeah, I’m glad I came! This concert’s insane,” I yelled to be able to be heard over the roar of thousands of fans as the rapper made his decent on the stairs to stand level with us on the floor.
“I think it’s about time to get on with the next song… but I think we need to warm up first,” he said as he looked to his right and then left at the ARMYs who stood at the barricades, shaking their hands and yelling to get his attention.
With one final glance at each side, he started to make his way over to the side that I was.
He got close enough to where ARMY reached out and held the hand that he extended towards his fans as he continued to walk along the barricade, passing many fans until he stood a couple feet to my left scanning the crowd. So many people were crowding me, extending their hands in order to get the chance to hold the idol’s hand.
I tried to keep to myself and rested my hands on the metal as I watched people fight over each other to grasp aimlessly at J-hope as he stopped in front of me. He looked around at the ARMY’s outstretched hands before his eyes settled on mine; the ones that were currently holding on to the barricade.
He met my eyes then looked down at my hands, then back at me almost in a silent question of “Where’s your hand?”.
My eyes widen and I pointed to myself in question.
He smiled and nodded, “I think we’re warmed up now.”
I stuck out my hand for him as if we were going to shake hands. He firmly but gently took a hold of my hand and stepped forward a bit more as we made eye contacted before he brought his mic up to his mouth.
“We have each other, and we make eye contact. There’s no one above us. There’s no one under us. Let’s roll,” he started the song, turned my hand to the side, brought it up to his lips and placed a kiss on the back before letting go and running up on stage once more.
ARMY erupted in loud cheers at the display of affection while I stood there with my mouth agape, genuinely confused on what just happened. I broke out of my reverie when I felt an elbow nudge my arm and turned to Mel, who was smiling like a maniac.
“Bet you’re really happy you came now, huh? I’m so jealous!”
I laughed at looked back at the idol on stage, “Yeah!”

Never Let You Go
Park Jimin x reader
Pt.1 | Pt. 2 | Pt. 3 - Masterlist
Word Count: 1.4k
Genre: Angst to Fluff
A/N: Here's the last part! Sorry it took so long, but I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
6 months. 6 months felt like nothing after returning from the US. Jin and Hobi were busy doing their own things like promotions, content for ARMY, writing and producing songs, and a frickin’ WORLD TOUR. So… Things got busy real quick since I came back, but it’s been a blast!
And now, it’s June and the rest of the members were scheduled to come back from their service soon. We (Jin, Hobi, and I) had already picked up Namjoon and Tae, but when I asked when the others were getting out, they refused to answer me which led to today…
“You promised me that we would get food and that’s what I’m expecting,” I said, crossing my arms and glaring at the members currently sitting in front of me in van. I slumped against the third-row seat of the van as I watched a couple of them smile. It was something that set me ill at ease.
“We will, we just need to stop somewhere first,” Jin said, prompting me to sigh and look out the window. I looked around at the buildings, when something caught my eye.
“You have to be kidding me,” I mumbled under my breath as we stopped by the gate to a military base. “I knew something fishy was happening when you didn’t tell me when the others were getting released.”
Tae snickered as they all started to undo their seatbelts and got out of the car, making me do the same.
“We knew that you wouldn’t have come if we didn’t,” Jin nudged me as we walked through the gate and to an open area with a few other families who were waiting for their sons too.
“You’re not wrong about that,” I muttered, crossing my arms. I watched as the surrounding families talked excitedly with one another before doubts started to creep in my head.
Should I even be here? What if…
“What if I make things awkward by being here?”
What if he doesn’t want me… here?
“Now, why would that happen,” Namjoon asked, making me turn toward him.
“Yeah,” Hobi started, “If anything, he should be the one that’s awkward. You did everything you could so you could mend the situation, and he ghosted you. It’s his fault, not yours, so keep your chin up!”
I sent a small smile his way as a thanks, but I still couldn’t shake the nervous feeling in my gut.
“I’m still nervous though.”
“And that’s okay,” Tae smiled and put a hand on my shoulder reassuringly. “You haven’t seen or talked to him in 2 years, it’s normal to feel nervous, but don’t feel that way just because he might be mad that you’re here. Jungkook is getting released today, so if he asks why you’re here, just say you’re here to support Jk!”
I squinted at Tae with a sly smile, “When did you get so wise?”
He chuckled and was about to say something before someone beat him to it, “It was all that time at the super cool base of his.”
We all turned to the voice and watched as Jungkook happily made his way over to us.
“Jaykay~” “Jin~”
I chuckled as the youngest and oldest pulled each other into a hug. I continued to watch the others take turns hugging the youngest before it was my turn. I smiled as he turned his attention to me and scooped me into a hug, spinning us around before setting me down.
“I missed you, Y/n/n! How was America,” he asked, giving me one last squeeze before pulling away.
“It was good! Kind of boring though, without you guys there, but I had fun,” I smiled.
“How was your time here,” I asked glancing at the building that stood a ways away from where we were.
He shrugged, “Eh. Fine, I guess. Don’t even get me started on Jimin.”
I tensed up, letting my nerves get the better of me.
“Speaking of,” Namjoon started, looking at the building Jungkook had come out of, “Where is he?”
Jk looked back, then turned to the group, “He said there was something he forgot to pack when we were starting to leave so… he should be joining us fairly soon.”
Speak of the devil and he shall appear because as soon as Jungkook finished his sentence, Jimin came walking out of the front doors.
I peaked around Jk’s arm and watched as he made his way over to us with a relieved smile. I was technically blocked by Jungkook, so I watched as Jimin gave some of the members that approached him a hug while striking up a conversation. I smiled fondly as I watched him joke around and happily laugh with the others while he was unaware of my presence behind Jungkook.
That was until said person made his way over to Jimin, leaving me to awkwardly stand out in the open, not sure what to do. I fiddled with my fingers as the group kept on talking before Jimin took a simple glance in my direction, effectively stopping what he was saying.
Anxiety started to run through me as he just… stared at me, with a blank expression.
He dropped his bags and started to slowly make his way towards me while my mind was racing, trying to come up with an excuse as to why I was here.
I nervously chuckled when he stopped in front of me- looking everywhere but him, “Hey… Just setting the record straight; the members tricked me into co-”
Jimin hurriedly wrapped his arms around me in a tight hug and buried his head in the crook of my neck- effectively catching me by surprise and making me freeze against his touch. My brows furrowed in confusion- not sure what was going on until he muttered something that I couldn’t quite catch. I hummed in question, prompting Jimin to repeat it.
“I’m so sorry.”
My eyes widened.
“I’m so sorry that I ghosted you. That I left you wondering what you did wrong. That I let you leave without giving you an explanation.”
Tears started to wet my shoulder as he cried. I finally wrapped my arms around his torso while letting the tears that were building up silently fall down my face as he continued.
“I read every single text you sent me when you were in the US and I should’ve texted back.”
“Why didn’t you,” I sobbed, tightly gripping the back of his shirt, “I always gave you the chance!”
“I know,” he pulled back, allowing me to see face. It was red and blotchy from the crying with tears still making their descent on his cheeks, but he still looked perfect.
“But I didn’t think I deserved to after what I said to you,” he continued. “We were about to enlist, and I wanted to push you away because I didn’t want it to be hard for you, but that didn’t work out like I wanted…”
I let out a humorless laugh as I brought my hands to his face to wipe tears.
“You dummy,” I gently smiled when he leaned into my touch.
“I know. That’s not an excuse and I’m really sorry. If you wanted nothing to do with me anymore; I get it. I wouldn’t want to be with me after that either.”
I shook my head. “Don’t think that! Would I have sent you a text nearly every day for two years if I didn’t want to be with you?”
“No,” he whispered.
I manually shook his head, earning a small smile.
“No, of course not! Though, you’re going to have to make it up, but I’m not that easy to let go.”
He shook his head as a fond smile graced his lips at my confession and wrapped me up in a hug again.
“I could never let you go,” he whispered, making me smile.
“Let’s go home, hmm?”
He pulled apart from the hug, looked me in the eyes and nodded, “Let’s go home.”
Bonus~
“So… how was Jimin during your service,” Jin asked Jungkook, who was accompanying the oldest in the front.
The maknae sighed, “He did great with the jobs he was given, but a lot of the time, he would talk about Y/n. He couldn’t even sleep that well.”
Jin chuckled, “That’s funny because Y/n/n also had trouble sleeping.”
Both of them smiled and peeked toward the back row of the van where the both of you sat. You had your head on Jimin’s shoulder while he rested his on top on yours, peacefully sleeping now that both of you had each other back.
“It’s kind of funny how they won’t admit that they need each other as much as they do,” Jungkook said, facing forward again, leaving you both to catch up on some much-needed sleep.

Never Let You Go
Park Jimin x reader
Word Count: 1.4k
Pt.1 | Pt. 2 | Pt. 3 -- Masterlist
Genre: Angst to fluff
A/N: Yo! Not gonna lie, I thought this was going to be the last part, but I guess there'll be one more! Haha! Anyways... Enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Hey, Chim! Though it’s the 12th here, it’s technically your birthday back home, so… Happy Birthday! I hope you’re doing well. Sorry I can’t be there for your birthday, but I did get you a gift so make sure to ask Hobi about that, lol! Anyways, stay safe and healthy. I love you!” Sent 8:07 am, October 12th, 2022.
