"Well, when you put it like that." Finally freed from her cumbersome jewelry Varda snaked her arms around Manwe's shoulders. She allowed her eyes to slide closed, relishing the feeling of his fingers in her hair. "That feels wonderful" she murmured "though I didn't tell the Children that crown was horribly uncomfortable."

"Do you think so? I confess I have often thought that they shine brighter when they know my eyes are upon them, but I am no true judge. It is nice to hear you agree with me." Varda smiled, her face glowing softly with happiness from the compliment. She view the stars as an extension of herself, any compliment to them was a compliment to her as well. "How have things been here? Peaceful as always?"

"You are always welcome around this place, my lady. My husband would say the same." She wrung the excess water from her skirts and golden hair before stepping closer to the Vala. “It would be an honor to join you and watch that which you have made, my lady." With that said, she seated herself by Varda with a little plop. “They are beautiful as always and very bright tonight. But perhaps that is because you are watching them?"

"It was never my intent to hide it. I thought the jewels might supplement it. Just as a singer's voice might be aided by an instrument I thought that this" She waved at the disassembled crown and necklace laying about "might serve to amplify mine own beauty."

"I doubt very much if your stories would bore me. You and the Children always have the most outlandish adventures and those make for wonderful stories. Still, if you believe the histories are more engaging I should be willing to hear those." She replied with easy manners.
He returned another warm smile towards her and nodded “I would be delighted, what would you like to hear of first? There is so much to tell. I’m afraid my tales would bore you so I would stick to the histories of the people." he laughed, mainly at himself.

"He talks about any number of things but the sea and those who choose to live by it are always foremost in his thoughts and speech. However, though I am loath to confess it, I'm afraid I know nothing of ships. And little of the sea in general. Since these are so much Ossë's domain I feel awful that I am so ignorant. And, at this point, I cannot very well stop him and have him explain things to me. I am certain it would decimate his happiness." Varda confessed to the kind elf. She followed him willingly but matched his gate so that they walked abreast. "You will find me an eager student for whatever you wish to teach."

Though she tried to fight it Varda couldn't help the wide smile that broke across her face. "You join it?" She asked incredulously "As what? Do you don a form like to that of the Children and walk amongst them as one of their own? Surely they can tell that we are not one of them?"
Though she questioned him so intently Varda was truly excited about such prospects. She spent too little time amongst the Children to really know them. Sure, she communed with the Vanya that lived in Aman. But to them she was a deity and they treated her as such. She was looking forward to being treated as an equal.

"Then you are quite far from where you began too. Few that looked on Tiron reside in these lands. We are well met Belenwen of Tirion." Varda raised herself and extended a hand for the other to take; just as she had seen other Children do. "I am glad that you have found a home in these distant lands. Though I find myself wondering what drove you from your place of birth? Was it the same curiosity that drives me this night? Or something else entirely?"

"So it has. I find in general our paths cross too infrequently." She returned his kindly smile. "Unlike you, I am abroad so little. Perhaps, you will be kind enough to tell me of Arda?"

Varda does not reveal herself to the Children, especially elves (who worship her more), upon first meeting. She is happy to be loved and worshiped by them but most of the time would rather be treated like a equal while in their company.
Additionally, she will rarely apologize. Unless she has done visible damage (i.e., broken your favorite set of plates) she is not going to apologize.

"Truthfully, it is not. You are the first Firstborn that I have met with facial hair. I find you carry it well. Surely many others would wear beards well also, though they have much wisdom and many years to gain before they can even attempt it." Varda smiled once more then looked around her again. Inhaling a deep breath, the unaccustomed smell of salt permeated her lungs. "Perhaps, you would be good enough to show me about? And also teach me, at least a little, of what all Ossë is always talking about?"

Careful, love, careful
Despite Manwe's careful fingers she could feel the intricate crown and necklaces pulling on her hair. She couldn't hide her grimace as one of the pieces caught in a lock of her hair when Manwe tried to pull the necklace free.

"Yes, I suppose you could say I am. My home is far away but I make an effort to visit these land as often as I can. There is something wonderfully beautiful about the grass and trees and the darkness. Don't you think?" she asked rhetorically. "My curiosity drives me on my travels and yet it remains unsated. Won't you tell me of yourself? Or of this domain?"

"Thank you. I confess I always felt a fondness for the wee creatures. It is nice to know it's well founded."
+4 Familiar Faces Have Appeared

~*Varda would get the knowledge that fireflies were made with leftover fragments of her Song. A sort of tribute to fly lower to the ground.*~
~*The personal blog receives a greeting.*~

~*Kyran would find a nice patch of sun to bathe in.*~

~*Fëanáro received one last boon as his ashes were carried by the wind, over the heads of his children and back to the earth around the smithy where his craft was first born. A garden grows there now.*~

He leaned in, placing his forehead on hers amd closing his eyes, smiling, hands resting with a gentle, affectionate touch on her hips. "I shall not prevent or stop you from leaving, I never have nor ever shall try to. The stars must be free to sparkle. And, yet, when your radiance is closest to me, I feel happy."
Varda leaned into the touch and closed her eyes. “And yet, I think, the stars sparkle all the brighter when I am with you. My happiness brings forth their radiance and I am most happy with you."

"Goldberry." Varda recognized the woman in front of her having met her on several occasions before. She had always found Goldberry most agreeable company and thus smiled all the brighter when she recognized her. "I did not realize I had wandered into your lands. Though I do suppose that explains the air of peace here. I haven't any true plans and was just going to watch the stars a time. Would you care to join me? Or perhaps you have something more diverting to do?"

And there stood Goldberry all clad in been and gold and absolutely drenched. But that was bound to happen since she had spent all day swimming in the Withywindle. Her ever present smile grew wider at the greeting for she knew who he lady before her was. Even the trees were whispering a bit louder; and why shouldn’t they recognize the lady of that which shone up in he sky over their boughs. The River Daughter made a small little curtsy. “Fancy seeing you here, my lady."
