A Long Overdue Notice...

Hello clockblockers,

Thank you to those of you who have stuck with us for so long, and for those of you who reached out during our indefinite hiatus to make sure all were okay. 

The truth is, life hit a couple of our mods pretty hard these past few months, namely myself, and after a very long and difficult discussion, we have decided to disband the challenge.

I am very sorry for all of our participants who have continued to work on their pieces, waiting for the day when we would create a new schedule, and am just as sorry for those who never got an opportunity to participate. 

We welcome any questions regarding the disbandment, and I will speak candidly about what has happened through PM only. Thank you, again, those who reached out and offered a kind word through these difficult times. 

Perhaps later on, after that wonderful two-hour conclusion, we will pick this back up, or another user will renew interest and do a better job of organizing. Until then, however, this challenge is over.

For those of you who didn’t know, we re-opened signups!

Signups will remain open until July 31st at 11:59pm. A revised timeline will be posted soon, and if you follow the TBB iCalendar, that will be updated as well.

We, as mods, understand how difficult it is to keep writing once your show has been canceled, and would like to one again extend the offer to anyone who is currently participating to opt out of participation. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to a mod; we won’t hold anything against you!

For all other inquiries, please reach out to Rachel (idatheactivist) and she’ll take care of any issues/answer any questions.

Clockblockers...

In light of the recent news of the apparent cancellation of our beloved show, the mods of the Timeless Big Bang would like to formally announce that the challenge will reopen to accept any new entries. We will continue to write fanfiction and hope that you will, as well. 

The signup form will be re-released tomorrow evening, June 23rd, at 9pm EST. Signups will remain open until mid-July. A new timeline will be crafted to suit this change of plans. 

We are heartbroken and extremely saddened by this announcement, but we have not given up fighting, and have certainly not given up writing. 

Please do know that, if you so choose, you may back out of the challenge. We will hold no one to any obligation to complete their piece if the inspiration is missing.

Happily, if you have already been a part of the TBB and will continue to participate, this only gives you MORE time!

Please contact any of the mods to discuss any options further.

Howdy clockblockers!

We haven’t said much here lately, and if you’re not participating in the Big Bang, you might be wondering why. 

It’s definitely not because we’ve given up hope for renewal; we will NEVER give up hope. Three of the four mods of this blog were extremely active in the fan campaign that brought the show back for the second season, so we’ve been in this position before. It ain’t our first rodeo. 

No, we’ve all been pretty quiet because writing has begun! Authors are tapping away at their keyboards and scribbling ideas on paper napkins and muttering to themselves about plot lines in public and we’re LOVING it!

Authors are going through a series of check-ins right now, polishing up an excerpt to pitch to artists in July, and THEN pairs will be announced and the rest of us can get excited for what’s to come!

Until July, though, this blog may be a little quiet. 

Don’t forget us! We’ll be TONS more active once some writing gets done. 

If you missed out on the Big Bang this year, no worries! We’re accepting applications for pinch hitters, and there’s a fanfic exchange going on in the fandom, as well! Plenty of opportunities to dip your toe into the pool of possibilities when it comes to fanfic for this lovely fandom!

The mods are always available for questions/comments/squealing, so please feel free to reach out!