“Congratulations on your Billboard #1!! I am so, incredibly proud of you!! I remember being with you when you were working on the album and all of those sleepless nights you spent in the studio and I’m so glad that your hard work is being recognized the way it should be! I also saw a performance of yours and you looked so cool! I’ll be rooting for you, fighting!!” Sent 12:42 pm, May 1st, 2023.
“Hey, I thought that I would send you message before you go into the military. I know you guys were dreading it, but it’ll pass in no time, so keep your head up! I texted the others to wish them luck in their service, too. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be there to see you off, but I’ll see you soon! Be safe, stay healthy, and do your best, which I know you always do! Good luck!” Sent 10:48 am, December 10th, 2023.
“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Jimin! I hope you’re well. How’s life been treating you so far? Are you excited for the new year? I been doing well over here. I definitely am a little homesick, but I’ve made some really nice friends over the year, so it’s been fun. I’ve talked to the others, and they said that you’ve been doing well so that’s a relief to hear, but I’d love to hear from you. I’ll be here for you, just send a text, okay? Miss you lots…” Sent 11:11 pm, January 2nd, 2024.
“Hey, Jimin. Uh… I’ll be coming home in a week. I’m excited to see you guys! I-”
I stopped typing I looked at the last text I sent.
“I miss you…" Sent December 25, 2024”.
It had been a week since I sent that, and it was still unread. I scrolled through all of the texts I sent throughout the two years since we had the argument and I had moved, making me heavily sigh.
I deleted what I was writing, figuring that I was starting to lose the energy to keep this up. I sat up and shook my head as I went back to packing my apartment up before going back home early next week. I really can’t believe him…
~
“Dude. I just got off the plane. I’m on my way to grab my bag. What do you need because you called me six times,” I asked as I approached the luggage carousel as bags started to appear.
“Oh, nothing! I just wanted talk to you,” Jin said happily and I could practically hear the smile in his voice.
I quietly chuckled and shook my head as I watched others take their luggage and waited to see my suitcase.
“Anyway, we sent a car over to pick you up from the airport, so be on the lookout for our driver, okay?”
I nodded, though he couldn’t see me and approached the carousel once I saw my bag making its round.
“That’s sweet, thanks- hold on,” I said, sliding my phone in my coat pocket before getting hold of the suitcase handle and hauling it out of the carousel. Standing it up and pulling the handle up, I started to walk toward the ‘ground transport’ area.
“Anyway, thank you! You didn’t have to do that. I could have ridden the bus home.”
“It was no problem at all! Actually Hobi wanted to make sure you got home safe, so the idea was mainly his.”
I smiled at the concern.
“Aww! Then I’ll make sure to thank him when I get home.”
I followed the crowd as I neared the doors and saw the line of cars outside. I looked around the area to see if I could spot their driver, Mr. Choi, and a man holding a sign with my name written on it with Hobi’s handwriting. I laughed at how unreadable it was, but approached him nonetheless.
Mr. Choi bowed in greeting as I smiled and he led me outside to where the car was stationed. “I should let you go. I found you driver and I’ll be heading home. I’ll stop by to see you you and Hobi tomorrow, okay?”
“Okay! See you soon, bye~” Jin sang before he hung up.
We approached the car and Mr. Choi grabbed my bag to put in the back as the side door of the black van opened and I got in and took a seat on the left side, behind the driver’s seat.
Once situated and Mr. Choi started the car, I turned on my phone and opened Hobi’s contacted as I started typing a ‘thank you’ for sending a car to get me before a voice in the front seat interrupted me.
“So, how was your trip?”
My head shot up as I saw Jin back with a smirk on his face.
I gasped, “You came to pick me up!?” I brought my hands up to cover my mouth in surprise while he laughed and nodded.
“Yeah… I wasn’t the only one that wanted to see you…”
He glanced to the side and raised his eyebrows, hinting at something. My brows furrowed before I heard a happy “Hey, Y/n” from the back seat, making me whip my head at the voice to see Hobi sitting behind me.
“Hobi,” I happily squealed as he made his way forward and into the seat next to mine. I reached over and gave him an excited hug, happy that two of my friends came to pick me up.
“I was just going to text you! How are you guys?”
Hobi buckled him self in as the car started to move, “Good! We wanted to come surprise you.”
I smiled, looking between both of them, “Thank you, that’s sweet! How was that military, by the way?”
They both groaned, which made me chuckled as it reminded me how much the dreaded enlisting.
“Ugh! It was boring and I couldn’t do anything I wanted,” Jin whined.
“Yeah, and I missed the members and ARMY,” Hobi agreed and I nodded.
“Well, you certainly didn’t change at all,” I said.
“Of course we wouldn’t. It was just work we needed to do, but you,” Jin drawed out, pointing a finger at me and gestured to my hair, “Certainly have!”
“Yeah, you look different,” Hobi joined. I playfully rolled my eyes, “It’s just a different hair cut, guys. It’s nothing.”
Jin hummed skeptical, “Was this little decision because of a certain someone?”
Knowing he was talking about Jimin, I sighed and fell back in my seat, “No. It was just something I wanted to try out.”
Hobi’s eyes softened as he looked at me, “Did you ever get to talk to him about what happened?”
I looked down at my hands resting on my lap and sadly shook my head. “No,” I sighed, thinking of everything I did trying to get him to talk to me. “Looking back, I, maybe, tried too hard to get him to talk to me.”
“He wouldn’t talk to us about the situation either,” Hobi, stated as he sunk into his seat.
Jin crossed his arms and disappointedly shook his head in the front seat, “Yeah. He wouldn’t budge anytime one of brought up that he should, at least, talk about what happened.”
A sad smile graced my lips briefly before I rolled my eyes, emotionally exhausted by this whole situation.
“Maybe I should've given up the first time he said that we were over,” I mumbled as I turned to look outside the window and watch the cars pass.
“Listen, he could still come around. Jimin comes out of the military in June,” Hobi tried to look at the positives.
“Mhm. And if he doesn’t talk to you, we’ll hold it over him for the rest of his days,” Jin said, nodding securely as if that was the final decision.
I chuckled quietly and nodded at their statements, though I wasn’t sure how true they would reign. Would Jimin want to talk after the military? Could this be fixed or am I fooling myself?
I sighed, “I guess we’ll see…”

Never Let You Go
Park Jimin x reader
Pt. 1 | Pt. 2 | Pt. 3 -- Masterlist
Word Count: 0.9k
Genre: Angst to Fluff
A/N: What's up! I finally got around to writing this fic again after a few months. I figured that if I didn't write this now, I probably would never finish and I really wanted to write this since forever ago. Anyway, here's part one and I'll post part two whenever I'm done, which could be in an hour or a couple days *shrug*. Enjoy tho!
Tumblr media
“I can’t believe you said that,” Jimin yelled as we walked into the living room.
“Are you seriously getting upset with the fact that I had told you that I thought you looked a little unwell at the shoot today,” I calmly asked, following him into the room.
“Yes! Especially when you just had to let the entire staff know about it too!”
“Anybody would’ve brought it up. Jimin, I was just concerned about you,” I tried to reason, but he spun around and looked at me with a furious face.
“You were concerned!? Why don’t you worry about yourself for a change?”
“How can I, when I know you haven’t been sleeping or eating well recently?”
The tension was starting to build in the room the longer we stood there in silence. Jimin was silently fuming and anyone could see it on his face. I was trying my best to stay calm and defuse the situation, but anything I said seemed to make him angrier until…
“Well, maybe you should worry about not being in this relationship anymore.”
“What…” I quietly asked as all the blood rushed out of my face in shock.
“Guys, maybe we should calm down,” Namjoon said calmly.
“No, I'm done!”
“Chim… you don’t actually mean that,” I tried as tears started welling up in my eyes.
“Yeah. I do,” he huffed before storming out of the living room, toward his room.
The tears slowly escaped from my eyes as I watched him angrily close the door behind him.
“Oh, Y/n…” I looked to the side and finally realized that the other members had been sitting in the living room, listening to our fight.
“He didn’t mean that,” Namjoon tried to reason as he hugged me from the side and rubbed my arm soothingly.
“Yeah, you know how he can get when he’s mad. Just give him some time to cool down,” Tae spoke up from the couch.
I sadly nodded as Namjoon gave me a squeeze before guiding me to the couch and letting me join them in whatever they were watching.
~
Sadly, it seemed like he didn’t calm down. I tried knocking on his door over the next week when I went over so we could talk, but he told me to leave or just simply wasn’t there. I tried texting him, asking if we could talk about the fight, but they always went unread.
The worst thing about it was that I was supposed to leave to work in the States for a couple years, next week. I did my best to get him to talk, I even had some of the members try to talk to him about the fight so I could see where he was, but he dismissed the topic as soon as they brought it up.
Which brought us to today…
“Please let us know when you land, okay,” Jungkook said as he gave me a hug.
We were standing in the driveway of their house because they wanted to see me before I left for the airport. Well… all except one.
