#felixmendelssohn finished his E minor #concerto for #violin and #orchestra two years before his death in 1847. It was his last large scale orchestral work and there is something very special and haunting about the piece. Gearing up for one of my first performances with orchestra May 1 @helenasymphony and #allanrscott conducting-no audience yet...but it will be live-streamed. More to follow!
