PERIOD DRAMA APPRECIATION WEEK | Day 2: Fav Relationship

The words from Clark resonated within her and Sola felt a sudden kinship with the burden he had to carry. The weight of expectation from a world that saw him as both savior and guardian. She understood it very well, the crushing pressure of shouldering responsibilities that stretched beyond the scope of any single person. As a Time Lady, she had witnessed countless futures hang in the balance, and the decisions she made could either blow them out like a burning candle or guide them to a burn brighter.
"Clark .... " she began, her voice soft and carrying a hint of sympathy for her friend. " ... the path you chose is not one of isolation, but of unity. Your strength does not come from your ability to stand alone against the tides of fate ad time, but from the connections you forge with those around you." She stepped closer to him with her hand reaching out to touch his forearm. "You aren't Atlas holding up the heavens on your own. You are a beacon, drawing together the threads of humanity into a tapestry of hope and protection."
Sola felt Clark's concern for having everything fall to him. As his true self ( Kal-El ), as Clark, and Superman. He didn't need to go at the world alone and her unique abilities to see things and amongst her own responsibilities in her organization, she knew going at the world alone was not the best idea. Everyone needed companions and people to travel with them through the waters of what the universe threw their way. She rubbed his shoulder soothingly, before sighing a bit. "Come on Clark, lets go get something to eat, yeah? It'll make you feel better, at-least for a little while. Besides, you'll have some good company to cheer you up. What do you say?"
You can’t possibly do all of this alone.
He sensed something inside her eyes who resonated highly as he brought up that Altas comparison. Wasn’t the first time such conversation happened before? Impression of how emotionally Sola at the moment he had been exposing quietly that concerned didn’t missed him, but preferred to remain polite not to point that out. Concerning his own place inside the universe --- concerning how he decided to protect whole Earth --- ❝ I expecting to myself to be able to save everyone of universe unknowns threats. By pulling that expectation of myself humanity look at me, expecting me to act that way. ❞ There was something coming from the inner of his soul that screamed that reality. He wanted to save everyone. Avoid death and conflict when it wasn’t necessary, protect this planet of comic’s threats. ❝ Wasn't my own decision I made a long time ago ? Isn’t the path I chosen for myself? ❞
He remained inside a path in which no possible mistake can be made.
He stayed inside a journey when one tiny mistake can be fatal.
Inside every decision he was making, he needed to do the right decision, with awareness of the potential consequences he would need to anticipate, with the potential human stress coming about in which measure that decision remained the best compared to all possible proposed alternatives, while having righteousness to assuming such choice. Not doing any kind of mistake, no matter how complicated, no matter how difficult circumstances were, was something terribly hard. Sure, there was another perspective offered thanks to the Justice League. Couple of disagreements he shared concerning Batman’s solutions who were far more radical than him (and accidentally giving him a strange sentiment in the stomach, as he was certain he perceived such radicality somewhere, and it wasn’t coming only from Luthor’s symbol trademark) that displeasing him much of time. Nevertheless, with the Justice League, he wasn’t going to eternally remind them he remained the alien.
Connection he shared with Sola, mentally, sometimes, he accepted he wouldn’t probably get the answer of the various unknown questions resonating inside of him. Around her, what sounded something usual could be perceived otherwise, as how each daily life remained around that compromising of responsibilities echoed with strange familiarity. He placed himself in a manner the chessboard could fit him best … but by moments, he had the impression he had brought here not only by his own parents … ❝ Knowing things is a good point for help a reporter, but help heavier shoulders? ❞ He mused playfully, as the closeness between them was something he didn’t searched more explanations, as there was that immediate happiness spreading on his face. He appreciated the comforting closeness and gesture he received, as he sensed an embarrassment to have … complained … about his own situation. ❝ Your skills might develop inside another manner if you honestly want to help me. ❞