My eyes were darting around the group and the windows to see if I could spot a glimpse of Jimin before I left, but he was nowhere to be found.
Namjoon walked up to me, “We all told him that he should, at least, say bye before you left…”
“He’s an idiot,” Yoongi chimed in, making me chuckle at his bluntness before continuing, “We’ll make sure to tear him a new one when we see him.”
The guys nodded in agreement, making me smile at how much they cared about me.
“It’s fine! Though if you could convince him to talk with me about this situation that we’re in, I would really appreciate it,” I said, looking around the group with a small smile.
“We will definitely do that,” Hobi said with his reassuring smile.
“...After we tear him a new one,” Tae added in, completely serious.
I smiled and nodded, “Thank you. I’ll try to reach him as soon as I get situated in my new place, but I won’t expect him to reply.”
“We’re right behind you,” Namjoon assured.
I sighed, “Thank you and good luck in the military! I’m sorry I won’t be around to see you guys off individually. I really wanted to.”
Jin waved me off, “No worries! We’ll see you when you come back, just be safe.”
He opened his arms and I happily slotted myself between them, giving him the last hug for a while. Some of the others cooed and gathered around for a group hug.
“I’m gonna miss you, guys.”
“We’ll miss you, too,” they said and kept hugging for a bit before stepping back to let me go.
I sighed, “Stay safe and healthy. I’ll be back to pick you up when you’re done.”
They nodded before I sighed one more time and started slowly backing away from them and to the car waiting for me.
“Love you guys! Take care while I’m gone!”
“Love you too!”
~
Once I landed I texted the group to let them know that I got there safely and that they should take care of themselves while I’m gone. I took a cab over to the apartment I would be staying in for the next two years that I was going to be here and started to get situated as soon as I stepped inside.
After a bit of unpacking, I took out my phone once I took a break to lay on my bed and opened Jimin’s contact.
Sighing, I typed out, “Hey, I made it safely to my new place! It’s really nice here, but it’s nothing like being home. I would love it if we could talk soon. I miss you a lot… <3”.
I turned the phone off and let it drop to my side, hoping that he would come around soon.

Did We Forget...
OT7 x f!reader
Word Count: 2.1k
Genre: Angst
A/N: Heyyyy... I'm finally back from the dead! Turns out being busy and having writers block is definitely not a fun combo, but I wanted to finish this since I started it last year on my birthday. Anyway, I hope you enjoy and happy new years!!
Masterlist
Tumblr media
“Happy Birthday, Y/n!” Your parents exclaimed.
It probably wasn’t too late over in the States where they were right now, but it was really early in the morning in Korea and they claimed that they needed to call you ‘as soon as possible’.
You sleepily smiled at them, “Thanks, you guys! But… you do know that it’s 5 am over here right? I don’t have to get up until later and now you guys woke me up.”
“Well, why did you pick up then,” your dad teased.
You deadpanned, “Because mom ingrained it in me that I can’t not pick up a call from you guys, or she would have my head.”
Mom shook her head, “I never said that.”
“It’s implied, Mom!” You chuckled when she let out a frustrated huff.
“Anyway, thank you for the birthday wishes! I’m coming home for New Year’s, don’t forget! We can do something then, okay?”
They nodded.
“Yep, we’ve got your room ready and we’ll be picking you up from the airport. All you have to do is let us know where you are,” Mom said.
You hummed in agreement.
“Oh! Are you going to spend the day with the boys? Are they going to take you somewhere special,” Dad asked.
You laughed, “Yeah, I plan on spending the day with them seeing as I don’t have any work to do until I come back from my trip, but I don’t think they have a special event planned.”
“Okay well, don’t party too hard with them! Have fun, be safe and we’ll see you when you visit.”
You fondly smiled, “You got it! Love you guys!”
“Love you,” they said in unison before waving goodbye, then hanging up.
You sighed as you locked your phone and let it drop on the bed before shifting in bed trying to get comfortable so you could go back to sleep.
~
KNOCK! KNOCK!
You scrunched your face at the sound of light knocking and groaned as you stretched before pulling the blanket over your shoulders and rolled over on your side, trying to go back to sleep.
You didn’t get very far until another round of soft knocking woke you up once more before the door slowly creaked open.
“Y/n,” Jungkook whispered. You sleepily hummed, peeking an eye open to look at him.
“Jin told me to let you know that breakfast is almost ready.”
“Okay, I’ll be down there in a sec,” you croaked out.
He nodded and closed the door, leaving you to wake up on your own, so you stretched once again to get rid of the sleep from your body before reaching up to grab your glasses off of the nightstand. You sat up, moved the blanket off of you and placed your feet on the floor. With a yawn and one final stretch, you stood up and made your way to the bathroom.
Once you were done, you started down towards the kitchen and upon reaching the bottom of the steps, there was a delicious smell wafting through the air. You walked over to the kitchen to see Jin hovering over the stove before picking the pan up and plating its contents. You took a seat at the island as Jin turned around and placed a plate of (y/f/f) in front of you.
“Tada! Breakfast is served,” Jin said, taking a towel off of the oven handle, wiping his hands clean.
You looked down at the food and then at Jin, smiling. “Ooh~ my favorite! What’s the occasion?”
He shrugged as you took a bite of food, melting at the familiar taste. “I figured since you haven’t gotten to eat it in a while and all of us really like it so… I would go ahead and make it!”
You stopped for a second.
Just because? Did he-
You lightly shook your head at the thought.
You tried again, “So, that’s the only reason? Nothing special?”
He shook his head as he looked at you. “Nope, why? Should there be another reason to make this?”
You shook your head, breathing out a laugh before giving him a smile.
“Nope! Thank you for the food, Jin,” you said, before going back to eating.
You finished the food a while after Jin had left the kitchen. You thought it was interesting that he didn’t seem remember your birthday considering that he was excited for it a few weeks back.
Maybe he’ll ‘remember’ later, you thought as you washed the dish and put it on the rack to dry.
When you were done with that, you looked over to the living room to find Jimin, Hobi, Tae, and Yoongi sitting on the couches scrolling through their phones. You walked up to where Hobi and Jimin were sitting and placed your hands on the back of the couch resulting in a soft pat sound.
Hobi lifted his head. “Oh hey, Y/n,” he said with a smile.
You looked at him and saw that he was dressed up; still casual, but better than sweats, so you looked around the room at each of them and saw that they were dressed the same, fancy but still casual.
“Are you guys going out,” you asked, hinting that they had at least put some thought into what they were wearing instead of the sweats you had gotten used to over that past few days.
Jimin breathed out a chuckle and shook his head, “Nah. We’ve just got practice in bit.”
“Oh yeah! That reminds me,” you turned over to Namjoon, who was adjusting his coat as he made his way over to where you and the guys were, “We’ll have practice until 5 and we have a company meeting and dinner after that, so we won’t be home until late, okay?”
Oh.
You plastered a smile on your face and nodded as Jin and Jungkook came into the room, prompting the others to get up from where they were sitting.
“Yeah, that’s fine. You guys go… be great or whatever you do,” you force a laugh, giving Jungkook a light nudge on his arm, hoping to hide your slight disappointment.
Might’ve worked too well as they laughed and started heading out.
“We’ll see you when we get back,” Yoongi turned to me.
You nodded, “Okay. Have fun! Be safe! Work hard!”
You waved good-bye to them as you watched them file into the black SUVs and drive away from the house. You sadly sighed at the thought that they forgot but decided to make the most of it while you still felt like it. So, you went back upstairs, got ready, shrugged on a jacket and went out to who-knows-where.
~
Turns out that spending a day by yourself on your birthday was get a little tiring after a while. You sighed as you plopped down on a random park bench, letting the shopping bags fall on the ground next to your legs. Though it was late December, there wasn’t any snow on the ground due to the weather being weirdly warm, which just created slush and puddles.
You rolled up the sleeve of jacket and stared down at the watch as its hands ticked just passed 5 o’clock.
“They should be done with practice now,” you quietly muttered and dug into the coat pocket, pulling out your phone and checking if the members texted.
I wonder if they remembered yet?
Looking through the notifications, none of their names showed up, giving you your answer.
You sadly nodded as disappointment started to seep in before putting your phone back into its hiding place and grabbing the bags as you stood up and started to walk back home. As you drew closer to home, you stopped by the convenience store and picked up a slice of cake and a box of candles, hoping that maybe the members would remember before the day was over so you could celebrate together.
Once home, you set all the bags in your room then remembered the slice you had bought and quietly made your way to the kitchen to put the cake in the fridge, then plopped down on the couch and put on a movie as you waited for the boys to come home. Slowly, your eyelids started to feel heavy and as you tried your best to stay awake, the tiring day finally got to you as you let your eyes close.
You didn’t start to stir until the sound of shuffling made its way to your ears. Opening one eye to peak around at what was happening, you saw the members filing into the house one by one. You sat up immediately and rubbed the sleep from your eyes as you looked at the time on your phone.
11:45.
“How was your day, you guys,” you yawned out the question, getting up from the couch and stretching.
“Tiring,” Jin said as he walked passed you towards his room.
“Yeah, we’ll probably just head to bed,” Hobi said with a tired smile.
