A highlight of this year’s festival was a performance of Gene Clark’s ‘No Other’ album by the combined talents of the Gene Clark No Other Band. This performance was on the Garden stage at 10pm on Friday 29 August.

The campfire in the area near the Somerset Cider Bus and the Tipi Stage is always a great place to relax. There are benches around it and the fire gets topped up with logs until after midnight.

Earlier on the Friday evening, the Woods stage had performances from Jenny Lewis at 5.45pm (above) and Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks at 7.30pm (above - top).

This year, The Bear Tavern, near the Big Top, had a large range of beers. However, by Sunday most of the cask ale had been sold.

The EOTR posties perform a valuable free service, delivering letters to people where the letter writer may not know the name of the addressee but can give a description instead.

St Paul and the Broken Bones played the Woods stage on Saturday at 3.30pm

There are lots of areas in the grounds of Larmer Tree Gardens to explore including a pond area in a dip which was accessible during the daytime.

The audience for the temporary Garden stage use the same lawn which is beside the permanent Singing stage (right).
Although I had missed the Barr Brothers performance on the Woods stage on Saturday afternoon I was able to see them on the Tipi stage for a late night ‘Secret slot’. The harpist in the band was Sarah Pagé.

Parrots and peacocks are often seen at the Larmer Tree Gardens site and this year there were chicks with a peahen.

Sigur Ros were the Saturday headliners on the Woods stage.

Not wearing black on this occasion, my photo of Channy (Polica) on the Big Top stage, a little later on the Saturday night.

Belle & Sebastian closed the Woods stage on the Sunday night.

From Nashville, Caitlin Rose played the Tipi stage after midnight, having played the Woods stage earlier in the day.
