so Prometheus fought and he wept and he burned for mankind and in return, we fight push against the hollow restraints of Pandora’s box wishing for a home greater than the cracks between our brittle clay bones hardened by sunlight so we fight and we fight and we fight after all we learned from the best.

━━ Jesse nodded, “Like I need lots of sleep most of the time,” he joked. It was true enough—if the press’ having a field day, the two things they tend to praise most about him was his fantastic hair and superb style. His entire work music-related or his art in general? Blatantly ignored (or they couldn’t be bothered, whichever). “Like I said, I was going to introduce you to them. They’re a wonderful family. Surely, you’ve met Donna?” It was Arlo that formally introduced Jesse to Donna when he set foot on Kaos, and has gotten his bearings. “Alright, it’s good seeing you, Kyle.” Nodding, Jesse took the last drag of his cigarette and ashed it. He gestured towards the reception, silent way of saying I’ll head back and you do whichever. “See you around then.”
He couldn’t help smirking slightly at his mention of needing more sleep. Probably accurate.
He hesitated for a moment. Jesse wasn’t being a dick to him, at least not right now. He’d really liked him, they’d had fun together. It had been a couple of years, maybe he shouldn’t try to hold a grudge.
Kyle started after him without hesitation in his step. “It’s good to see you too,” he stated. “What have you been up to?”

“It’s nice to meet you Kyle.” Replying softly, snapping away as she took shots from different angles. “Yes… I like music and when I first started I thought i was rude to ask for it, eventually my photographers would ask what I like to hear and play the music without me needing to ask. But in the beginning I would hum, it does take away from doing more um- poses with your face though.” Admitting with a shrug, Esme had nothing to hide. The girl was rarely ashamed of things in her life.
He was starting to feel a little shy and put on a pedestal as he heard the camera clicking away but he tried to focus on the actual drawing he was doing and it calmed him slightly. “Well, that was nice of them,” he offered, for them to see what she needed and provide it for her without being asked. “I can imagine humming makes it pretty hard to emote since you can’t really open your mouth.”

“ah, so i wasn’t super suave and assured when talking about fixing up a giant villa on a greek island in the middle of the sea with no previous construction experience? weird.” it really was a win-win, more for her than him and she wasn’t going to pass that up. “architect, huh? what brought you to kaos then? hope you don’t always work for free like this.”
He laughed easily. “Yeah, somehow I could just read in your voice that you were a little stressed out about it,” he joked.

“I’m on a gap year,” he explained, eyes taking in the space. “I just graduated from college and not quite ready to jump into the deep end of a career. Haven’t actually gotten paid for any kind of work,” he admitted. “So I guess technically I do work for free. Or food, that’s good too.”

AT KYLE’S QUESTION, arlo glances over his shoulder at the other bartender and bar back, then back at kyle. he sticks a hand out for him to shake. “arlo,” he introduces himself. a small smirk lingers on his lips as he surveys the dance floor, speckled with couples slow dancing and swaying. he keeps kyle’s hand in his own and steps away from the bar. “i have two left feet and a boyfriend, so i can’t say this will be any sorts of good or beneficial for you,” he tells the other. “but i did take a dancing class once when i was younger.”
he leads kyle to the edge of the dance floor and laughs, then lets his hands hover above kyle’s shoulder and waist. “but who knows? maybe i can spin you into the arms of a lover or something.” his hands are light as they rest, arlo’s posture instantly straightening. he offers the other a grin. “i’d like to think i’m a good wingman. can’t say i’ve ever tried dancing with someone to be successful at that but there’s a first for everything.”
“Arlo with two left feet and a boyfriend,” he repeated with amusement as he followed him out to the dance floor. That was perfectly fine by him, flirting just tended to be his default setting. He followed Arlo’s lead-he had taken a class once right? His hands found their way a bit more firmly to his waist and other shoulder. “Wouldn’t say I’m looking for any kind of benefit, just seemed like you wanted to dance. Hope your boyfriend isn’t the jealous type,” he joked.
“That would certainly be nice,” he chuckled. “Sounds a bit like a bad movie plot though, doesn’t it? One of those comedies where you dance with someone and you’re spun way too fast into someone else and just ‘click’ love at first sight, right?” he snickered. He was probably talking too much, but he was having fun joking around.

Ok so I dont think I ever actually showed this bust I did for my sculpture class, but I'm super proud of him!! This was the first time I've ever worked with clay, much less trying to actually sculpt a person, but I think he turned out really good!
This took me most of the semester to finish haha. But this guy is my own little Frankenstein's monster. He not based of off any one existing person, but is rather an amalgamation of different features I picked of of lots of different people lol