You sent back a small but warm smile and nodded in understanding,
“Yeah, of course. Good night.”
There was some tired muttering of ‘good night’s from the others as they passed by and a small nod from Yoongi as they quietly made their ways to their respective rooms, turning off the kitchen light therefore leaving you to stand in the dark alone. You looked at the time on your phone and knew that they weren’t going to come out anymore.
So… they didn’t remember after all?
You walked over to the fridge and pulled out the slice of cake, carrying it to the counter and setting it down before opening a drawer and taking out a candle and lighter.
Sticking the candle in the center of the cake, you took the lighter and lit it. You stared at the tiny flame, putting my hands together as you made a wish before quickly blowing out the candle and placing it back in the fridge while the clock struck midnight.
~
“Are you sure you have everything,” Yoongi asked as Jungkook handed you the carry-on bag and backpack.
You nodded, “Yep! I should be all set.”
You looked around the group before your eyes settled on Taehyung.
“I’m sorry that I won’t be able to make it to your birthday dinner tonight,” you sadly smiled.
He waved you off, “Don’t worry about it! You can’t exactly control flight times and I know you are dying to see your family. Oh, and thank you for the gift.”
You took a few steps towards him and pulled him into a hug to which he happily reciprocated.
“Of course! And there’s also a slice of cake I bought in the fridge for you, if you want,” you said, pulling away from the hug in order to say bye to the rest of them, seeing as you won’t be back until the New Year.
“I should get going,” you said, taking the luggage in your hand as you started to slowly back away from the group.
“I’ll be back in a week! Happy New Years, you guys!”
“Be safe!” “Take care, Y/n/n!” “Bye!” The members waved as they watched you turn around and walk toward your gate.
There was this feeling that Jimin had that he couldn’t seem to shake as he watch you disappear into the crowd of people.
“Guys… I feel like we’re forgetting something.”
“What do you mean? Y/n said she had everything,” Taehyung commented as he placed a hand on Jimin’s shoulder.
The latter shook his head, “No. I think we’re forgetting something.”
The members looked around as if trying to retrace their steps. “We dropped off Y/n. Later, we’re going to dinner for Tae’s birthday,” Namjoon listed off as something seemed to collectively click in their brains.
“Did we forget,” Jungkook started.
“Y/n’s birthday,” Hobi finished the thought, and everyone’s eyes widened in realization.
Oh no…

Stay Where You Are
Kim Namjoon x f!reader
Chapter 2 | Masterlist
A/N: Heyy! Here's the second chapter! I might start putting an author's note at the end of chapters too... I'm not sure yet... but just beware. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“What,” Namjoon whispered as he felt his heart drop to his stomach and the blood drain from his face.
“Have we met before,” you asked again, looking between your best friend and this new person.
“Y/n…” Ha-rin took a few slow steps toward you, “What year is it?”
You furrowed your brows and thought for a moment, trying to recall anything that would give you a clue as to what year it was before you let out a wary, “2018…?”
Everybody’s eyebrows shot up in surprise while you were still confused, but Namjoon felt like he had been shot.
That’s… before we met, he thought, trying to wrap his mind around it.
The nurse had been asking you some follow-up questions regarding anything that might steer them in the direction of you subconsciously knowing what year it really was.
Current TV shows.
Newly released movies and music.
Anything about the government, but everything you listed off as being “new” happened in 2018.
The nurse smiled and nodded before she told you to sit tight and led Ha-rin and Namjoon out into the hallway before closing the door, leaving you oblivious to their conversation.
“So,” the nurse started, clearing her throat to figure out how to say what she wanted, “It seems that her amnesia is a lot more severe than we initially thought. I’ll notify the doctor about it to see what he would like to do, but we’ll probably send her home either way since there’s not much we can do besides wait as she slowly regains her memory.”
The two nodded before Namjoon spoke up.
“Do you know how long it’ll take for her to get all of her memory back?”
The nurse hummed in thought, “It’s hard to say since it varies from person to person, but this type of amnesia could last a few weeks, months, or years.”
Namjoon felt his heart rate quicken in fear at the thought that you might never remember him.
His mind started to race as sad thoughts started to flood in until the nurse spoke up once again.
“Also… Be careful when telling her current information, we don’t want to shock her too much, okay?”
Your two friends nodded in acknowledgement as the nurse smiled.
“Alright! Then let us finish some paper work so she can go home.”
~
“I’m so ready to go home,” you yawned as the three of you walked out of the hospital and across the parking lot to Namjoon’s car.
You headed for the passenger’s side and opened the door while the other two looked at each other over the car, knowing that they were going to have to tell you before climbing into the driver’s seat and back seat respectively.
“Um… Y/n/n,” Ha-rin asked as Namjoon started the car and pulled out of the parking lot.
You hummed in question and Ha-rin continued slowly, “You do know that it’s not 2018, right?”
You nodded and chuckled, “I figured, with all of the confused looks everyone gave to me in the room.”
“Yeah. Well, you moved out of your old apartment.”
Your eyes widened, pleasantly surprised that you had moved out of your “current” apartment. It wasn’t that your apartment wasn’t good because it was. It was just small, a ‘starter place’ as you liked to call it.
You wondered if you would ever move out, but didn’t think it would ever happen so it was only natural that you were a little curious about where you moved.
“Really? Where to,” you asked turning your body slightly to the left so you can look between Namjoon and Ha-rin.
The former looked a you from the corner of his eye and lightly cleared his throat.
“Um… With me.”
You were taken aback at his statement, mouth opening in a surprise “oh”.
You had the chance to “meet” Namjoon back in the hospital as the nurses were finishing your discharge papers and you grew to really like him. He seemed really sweet and caring (not to mention, good looking), but you couldn’t help but wonder what your relationship was.
So when he said that you lived together, the first thought that popped into your head was, “Oh! We’re roomates?”
You watched as he let his head drop as he let out a chuckle before turning his attention back on the road with a sad smile on his lips, “Yeah, something like that.”
Your eyebrows drew together in confusion about what he meant by that, but you ultimately decided not to question it and focused on the passing scenery as you went home.
~
“You’ve got to be kidding me. This isn’t real,” you gawked, walking through the entrance into the apartment that you ‘supposedly’ lived in.
Everything looked… classy.
The white walls with paintings, that probably costed a fortune, hung around the room, pieces of pottery scattered around on tables here and there, and small plants giving the room life.
You had only seen the kitchen and living room since coming from the hallway where you put your shoes and it already looked like an art museum; you could only imagine what the rest of the place looked like.
“There is no way I live here. This place looks like it costs more than I can make in my life.”
The other two laughed as you gaped at the apartment you live in until there was a small meow that broke you out of your trance. Looking to the room to the left of the living room, a fluffy calico cat came walking up to you with a happy meow before rubbing his head against your leg.
You smiled as you knelt down to pet the familiar animal.
“Mochi! You’re so big,” you cooed as the cat purred.
So enthralled on how your, seemingly, “newly” rescued cat was already so big, you didn’t quite register what you said next.
“You know, I didn’t think you were a cat person. I would’ve thought Yoongi was more of one.”

“Ah, this is so nice,” you sighed as you stretched your arm over your head. A breeze rustled the midsummer leaves as you and Namjoon walked through a nearby park.
“And you didn’t want to get up,” he teased while letting out a chuckle which made you glare at him.
“You tried waking me up at 7:30! Of course I didn’t want to get up!”
He laughed at your dramatics before taking your hand in his.
“But this is still nice. The cool breeze. The calm, quiet atmosphere. You,” he said, squeezing you hand a bit to convey a bit more emotion in the statement.
You turned toward him just to see him turn his gaze away from you as a light blush started to settle on his cheeks.
“You got embarrassed, didn’t you,” you smiled and teased him, knowing that he usually did when he said something cheesy while trying to be romantic.
You laughed as he turned his head away, basically confirming your question.
You leaned closer and held his bicep in a little hug, “Don’t worry, I thought it was cute. And I agree. It’s nice being here with you, too.”
You settled into relaxed conversation as you continued walking with no real destination in mind, just enjoying the scenery and each other’s company when something caught your eye.
You let go of you hold on Namjoon as you walked a few feet ahead and looked down at the sidewalk, much to his confusion. Sure enough, the thing that caught your eye was laying on the cement by you feet.
A cicada.
You bent down to pick the little creature and brushed your finger against one of its legs to try and wake it up. You smiled once it slowly started to move. Turning it rightside up, you walked back to Namjoon so show him what you found.
“Joonie, look!”
You moved the hand that had the cicada closer to him so he could see, but he moved away with furrowed brows.
“Y/n/n! What the- why are you holding it?!”
You rolled eyes as you brought it closer to you to look at it. “Calm down, it’s just a cicada. It’s not going to kill you.”
Watching it just stand on you hand, you placed it on your shirt since you figured that it just needed to warm up a bit before leaving.
Namjoon looked, almost disgusted, at the cicada just sitting on your shirt making you laugh. “What? Don’t you hold crabs?”
“Yeah, crabs. Not bugs.”
You deadpanned as you started to walk again, “Dude. A cicada’s not going to hurt you. Worst thing that happens is that it makes a little noise.”
