Place to visit in Jammu & Kashmir
Jammu & Kashmir is known as the Heaven of Earth till 1990s. People have written millions of words to best describe the beauty of Jammu & Kashmir; but the truth is the power of words can never describe the mysticism that this state possesses.

There are so many places in J&K to visit specially in the months of summer as to get rid of the extreme heat of the Sun in the rest part of country & in the months of Winter to look into the extreme beauty of ice and icy rocks. The glaciers and their white iced bed-sheet attracts the most.
Sri Nagar: This Capital city lying on the bank of river Jhelum with deep and beautiful valleys cascaded in sky scraping mountains, Srinagar symbolizes nature, beauty, harmony and romance. Dal lake and Shalimar Bagh are the two well known place to visit.

Leh Ladakh : Land of Queer Beauty and Sheer Adventure in midst of the Himalayan and Karakoram ranges with superabundance of attractions to visit and phantas magoric and fabulous landscapes, Ladakh is truly a heaven on Earth.

Vaishno Devi: Located in Trikuta hills, 13 Kms from Katra at a height of 1560 m above sea level with clouds and thinning air, this town is the holy cave temple of Mata Vaishno devi.
Gulmarg: Situated at an altitude of 2730 m above sea level, Gulmarg is surrounded by snow covered mountains, lush green meadows, deep ravines, evergreen forested hills and valleys.

Amarnath: The Amarnath cave is haven to an enshrined image of ice called the Shivaling formed naturally, which resembles Lord Shiva and hence this is one of the most important pilgrimage in India.

Kargi: Kargil is located in Ladakh and is a usual stopover for people leading towards Leh or Padum. The town is 11 Km away from the actual line of control and is small enough to be explored by wayfaring.

Pangong Lake: The famous and sparkling blue Pangong lake is situated near Leh-Ladakh in the Himalayas, approximately at the height of 4350 meters. This endorheic lake is 12 kilometres long and extends from India to Tibet, with two-thirds of it lying in the latter.
