Day 8 is way late
I got sidetracked with otjer stuff that needed to be done so maybe I won‘t finish this challenge by the end of the month but I‘ll just keep it going until I‘ve done 31 days :)

Day seven
All that gets posted here is actually gone - it doesn‘t count unless i‘ve already gotten rid of it. Because i tend to sort stuff out and then it will stay in my basement for ages before i do something about it. Case in point the glass bortles..

I‘ve been trying to play the minimalst game since may but somehow always fell off the wagon. In july i rearranged my livingroom and sorted books out, yesterday i finally got around to giving them away and even remembered to take pictures.
This is my Day 1. (just a few days late but better late than never :) )

Meet Finch-Herbert. He's a lovely friend to have around, enjoys tall grass and long naps... He's knit with the "Pookies" pattern by Barbara Prime's Fuzzy Mitten. I got it from Ravelry and it was the first pattern I bought via the site. It is really easy to buy patterns there. Maybe almost too easy? The sweater and hat are made from leftover madelinetosh sock yarn from christmas. The body is knit with a ball I bought for this purpose because I don't really have white yarn. I'm really happy with how he turned out, while it took me longer than I thought it would (some people finished it in 2 hours, it took me almost twice as much becuase I couldn't find the cherry stones I knew I had somewhere..) I'l definitely knit something else from the collection. It is a nice evening project and I know a few people who would enjoy one of these... I only realised I forgot to give him a mouth when I took the photo and in the beginning I wanted to add it on but somehow I like him without one. And he won't be able to tell me that I really shoud go to bed now that way..

The Knopenwinkel in Amsterdam.
Basically you coul call it a button shop - but it is so much more! I could spend hours in there browsing buttons and wanting to buy them all even if I don’t need them...
I thought I had a better photo of it but the only one I could find was a horribly overexposed one where you can only recognise the doorhandle.. Yeah I’m awesome like that.
Recently I’ve been hit by a new wave of the travelbug and it wants to take me to amsterdam to stay on a houseboat and knit, drink tea (and or wine) and explore the city - preferrably by bike even if that is not recommended for tourists... That is currently where my dream-happiness lies.

Found this Urtica on my sunday walk right beside a field of snowdrops... I think they are fascinating just growing everywhere and protecting themselfe and not being appreciated as much as they deserve because they posses quite a few healing properties and get used for various things.

When I was trying to post this photo and my computer almost crashed I started browsing harry potter stuff on pinterest… I had an actual text planned out to this photo, along the lines of ‘sunday walk’ and ‘pretty beehouse’ or ‘didn’t expect to find this in the woods’ and stuff like that but yeah… my focus is gone now, thank you pinterest, thank you harry potter!
(is anyone else as entertained as me with all the posts you can find out there with different theorys? I really dig it!) ?

This ram was standing up on the wall, watching us walk by below and when we walked the same way back about twenty minutes later he came running to the wall again and watched us as if we were the biggest danger imaginable to his flock.