Namjoon walked with you, but at a distance that was almost laughable.
“Yeah, but it’s- ugh… a bug. How can you hold it?”
You chuckled as you grabbed the little guy in your hand again once it start moving a bit more.
“When I was younger, a teacher of mine would make us hold any cicada we found on our walks. When we didn’t want to, she would ask us how we would overcome life’s problems if we couldn’t overcome the fear of holding a little bug. So over time, we looked forward to grabbing any cicada we came across.”
Namjoon hummed as he watched the cicada walk around your palm and pondered about what you said.
“Anyway, are you ready,” asked, closing you hand around your little friend.
“For what,” Namjoon asked, confused.
“Watch,” you said as you threw the cicada into the air and watched as it flew away.
“You know… I could learn something from you. Maybe I should start holding them, too,” he suggested, once you both started walking again.
You looked at him and nodded, “Yeah! Plus, it’s a pretty cool skill to have so you can freak out your friends.”
He laughed, “Yeah. Then, I guess I’ll start trying.”
You smiled.
“Perfect! Then we can start now,” you said as you bent down to pick up another cicada and offered it to him.
It gave him pause before he shook his head, “Nevermind! I’ll try later.”
You threw the cicada into the grass and held his hand, “That’s okay. You can start whenever you like. There’s no rush.”

Stay Where You Are
Kim Namjoon x f!reader
Chapter 1 | Masterlist
A/N: Hi and welcome to my new series!! I've been dying to start writing this, but I told myself that I needed to finish Adventure of a Lifetime first and now that it's done... Anyway, just like before, there won't be a set updating schedule, so I'll post whenever I'm done with a chapter. I hope you enjoy it!
Tumblr media
Beep… Beep… Beep…
You slowly start to open your eyes at the sound of beeping next to where you were laying. Looking around the dark room, you squint at the heart monitor as your blurry vision started to clear. Realizing where you are, you quickly sat up which made your head spin and a sharp pain run through your ribs.
You instinctively grab your side as you cough and wince at the pain. While trying to remember what had gotten you to the hospital, an attending nurse opened the door and walked into the room for a routine check-up just to notice that you’re up.
Her eyes widen slightly in disbelief, “Oh, you’re up! How are you feeling?”
You furrowed your eyebrows as you opened your mouth to speak, but nothing came out. The nurse gave a small smile.
“Don’t force yourself, sweetheart. You’ve been through a lot.”
You nodded as you watched her look at the monitor and write some things down on the clipboard before turning to you.
“We don’t want to overwhelm you since you just woke up, but do you remember anything from your accident?”
You racked your brain to see if you could recall anything that happened that would end you up in the hospital, but all there was were flashes of memories.
Closing your eyes to try and pinpoint what exactly happened, all you got was incoherent yelling, the sound of rain hitting the pavement, and a car horn with a bright flash before pain shot through your head, making you hold it with a pained groan.
“It’s okay,” she said softly, “I’ll call your emergency contacts to let them know you’re up. They should arrive shortly. Until then, get some rest.”
You nodded as you watched her walk out of the room and into the hallway before you laid back down and let out a sigh.
~
“Y/n! How are you feeling,” Ha-rin all but ran into the room and over to me.
She grabbed my hand and held it to her chest as she waited for me to answer. I cleared my throat before letting out a raspy, “Fine.”
She sighed a breath of relief, “You scared us. Everyone was so worried about you.”
I gave her a sad smile, “I’m sorry I made you worry. I don’t think I had ‘end up in the hospital’ on my list last night.”
She furrowed her brows as she gave me confused look. “Y/n… your accident happened two weeks ago.”
Your eyes widened in shock.
Two weeks!? I’ve been unconscious for two weeks?
You slowly nodded at the realization of everything you must’ve missed while you were unknowingly in the hospital.
There was a knock on the door that pulled you from the impending downward spiral you were about to go down at the thought of what you had missed. Looking over to the door, the doctor walked in with a smile of his face.
“How are you feeling, Ms. Y/n?”
“I’m okay.”
He looked at some papers on his clipboard before looking back at you.
“It looks like all of vitals are stable. You do seem to have some amnesia, but that’s pretty common when you suffer this kind of trauma. Other than that, your wounds seem to be healing fine so if you don’t have any concerns, you should be discharged soon.”
Sighing in relief, you nodded at the doctor’s words as he rounded the hospital bed to look at the monitor while you went back to talking with Ha-rin.
The sound of faint, but hurried footsteps could be heard from the hallway as Namjoon ran up to the receptionist desk.
“Hi,” he said as he tried his best to catch his breath, “I’m here to see Y/n L/n.”
The secretary looked up and immediately recognized him from the amount of times he’s come through to visit you.
She smiled, “Okay. I’ll just have you fill this out.”
She placed a clipboard and pen on top of the counter in from of him. He quickly took the pen and skimmed the paper he had filled out so many times. Once he was done, he slid it back to the receptionist before walking to your room with haste.
Passing by the other rooms, he took note of the names and numbers by the doors just in case they had moved you. Looking at the plaque by the familiar door, he read “Room 613, Y/n L/n”.
Peeking into the room, Namjoon felt relief wash over him as he saw that you were standing up and talking with the nurse.
Having his feet take him to you, he was overjoyed that you were seemingly okay.
“Y/n/n, I’m so glad that you’re alright, “ he said before pulling you into a warm and careful embrace.
Your eyes widened in slight surprise at the hug. Namjoon pulled away, but still made sure to keep his hands on you because he was afraid that something would happen if he let go.
“I was so scared that I had lost you. Are you okay,” he asked while eyeing you up and down, checking for anything that the doctors might have missed, but everything seemed to be taken care of.
You smiled.
“I’m alright. Thank you for your concern…” you drawed out as your smile slowly faded into a slightly confused expression.
“I’m sorry, but… do I know you?”

Adventure of a Lifetime
Kim Taehyung x reader
Epilogue | Masterlist
Tumblr media
I sighed as I poked my key into the doorknob and unlocked the door to my apartment before stepping inside and turning on the light.
“Congratulations!”
I jumped at the loud pops of the confetti canons before my eyes fully adjusted and finally realized who was standing in the living room.
Taehyung and the other members were standing around the living room with small gift bags and a banner that read ‘Congrats’ on it. Tae placed the cake he was holding on the coffee table. I looked around, confused.
“What are you guys doing here and how did you get inside my apartment?”
Tae smiled brightly and flashed the spare key I had given him the first day I moved to Korea.
“We’re here to congratulate you on the getting the job,” Jimin said happily. I placed my stuff down on the kitchen island and chuckled.
“How do you know I got the job? I just did an interview earlier today,” I said as they gathered around, setting the cake in front of me.
“Well… when you work in the building someone’s applying to, word gets around quickly,” Namjoon said.
“Plus, Taehyung asked the department manager that you had the interview with, if you got the job,” Yoongi shrugged, making me look at Tae with a deadpan expression.
“You’re kidding, right,” I asked.
He just chuckled and put his arms around me from behind, leaning on me, “Well, I wanted to know if I should throw you a party.”
I sarcastically smiled, “Thanks… but next time, let’s wait on the party until after I know.” The guys chuckled as I remembered the cake on the table.
“Oh! We can have cake if you want. You’ll just need to grab the stuff,” I said, directing them to where the knives, plates, and silverware were so we could eat the cake.
After serving ourselves, we sat around the living room talking about what new things they were working on and fun stories that had happened throughout the week. As the night went on, the members started to slowly leave because of the things they had to do the next day until it was just me, Tae and Jimin.
“I should probably get going,” Jimin said while standing up and stretching.
I got up and walked over to him, giving him a hug. “Thank you for coming!”
He happily gave one back. “Of course! Oh, and that one’s from me,” he said, pointing to a little yellow gift bag with white tissue paper, sitting on the coffee table.
I nodded and turned back to him just in time to catch the small wink he sent to Tae.
“Thank you,” I said as he opened the door and walked out.
I closed the door behind him before turning to Tae while crossing my arms.
“What was that about,” I asked, raising a questioning eyebrow.
He responded with a slightly nervous chuckle then lightly clearing his throat.
“Let’s go for a walk.”
~
We walked over to a nearby lake that was lined with cherry blossom trees and street lamps casting them in a calming glow. I pulled my jacket a little closer when the cold breeze swept in.
“It’s cold! Why did you want to go on a walk anyway?”
He stopped walking which made me stop and turn to him as he brought out a small box from his pocket.
My eyes widened, “Please tell me you’re not proposing. We haven’t even discussed marriage yet and I don’t think I’m ready-” His chuckle made me stop rambling enough so that he could talk.
“Calm down, Y/n/n. I’m not proposing yet,” he said, opening the small box to reveal a beautiful rose gold ring with three small pink flowers on the band.
Definitely, the furthest thing from an engagement ring, but still special nonetheless.
“I know you’ve been eyeing this for a while, so I’ve been saving this for the right occasion. This is my gift to you for getting the job and…”
He drawed out as he carefully took the ring out of the box before putting it back in his pocket and gently taking hold of my right hand.
“Kind of like… a promise ring. From me to you,” he said as he slipped it onto my ring finger.
