percy collapsed the bridge that killed michael and forced will into the head of the infirmary and head counselor position. it’s not unreasonable to think that a 12 year old grieving the death of his older brother/role model would blame percy for michael’s death the same way nico blamed percy for bianca’s death.

maybe a controversial opinion but nico di angelo isn’t as tortured and edgy as some fans want him to be…like obviously he Is but he’s not defined by that. he’s defined by his relentless determination to survive and heal and grow toward the light. like that’s a pretty major thing about him. nico is for the hopepilled recoverycels. if you want a fucked up tragic character whose pain consumes them luke castellan is right there. if you want a tortured child of hades who never gets to heal and whose story is defined by tragedy bianca is right there. but i believe portraying nico as mired in inescapable anguish is an unfortunate misinterpretation