@lightcreators ( maxil ) said " I am belonging to the stars in same manner you've part of them"
Sola was out exploring the planet, a seemingly baren one but she found in filled with artifacts. Some she wanted to collect and study, so as she stepped out of her TARDIS and it materialized into the surroundings ( as a massive native tree ) she explored. She situated her hat, clad in trousers and a blouse reminiscent of earth in the 1920s. She wandered around, before hearing the familiar sound of another TARDIS. That's when he spotted a very familiar face. Maxil.
"Ah, Maxil." the Sola greeted warmly, her eyes twinkling with the light of a thousand stars. Running over to hug him, before hearing his words. She pulled away, chuckling some. "Your sentiment is as vast as the cosmos itself. We are all but mere specks of stardust in the grand tapestry of existence, aren't we?" she stepped closer to him as a soft smile gracing her lips as she regarded him with genuine affection. She hadn't seen him in ... a very long time. It was nice to see a familiar face again. However, she was more curious to what brought him here to this particular place? "How have your travels treated you since we last met? I'm surprised you're not back at the Capitol? Are you out exploring the universes for Gaillfrey or ... for yourself?"
Sola had always enjoyed Maxil's company, always around helping her ( and occasionally her best friend Runcible ) when they would run into the Deca. She was reminded of her time when she was but a young Gallifreyan at the academy, exploring the vast corridors of the Library of Gallifrey alongside her closest confidant, Runicilbe. "How come you're all the way out here?" she asked curiously, rounding an interesting building of sorts.

@lightcreators ( lex luthor ) said " I don't think you can easily convince me as much I appreciate the sentiment Miss Burke"
The Professor looked to Luthor with a concerned look. He had created something so powerful and the consequences of it being mishandled would be catastrophic. She knew she couldn't let him use it that way. There had to be rules and some regulation with his invention. "Mister Luthor, you do know how powerful this invention of yours is? It can rip the fabrics of space-time apart if your off by one single calculation." the woman warned. She wasn't sure what his intentions were, but she had to make sure it was kept in check. This was major and if it dealt with space-time and pocket universes, then she was the person to handle it. Sighing, she turned to Luthor and placed a hand to his shoulder. Things weren't ... right, but could she interfere? Should she? It was a complicated situation she was in. "Please rethink this." Her voice was calm, but there was concern etched in her voice. Why did this seem so familiar to her? Like it happened before? Whatever the reason, she was truly worried.

@lightcreators ( vila restal ) said " You've changed my life for the best"
The Professor turned to her dear friend and companion and placed a hand to his shoulder. A soft smile tugged at the Time Lady's lips as she chuckled to him. "Oh Vila." she began, taking a deep breath as she looked around her TARDIS. Everything oddly seemed right at this moment. He was one of few companions that actually travelled with her inside her TARDIS and his companion there was much welcomed. "You're company is always welcome, you know? I can always use someone with your ... talents." she joked, referring to his criminal background.
She found his helpful and fascinating and a strong sense that they were closer than she knew of. He was familiar to her beyond what he knew, but she wouldn't say why. The Professor rounded the TARDIS control, before looking over to Vila. A sly and giddy grin appeared on her face, "Now my friend, where to? We've got so many places to explore ... now you're not stuck on that bloody planet anymore." she joked, though she was being serious. They could literally go anywhere, all Vila had to do was tell her were he wanted to go. " ... or should I surprise you?"

@cupcakesmuses ( any muse ) gets a random starter!
The Professor had found herself in the middle of a town, her TARDIS had decided to land here for some odd reason. So the Time Lady had stepped out, looking around curiously. "Well, this is interesting to say the least!" she beamed, always open to explore and see new places and universes. Her eyes looked about the landscape, it seemed familiar but was it really? She couldn't be so sure of herself these days, with traveling around everywhere and anywhere was a bit tolling on the Time Lady.
Glancing back to the TARDIS, she shook her head. Taking a deep breath in, she grinned and went out into the world. An adventure awaited her, but something was missing. A companion, she needed a companion. The last one she had was back where they belonged. Pursing her lips, she scanned the locals in an attempt to mingle as they would say. She eventually wandered out and spotted an interesting looking person, to which she approached. "Ah. Excuse me, you happen to know where I am? You see ... I a bit lost." Not technically a lie, she didn't know where she was -- thanks to her TARDIS deciding to surprise her.