“We don’t have to get married in the near future or in ten years, but the time we’ve spent together has been the happiest of my life and I just know that I want to be with you for as long as you’ll let me.”
A smile graced my lips as I just stared at him in adoration before I nodded, “I would love that.”
He smiled before leaning in and placing a chaste kiss on my lips. He took my hand in his as we started to walk back to the apartment.
“You know… now that we’re basically stuck together, we should talk about getting married,” Tae said, happily swinging our joined hands.
I snorted out a laugh, “Slow down, let’s get some sleep first. We can talk about this another time, hmm?”
“I can’t wait,” he said with a loving smile.

Adventure of the Lifetime
Kim Taehyung x reader
Chapter 16 | Masterlist
A/N: Welcome to the finale! Thank you so much for coming along on this little adventure with me! I originally thought that this would only be 7 chapters, but I might've gotten a little carried away *laughs*. And sorry for updating so late, writer's block is definitely not fun, but I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Can you believe it’s already time to go home,” Y/s/n said while darting around the room, grabbing her things to place in her suitcase.
I sighed, folding my clothes and placing them in my bag, “I know… A lot of stuff has happened during our stay, but I’m really gonna miss it here.”
I looked around, trying to see if there was anything else I needed to pack before zipping up the suitcase.
I dusted my hands while looking at my work and decided to do a final walk-through in case I forgot something, so walking into the living room I looked around while I tidied up the section of couch I slept on. Patting the pillows, I sighed before walking over to the kitchen in case I left something there.
I walked around the kitchen island and looked at the counters, not noticing anything that belonged to me. I nodded as I started for the kitchen opening before Jeong-Gyu walked in.
His face seemed to brighten for a second going back to neutral.
“Hey… can we talk for a sec?”
I nodded as I leaned on the island which he mirrored.
“Listen,” he sighed before continuing, “I’m sorry. I was an idiot.”
“Yep,” I said, not wanting to beat around the bush on that one.
“I know it was a jerk move. I just had my feelings confused and I was upset that you were spending more time with my brother than you were with me which made me say things I didn’t mean.”
“Okay.”
“So, does that mean-”
“I’m just really sorry,” he finished.
I gently smiled and nodded, “Thank you for apologizing. It means a lot.”
“No,” I cut him off before he could jump to conclusions, “That doesn’t mean that I’m going to forgive you… yet. It was still a jerk move, but I understand where you were coming from."
He nodded as I continued. “I would be upset too, if I kept ditching my friend so much that they started hanging out with someone else,” I jabbed.
He nodded dejectedly, “Ouch, that hurts…”
I shrugged. “It doesn’t feel too good when you’re on the receiving end either, but Y/s/n deserves to have someone who’s a hundred percent sure about their feelings for her and if you had to ditch me to make sure of that… well,” I offered a small smile.
I walked out of the kitchen and into the living room as he followed. We stopped by the couch and watched as Y/s/n rolled her suitcase into the hall before going back into the room.
“I’m sure,” Jeong-Gyu said, still looking in her direction even though we couldn’t see her.
I nodded. “Good luck, then. I know she won’t be easy,” I smirk and patted him on the shoulder before walking to get my suitcase so we could leave to the airport.
~
“Anyway…” Jeong-Gyu happily draws out as we all walk through the parking garage with our bags in hand.
I hummed.
“Taehyung said that he should be able to see us off after work,” he said while unlocking the car and opening the trunk as we were walking to it.
Just as we started putting our luggage in the trunk, a car horn sounded through the garage, making us look over.
Taehyung rushed out of the car, slamming the door, “I’m not late, am I?”
I lightly shook my head as he ran up to us. I felt someone grab my bag and looked over to see Y/s/n.
She leaned in, “Go talk to him.” Then lightly pushed me his way.
“Hey,” he said, once we walked far enough away to be out of earshot.
“Hi,” I breathed out, sliding my hands into my back pockets.
“I, uh, wanted to come see you guys off before you left,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
I smiled, “Yeah, Jeong-Gyu told us that you wanted to. And you came at the perfect time, too.”
He chuckled. “So, I’m guessing that you and Jeong-Gyu made up?”
I shrugged. “I suppose so,” I said, rocking back and forth from my heels to my toes as a silence gathered around us.
“Um. You guys are- uh, welcome to come to visit anytime you’d like,” he coughed out.
“Thanks,” I nodded as a smile crept its way onto my face as I figured out what he was trying to avoid, “I’ll make sure to come visit to see the cherry blossoms next spring.”
“Of course! And, uh, if you want… you can bring whoever you’d like, too… That’s cool with me,” he said, looking everywhere but at me.
“Tae.”
“Hmm,” he finally turned his attention back to me.
“Jeong-Gyu likes Y/s/n.” He slowly nodded as a silent ‘oh’ left his lips. I chuckled at the response.
“So… what about you?”
I hummed while looking around, “I like beaches and amusement parks.”
He hummed in acknowledgment and stepped closer.
“And cherry blossoms, obviously.” “Obviously,” he echoed, taking a step closer once more.
“Oh! And piggy back rides,” I smiled.
“Piggy back rides? Is it because-” “You don’t have to walk,” we said at the same time which made us both laugh.
“Anything else? Maybe a person,” he asked once we calmed down.
I shrugged, looking at him with small smile, “I don’t know, I’m kind of picky when it comes to liking someone…”
His eyes held a questioning look along with some hope, so I decided to stop teasing. “Tae,” I whispered to which he hummed, “I like you.”
I watched as a smile slowly appeared on his lips.
“Are you guys going to kiss or what?!” We heard Jeong-Gyu yell from across the parking garage, making us whip our heads to look in their direction just in time to see Y/s/n smack him in the arm before scolding him.
I chuckled as I turned back to Tae and looked at him expectantly. He furrowed in brows in silent question and I gave him a small nod of approval.
He cupped my cheek with a hand as he pulled us closer to each other. My eyes fluttered shut as I felt him gently place his lips on mine. Everything I was thinking in that moment flew out the window, leaving me to only think about this kiss and how right it felt to have his lips on mine.
But all too soon, I slowly started to pull away due to the lack of oxygen coming into my lungs.
I didn’t move too far as Tae placed his forehead on mine as we basked in the moment that just occurred, a small, shy smile making its way onto both of our faces.
Tae was the first to move his head away and whispered, “Thank you for not letting my wait a year for that.” I busted out into a fit of giggles.
“No problem,” I said through the laughter before he pulled me into a hug. I sighed happily.
"Thanks for giving me space to think this through," I whispered, squeezing him a bit harder to which he reciprocated.
We stood there, wrapped in each other's embrace until two honks from a car horn brought us back to reality.
"Right," I sighed, pulling away from Taehyung, "I should get going."
He nodded, turning to face the direction of the car while interlacing our fingers together, "I'll walk you over. You never know, creeps could be lurking. I wouldn't want them stealing my person."
I playfully rolled my eyes as a scoff fell from my lips, "Calm down, Prince Charming. Nothing's official yet."
He beamed at me and I couldn't help but feel my heart melt at the sight. We settled into a conversation after that as we slowly made our way to the car that had both of our siblings in it.
“Maybe the next time you visit, I’ll surprise you with all the English I learned,” he suggested.
“Is it really a surprise when you tell me,” I asked as my brows furrowed in confusion.
“It’ll be a surprise when I actually start speaking it,” he smiled.
I shrugged my shoulders as I figured that he was right about that which made him smile.
We finally made it to the car and I checked my phone to see what time it was and luckily we weren't running late to catch our flight.
"I'm not sure how this whole long-distance thing is going to work, considering that I've never done this but-"
"We'll make it work. Besides, if you ever want to visit, I'll fly you out whenever you'd like."
I smiled, "Woah~ Look at you, Mr. Rich Man!" He shrugged, a small but playful smile on his lips.
"I'll absolutely take you up on that! Tell me if you ever want to visit, too, though I can't guarantee that I'll fly you out there. I'm not exactly dripping with money right now… or ever."
He laughed. "That’s fine. I would swim the oceans if I had to, to be with you," he said before pulling me into one of the last hugs we would share for a while.
"Have a safe flight, Y/n."
I nodded as he pressed a kiss on top of my head.
"And call me when you arrive, I can't bear to go without hearing your sweet voice for too long," he dramatically said, putting a hand to forehead and turning away.
I rolled my eyes at the scene and opened the door behind the passenger's seat.
"Alright, save the speech, Romeo. I'll text before and after the plane, how about that?"
He gave me a thumbs up as I took my seat in the car.
"Deal! Be careful you guys," he said into the car, getting a chorus of 'okays' from everyone before I closed the door.
Jeong-Gyu pulled out of the parking spot as we waved 'goodbye' to Tae before we left the garage.
"So… how was the trip," Jeong-Gyu asked as we made our way onto the highway.
Y/s/n responded happily about everything that she loved about the trip. I looked outside at the buildings that we were passing in a blur.
"Y/n? What about you," he asked.
I sighed as I watched the building move past us before I let out a small chuckle.
"Well… it was definitely the adventure of a lifetime," I smiled.

