Happy Bugaversary

Happy Bugaversary! Even Charley is smiling!

Now time for my sappy speech because I’m sappy:

I’ve been in the voice acted audios fandom for a while now, and I didn’t really know that there was even a community for it, or several.

And then during December of 2024 I did a Hanukkah writing challenge, and I wrote fanfic for a fandom called ‘Saved By A Merfolk’. I honestly didn’t think much would come of it, and it was a spur of the moment thing, I didn’t even think it would even gain much traction. I didn’t see anything for the fandom so I kind of assumed I was alone in my interest. Heck, I wasn’t going to do it, but I decided to replace another fandom in the final moments.

And I’m so glad I did, because I ended up meeting some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in my entire life. These people, they inspired me, and they inspire me every single day. Through their art, their writing, their ideas, and even their silly little memes.

Had I not changed my plans at the last minute, I would not have met them. But I’m so glad I did. And I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.

And I ended up getting into Gator Boys and it became this whole thing because then I got into Siren’s Son and Nomads and Mage Bunkshelf and Escaped Audios. And I don’t think anything has ever brought me more joy to this very day than thee people and the Bug Army.

And now thanks to these people, I’ve started drawing again. Really drawing. Most people don’t know, but before I started doing all this art, I traced and did that to make my characters, because I thought that I was terrible at drawing even though I’d not tried to draw without tracing for years. And now I have, and I get told now that my art is good and that’s all thanks to these wonderful people, The Bug Army, for getting me out of my hermit shell. Hell, I voice act now! I would’ve never considered this had I not met them!

All things to say, I love each and every single one of you. Happy Bugaversary my dear Bug Army. I love you all so very much. 💗

The moon was full and shining lupine and her family were out camping in the woods for the weekend in the middle of the trip a strange man was in the moonlight lupine’s father went up to him and asked if the man was ok and then the man attacked him there was blood everywhere and a scream that was cut short her mother told lupine and her sister,Blake to run blake scooped her up and ran as fast and as far as she could but lupine could still hear and see everything as they ran Blake ran for what felt like hours eventually Blake got tired and could no longer run she hid lupine away and gave her the cloak told her sister to not come out until day light and that there was a circus close by and to head there when it was safe she then the how old from the man turned wolf ripped through the forest and far too close her sister said to her “ lupine I love you your are the best little sister a girl could ask for promise me that you will go and live a good happy life “ lupine agreed then Blake ran off to face the wolf the world felt like it slowed down to a screaming halt and then the wolf burst forth and snapped it’s teeth around lupine’s neck and it tossed her out from her hiding place and into the moonlight she could feel the blood pouring from her neck and she could feel bone shifting and snapping under her skin and she could feel the wounds healing it was all she could focus on she just barely noticed the wolf or the fact that a second one was fighting it to protect her how the second wolf won and drew near how it picked her up with all the gentleness that it could and carefully carried her to the near by circus and to the medical tent where she woke up the next morning
