THE HIEROPHANTS
The Hierophants are a band I will definitely miss :( They were only around for a year but they produced some great tracks. The Hierophants are an off shoot band of The Frowning Clouds, both bands are from Geelong in Victoria. I believe they played their last show at Woodland and also supported Chook Race at thier 7" launch which I heard was wild!!
This clip/song has such a catchy guitar break down it's hard to resist. I'm sure you wont regret listening to it and the audio is surprisingly clear for a garage band. I did get to meet most of the band at Golden Plains this year (2012) when they had a beer at our camp site which was cool. Gem though I was going to spaz out... I nearly did.

A year and a bit with Gem
So, It has been a year and a bit with Gem and it felts like a couple of months. She is so cool and very pretty... I have pictures to prove it haha. Well only ones from my iPhone and a couple FB.
This was a pic I took when I took Gem down the coast for the first time. We went along the coastal road from Stanwell Tops to Bulli. She is stretching to try and instigate me to stretch... It didn't happen.
Gem is a crazy coffee addict, I'm not sure what she likes more than coffee other than The Strokes, followed by Royal Headache, followed by Pinterest. Anyway this a photo of her spilling her long black and she is not happy hehe!
Paparazzi!!! Gem takes millions of photo of everything including me. She should be paparazzi or something. Gemma described this place as the moon, it is called Voodoo or Suck Rock it is a surf spot in Kurnell. There is also a rainbow in the shot.
Gem hates this photo but I love it! You can see the content look on her face because she has finally got the first coffee of the day under her belt, I think it took her around a minute to consume. This was taken at breakfast in Richmond, Melbourne. The breakfast in front of her was not eaten because Gem is allergic to nuts and there is a whole pile of almonds on top of that bircher. Toast was had instead haha.
This is a drawing I did of Gem as a cat throwing a tennis ball with a stick, don't ask, I was bored haha!
This is what I see every time I look at Gem, FB and Pinerest own her + emails.
A photo of baby Gem! Gem has seen millions of photos of me as a youngster and when she went back to the UK I told her to get a picture of her when she was young. She was born an alien haha, a very cute one!
This is Gem at a festival in Sydney called Laneway which was hands down the worst festival I have ever been to in my life. What a waste of money... I'll never go to it again. Cool outfit though Gem, you should pinit!
This is Gem embarrassing me at a bar in Melbourne (I hate photos). Thanks for letting me steal that novelty straw from the Tiki Bar haha.