Adventure of a Lifetime
Kim Taehyung x reader
Chapter 15 | Masterlist
A/N: Oh lordy, we're nearing the end! Enjoy!
Tumblr media
I sighed, rolling onto my back to look up at the ceiling. I laid on the bed Y/s/n and I were originally supposed to be sharing, thinking about what happened yesterday.
Luckily, I didn’t have to face the music of the two boys since Tae had a meeting and Jeong-Gyu had an errand to run, which just left Y/s/n and I alone in the apartment for a majority of the day.
I sighed for what felt like the hundredth time today as Y/s/n walked into the room, holding two bowls.
“Dude, I could hear you sigh in the kitchen,” she said, handing my the bowl with fruit before sitting down and mixing whatever was in her bowl.
“You can’t hear sighs from that far away.”
“Well then, I felt them.”
I rolled my eyes as a playful scoff escaped my lips.
I looked down in my bowl and grabbed a half of a strawberry to eat.
“Do you want to talk about it,” Y/s/n asked as she began to eat her cereal.
“I’m just confused by all of this, I guess… I mean, what do you mean Jeong-Gyu now has feelings for me? It makes no sense since he has-”
“Feelings for me?” I stopped and looked at her with wide eyes.
“You knew,” I asked, slowing bringing another half to my mouth.
She nodded, “Well, yeah. It doesn’t take a genius to see how he acts towards me.”
I wiggled my head left and right in agreement. She wasn’t wrong; I mean, Tae and I had noticed his feelings.
“You haven’t let him know that you know,” I tilted my head slightly to the side in question.
She shrugged, “It’s not really my place, especially now that he’s still trying to figure out his feelings. Plus, I knew that you liked him, but the question is... do you still have those feelings for him?”
I shrugged, kind of unsure about it.
She tilted her head forward when I didn’t answer, “Do you want to know what I think?”
“Sure,” I sighed.
“I think you don’t. Think about it, you’ve spent the majority of the trip with Taehyung- and sure, it started because Jeong-Gyu wanted to hang out with me, but over time you both got closer to each other. I would be amazed if you didn’t develop feelings for each other.”
I chuckled.
“So considering that you told me that he confessed and I can see that you have feelings for him too, why are you still on the fence about this?”
“I’m not sure…”
“It’s because he’s famous, isn’t it,” she cocked her head to side and smacked her lips in disappointment, making me chuckle slightly.
“All the cute ones are always famous… But seriously, if that’s what you’re worried about, don’t be! You two would be the ones to work anything out,” she slapped her leg before standing.
“So, take some time to think about this and if you want a relationship with him, because Y/n/n,” she asked, making me hum as she took my empty bowl.
“Taehyung wants to be with you,” she said before she left the room and me alone.
I huffed and flopped down on the bed after I figured that she wouldn’t be coming back.
I wasn’t sure what was holding me back from making a decision. Was it because he was famous? Was it because we would be in a long-distance relationship? Is it just because I’m scared?
I shook my head and took out my phone in order to distract me from this problem for a while. I swiped through some apps, but my mind always when back to Tae so after a few minutes I opened my camera roll and started looking through the pictures.
Scrolling through, a lot of the pictures were of the scenery of Busan, Daegu and some from our drive to Seoul, but as I scrolled farther, I started to see the picture I took with Tae.
One from our trip to the beach, one we randomly took at a store in Daegu that I thought looked cool, the one where I was chasing him because he still had my phone.
I laughed at the picture before I reached the first picture that was taken when we got to Daegu. It was one where I was right under a cherry blossom tree at E-World. A small smile made it’s way onto my face as I remembered what happened.
~Flashback~
“We should be on the right path,” I said as I looked down at the park map then back up to make sure we were going the right way.
He nodded as we kept walking quietly. I looked around, admiring the passing scenery of buildings and plants while we made our way toward the end of the row of trees we were under.
As we were coming up on the clearing, fields of different colored flowers could be seen all around us, but one thing that stood out to me were a group of pink cherry blossom trees down the right dirt path. I gasped, grabbed Taehyung’s hand and basically ran to the trees.
“Woah,” I exclaimed as I let go of his hand and walked up to one of the low hanging branches to look at the flowers.
“This is so pretty!”
“Hmm, they never bloom this late,” Taehyung said when he approached to tree and stood next to me.
“Really,” I asked without moving my eyes away from the flowery branches.
He nodded, “Maybe they bloomed just for you.”
I looked over, trying to gauge if he was serious and when he quirked his eyebrows with a small smirk on his face, I rolled my eyes, but smiled nonetheless.
“Oh! I should take a picture,” I muttered, taking out my phone, backing up a bit and pointing it at the tree in front of me.
“Do you want me to take the picture,” he asked.
“Oh, sure,” I smiled, giving him the phone before moving to be under the tree.
He held up the phone, ready to take a picture just as a breeze shook some petals from the tree, making them fall in front of me.
I laughed while I watched to petals fall before Taehyung walked back over to me.
“I’m guessing this is the first time you’re seeing these trees in person?”
I nodded as I started walking through the trees. “Mhmm. Obviously, I’ve seen them in pictures, but it’s different when you get to see them in person, you know? I’ve always wanted to see them up-close.”
I stopped and gently held a branch to admire the delicate flowers.
“Well then… how about you come visit every year when the trees bloom? My treat,” Taehyung offered, making me look at him, surprised.
“Well as long as you’re offering… I’ll take you up on that,” I said as a laughed bubbled up and smile graced my lips.
~
My phone vibrating interrupted the memory as I opened a text Y/s/n had sent.
I thought you might want to see this. Take your time.
Immediately after reading the message, another bubbled popped up and I waited for the thing to finish downloading and soon enough a picture showed up.
It was the group picture we had take during the firework display at E-world. A firework had just gone off, casting us in a red glow. I looked at everyone and how happy we all looked after the exciting day, but Tae stood out to me.
He wasn’t looking at the camera like the rest of us; he was looking at me with a gentle smile playing on his lips. My eyes widen slightly at the realization and at that moment, I knew what my decision was.

A/N: *warning sirens* ANGST UP AHEAD!! This is what writers would call the "climax of the story", but in all seriousness, this chapter was THE main reason why I had started this series. If it wasn't for this, it would probably still be in my drafts, ngl... Anyways! I hope you enjoy!

We laughed as we stepped through the door and into Tae’s apartment. We were immediately greeted by Yeontan as we took off our shoes and made our way to the kitchen.
“I think it’s so cute how they basically switch personalities when they’re drunk,” I laughed as I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.
“Who? Jk and Hobi,” Tae asked, right behind me as he reached over and got a bottle himself before I closed it.
I smiled, nodding, just when Jeong-Gyu walked into the kitchen.
I turned to greet him, “Oh, hey!”
“Yo! When did you get back,” Tae asked, taking a sip from his water bottle.
“A few hours ago. Where did you two go? I was surprised that we didn’t see you when we came home,” Jeong-Gyu leaned on the island, looking between both Tae and I.
“Tae took me along to his practice with the members, then we had dinner together. Didn’t he let you know,” I asked.
Jeong-Gyu shook his head, “No, he didn’t.”
“Sorry, I should’ve texted you and Y/s/n just to let you know where I was going so you wouldn’t have had to worry,” I said, looking between them.
There was tension starting to grow in the room, but I couldn’t place a finger on why.
“Anyway, I’m gonna go take a shower and then get ready for bed since it’s getting late,” I said.
“Yeah, I should, too,” Tae said, as he followed me out. I headed over to the room Y/s/n and I were “supposed” to be sharing and saw laying on the bed, scrolling through her phone.
“Yo!”
“Hey,” I said, passing by the bed and walking over to my suitcase to grab some clothes.
“Did something happen between you and Jeong-Gyu,” she asked, looking up from her phone for a second.
My brows furrowed as I shook my head, “Not that I know of… why?” She hummed before she gave an answer, “I’ll let you take a shower first.”
I narrowed my eyes in suspicion as I walked over to the bathroom and closed the door.
~
“Okay. What do you mean ‘Did something happen between you and Jeong-Gyu’,” I asked as I shook my hair out with a towel.
She sighed, “Well, he’s been acting differently ever since we got home and realized that you weren’t here. I knew you had to be with Taehyung, but his mood seemed to turn sour after I said that.” I tilted my head in confusion at what she told me.
“So I wasn’t sure if something had happened,” she said.
I hummed, guessing that he was causing the tension in the kitchen earlier, but still not understanding why Jeong-Gyu is acting like this.
I nodded, “Mhmm, I’m sleeping on the couch in the living room after you kicked me out last night.”
I shrugged, “I guess I’ll talk to him about it tomorrow.”
She hummed in acknowledgment, “Are you getting ready for bed?”
“It’s not my fault! You know I don’t like cuddling,” she said defensively.
“Yep, and that’s my fault…” I said, monotonously.
“Anyway, thanks for letting me know about Jeong-Gyu. You know where I’ll be if you need anything. Night,” I said as I started to walk out of the room.
“Good night, Y/n/n,” she called out after me.
Walking over to the living room and rolling the blanket out, a conversation could be heard in the kitchen, but since if was muffled I thought I would stay out of what they were talking about.