Elizabeth listened to Hans speak, nodding every now and again. She felt sympathy for him and how mean his older brothers and father were to him. He had every right to rule as much as his brothers did, but he was denied it. When Hans spoke about Phil, she titled her head some. True, he was her advisor and he helped her a great deal but the fact Hans spoke highly of him was interesting. So Hans required Phil's help to gain power? Why so? Why Phil of all people? Elizabeth was capable of helping Hans, after all she held more power than Phil. "Phil? Why not me? I can surely help you Hans." she offered softly.
Taking a deep breath, she listened and frowned to him. Power. That was what he was after and something he deserved. It was something she had but didn't want ( not entirely ). She pursed her lips turning to face the prince for a moment as her hands took his. Something about him and power seemed to go together, something about it was ... strong enough to make Elizabeth consider her next question carefully. She knew if this were to happen, their could be consequences. Good or bad, she didn't know. "I have a proposal for you, if you're willing to listen to it." she began, looking around the landscape. She knew Phil would probably scold her over what she was going to say.
"What if we were to marry? You'd have your power and I would be free of making decisions that I can't." she was serious in the proposal too. She knew Hans for a long while and it just seemed right. To be married to him.
Power was absolute.
It always has been a clear notion anchored inside his mind, an inevitable knowledge.
Happiness would come with power. Comfort will come with power.
Nevertheless --- he shouldn’t never have been forced in the first place to wait for such event to ever happening to him, imagining that perception of a perfected future perfectly imagined finding itself obligated to been taken over forcibly. Nevertheless --- he shouldn’t be forced to asking for a miracle for hoping receiving such owning.
A prince without a land to reign, a prince having a title in sign of remembrance of where he was coming from without associated advantages turned himself inside a cruel joke, in which regardless how loud his voice could be, he wasn’t going to be heard. There were too many people in his family for someone coming from the lowest ranks having whatever importance inside the legacy, which was something who frustrated him to no ends. Relationship with his parents has been complicated, relationship with his siblings has been complicated, however, anchored one defined perception about how he wanted imposing himself as the only one. For similar circumstances, Elizabeth’s treatment was a dream in which he wouldn’t never personally touch one little fragment of the happiness and the kindness she received from life, for has been pulled inside a hellfire in which he was searching desperately to find the exit. It has been currently a miracle attachment sentiment managed to distract him, to lower down his barriers, and allow him to share part of his heart.
One word secretly that he loathed from all the extent of his heart.
Miracles.
As if he needed them for hoping something inside that existence … Did he was expecting her to understand his complete perspective concerning his perception of power? Probably not. Having a kingdom was barely the first step of requesting entire acknowledge of the entire universe of a position he was owning. Especially for him who get zero while been born in middle of a guaranteed elite. Wasn’t he in middle of most pleasant seats for get what he wanted without having himself to do the dirty work, and corrupting personally everyone that will come across his path? Wasn’t it humiliating he was forced to personally showing his potential all by himself?
As much there was an assurance that wanted to be pulled about how she wasn’t forced to constantly listening to her advisor, nevertheless, he had that terrible bad impression he shouldn’t agree. He wanted to, as he wanted to advise her to not listening to Philip Butler --- but there was something, into the manner he was looked at by the concerned, by the manner he seemed the one becoming the prey of a predator it wasn’t something he will allowing to been confessed in middle of these walls, neither something that should be recommended. In which extent he had true influence in middle of Elizabeth’s kingdom compared to him, that handled the business since many years, that remained that one possible door he might took for gain what he wanted? In which extent he could pretending himself knowing more when his lack of experience could be damaging? Outside these delicate questions, it was just the sensation of that guy. Philip Butler terrorizing him he didn’t want him having a reason to pick his interest --- in which, fatally, by moving closer of Elizabeth, it was inevitable such day happening someday. Philip Butler managed to triggering inside of him an unexplained terror. Philip Butler presence triggered sensation and remembrance, no matter how far he could run, no matter how far he could hide, there will be always someone, always somebody, that will be tracking him back to the end of universes for observing him, for admiring evolution of his moves, each time pondering in which extent he wished to get that desired miracle.
He wouldn’t get absolute power without the acknowledgement of that guy.
An insulting thought , and yet, something that anchored deeply inside of his being.
❝ You’re truly the single person in the world allowed to do that. ❞ He expressed slowly with a bit of casualness inside his expression, regardless if he appreciated closeness they shared together. ❝ Your advisor doesn’t seem a man that accept not to be listened. ❞ There was certainly inside that sentence, as it was confessed without barriers. ❝ Besides, as much not everything be told to him, I’m certain he will not let knowledge escaped him … isn’t the point of an advisor? Isn’t point of an advisor at his level? Though, in some manner, he is my entry point for gain experience I desire, since, I will fatally need to be acknowledged for be part as a good ally of your kingdom, beyond your own approval that I have already received of course. ❞ He was playfully expressed. Did it would make his hell brighter, or increased further his current damnation? ❝ Your advisor is some kind of genius. Different and similar of mine, as his gaze expressed, he holds fairytale inside him. A gaze holding miracles inside of them, it’s how I perceive him. ❞ Her following sentences pushed him into a gentle thoughtfulness, as there was acceptance his obsession with power cannot been completely understand. ❝ The world owns me this. Even since my childhood, all I dream is to seat down with power, that I knew that will be mine. It shouldn’t be too much to ask for a noble of my position. ❞