That was until… I heard my name.
Maybe they we’re talking about me in passing, I thought as I shook my head and finished setting up where I was going to sleep when something in their conversation caught my attention.
“Are you really upset that I brought Y/n along with me?”
“It’s not just that,” Jeong-Gyu aggressively sighed, which made me draw closer to the kitchen to hear a bit better.
“You’ve been taking Y/n’s attention away with your charms!”
“What are you talking about,” Tae questioned and I couldn’t help but agree; what was he talking about?
“This trip was supposed to be just us having fun, but you had to take them away,” Jeong-Gyu sarcastically said.
“Oh! So you’re saying that you just took pity on them, acting like some kind of hero so Y/n would fall for your good looks and charm. Is that it,” the younger brother spat out.
I rolled my eyes.
“It’s not my fault. You’re the one who started to abandon Y/n to hang out with their sister. If you cared more about your friendship than this little crush of yours, then we wouldn’t be having this problem,” Tae said sharply.
“Do you even hear what you’re saying?!”
“You get everything! A good job, good looks, millions of fans that throw themselves at you left and right! Why can’t you just let me have this?”
“I thought you had feelings for Y/s/n,” Tae asked, voice slightly raised.
I quietly peeked into the kitchen debating whether I should stop this or not.
“Yeah well, all this time without Y/n made me realize that I have feelings for them, too!”
I huffed and rolled my eyes before deciding to end this and started walking in.
“Too bad, because I have feelings for Y/n too,” Tae spoke, making me stop in my tracks and my eyes widened.
What does he mean by that…
“Y/n,” he gently muttered, making Jeong-Gyu turn in my direct and pulling me out of my daze.
“What’s going on here,” I sighed.
“How much did you hear,” Tae asked.
“A little too much for my liking.”
Jeong-Gyu visibly cringed at my statement, definitely not liking that I heard the argument.
“Listen Y/n, I can explain,” he tried to start, but I held up my hand to quickly silence him.
“I don’t want to hear it right now because you’re clearly not in the right state to think rationally,” I said, pointing to his chest that was still heaving from the anger that he had earlier.
“And I don’t want you two to keep fighting, so take the air mattress and sleep in the family room down the hall. I’ll talk to you about this later.”
I gave him a pointed look before he solemnly nodded and walked out.
I closed my eyes and sighed before looking at the eldest brother. He stayed standing where he was, brown eyes on me. I walked over and lead of the island beside him, arms crossed.
“You seem awfully calm for hearing everything that happened,” he tried breaking the tension.
I weakly smiled, feeling a bit too overwhelmed by all of this.
“What happened,” I sighed.
He shrugged, “You’re guess is as good as mine. All I know is that he was going on about me ‘stealing’ you away from him.”
“He’s an idiot,” I huffed.
He nodded and we stood there for a while in silence as the tension started to dissipate.
“How do you feel about him having feelings for you?”
“I don’t know,” I shrugged, “I think he just misses me by his side and is now mistaking that for romantic feelings.”
A moment of silence fell upon us before he raised another question.
“And…” he hesitated, “How do you feel about me… having feelings for you?”
I stood there for a moment.
How do I feel about it, I asked myself before saying, “I don’t know.”
I looked at him, trying to decipher my emotions, but the more I tried, the more I became confused.
He sighed, “I’ll just get my confession out of the way, if that’s okay?”
I slowly nodded, waiting for him to continue.
“I’ve really liked hanging out with you, Y/n. I’m not sure when I started having feelings for you, maybe it was that day at the park or when I first set my eyes on you at my parents’ house, but there isn’t a day that goes by that you’re not on my mind. You’re incredibly smart and witty and sweet and I would love to stay by your side for as long as you’ll let me.”
Tears started stinging my eyes as he took a couple steps to stand in front of me.
“I know it’s confusing and you still need to work out your feelings so I won’t ask you to give me an answer right now. I’ll wait how ever long you want, whether it’s tomorrow or when you go back home or a year from now.”
I dryly chuckled as a tear rolled down my cheek.
Tae softly brushed finger across my cheek, clearing the tear before leaning in close and replacing it with a gentle kiss.
He pulled back far enough to look at me and whispered, “Whatever your decision is, I’ll wait for you. I promise.”
He quietly left the kitchen as my tears started to freely fall.

-3rd Person POV-
“Do you have a dance that you’d like to learn,” Hoseok asked.
Y/n thought for a bit, “Umm… maybe something that isn’t too difficult?”
“How about ‘Boy With Luv’? That one’s kind of easy,” Jimin shouted as he slid down the wall right behind the group.
Namjoon and Taehyung joined him while others branched off for their break. Jungkook was the only one that stayed with the two that were going to practice.
“That one would be fun,” Jungkook said, standing up and stretching.
He, then, went over to where his bag was and pulled out his phone, walking back to the group while typing something.
“Just so you know how it goes,” Jungkook said as all three of them watched the “Boy With Luv” dance practice before starting.
Right behind them, sitting by the wall, a conversation took place.
“So… ‘Tae’ huh? When did that happen,” Jimin asked, taking a sip from his water bottle.
Taehyung sighed, “It’s a long story.”
“Can’t be that long,” Jimin deadpanned.
“It happened when we were coming back from the beach-”
“Did you confess,” Jimin gasped.
“No! No, I didn’t,” Taehyung quickly objected.
“I’m lost,” Namjoon sighed and Jimin nodded in agreement.
“So, we all know that you like Y/n, but you haven’t confessed?” Taehyung shook his head, so Namjoon asked another question.
“Is Y/n single?”
The former nodded, making Jimin sigh, “Then why haven’t you told them?”
“I was going to, at the beach, but then Y/n slipped and got hurt so I didn’t think that it would be the right time. Plus they said that they have feelings for someone else,” Taehyung sighed, not sure if he wanted to tell the others that the feelings were for Jeong-Gyu.
“Well, something’s going on with you two,” Namjoon spoke.
“Everyone can see it,” Yoongi said as he sat down with the small group.
“Yeah…” Taehyung trailed off to look at the others and watched Y/n pick up on the movements in the chorus.
Y/n laughed happily when they completed the steps for the chorus. Taehyung fondly smiled before turning his head down.
He shook his head and sighed, knowing that he’s going to regret saying this, “It doesn’t help that we almost kissed last night.”
The others quickly turned their heads from wherever they were facing to look at the boy.
“WHAT?!”
The loud commotion made everyone look over to the group in the back in question. There was a long silence in the room as everyone was looking at each other. Y/n and Taehyung met each other’s eyes in the mirror, the former’s held a bit of concern.
“Sorry,” Jimin called out and everyone went back to what they were doing before.
“What do you mean you almost kissed,” Jimin whispered.
Taehyung told them a basic overview of what happened the night before and how he and Y/n were about to kiss until Yeontan interrupted. The older boys sighed at their younger brother’s predicament.
“Okay so, this confession needs to happen soon,” Yoongi said.
“Isn’t it going to confuse them?”
“Listen, I think it’s better that Y/n knows your feelings rather than playing this little game of cat and mouse where they would be even more confused. If you tell Y/n, then the ball is in their court and they can decide what to do,” Namjoon rationalized.
Taehyung nodded, knowing that would be the right thing to do but wasn’t sure how he was going to do it, but for the time being, he turned his attention back to the group before him.
Y/n was learning the movements for the fourth verse, Hoseok and Jungkook’s verse. They smiled brightly as Y/n swung their arm in front of them before bending forward and shaking their finger.
“That has to be my favorite move,” Y/n laughed as they happily did it again. The two others smiled at their enthusiasm and so did Taehyung.
They all continued doing their own things, the dance group did a small run-through and the group in the back continued to chat a while about a few things before it was time for all of them to go back to practicing.
“Thanks for teaching me, it was a lot of fun,” Y/n smiled as they thanked Jungkook and Hoseok.
“Of course! It was a lot of fun! You’re a surprisingly fast learner, unlike…” Jungkook looked over his shoulder at Jin, who rolled his eyes at the implication.
Y/n laughed before going to sit down by the wall once more and the guys went back to practicing. It was a couple hours before they called it “quits” for the day. They all started to pack up their belongings when Namjoon spoke up to ask a question.
“Do you guys want to get some dinner?”
Some nodded happily, some shrugged but still agreed to go. Namjoon turned to Y/n, “Do you want to come?”
They raised their eyebrows in surprise, “Oh! Sure, if you guys are okay with it.”
“Of course,” Hoseok cheered, making everyone nod in agreement to let them tag along. Y/n smiled, “I would love to join!”
Jungkook cheered and joined Y/n as they all started heading out of the dance studio. They both fell into a nice conversation with some of the others joining in, but Jimin and Taehyung stayed behind the group a few steps.
“Remember to tell Y/n before they leave, okay,” Jimin whispered to his friend.
Taehyung sighed and nodded, “I know.”
Jimin nudged him in support, “Listen, something’s there. You don’t just almost kiss on accident. Everything’s going to work out.”
A relieved smile made its way onto the younger one’s face, “Thanks.”
“And you know, nothing’s stronger ~than a boy with love~” Jimin sang before laughing once Taehyung playfully shoved him away.
