The sudden move she had made, was a caculated risk and it turned out to be a good one. She lifted her head up and looked at him for a moment brown orbs observing him. "Seems.. like the risk was a good one."

When Erza took Makarov’s spot the first thing Sting did was raise one eyebrow. Where was Fairy Tail’s guild master? Was he on some important mission, at another meeting, injured or sick? He cast a glance upon the red head and then back onto the others that were sipping their hot drinks with not so much as a slurp. The room was quiet. To quiet and the only way to break the silence was for the guild master of Sabertooth to speak up. “Someone want to tell me what’s going on?”  Still there was no answer. Now he was worried and scanned his eyes towards Erza for some answers.

Master Bob a usually jolly fellow couldn’t help, but place a tissue underneath his eye to wipe away a tear. “Our dear Makarov is no longer with us. Blue Pegasus has already handled the reception after the funeral arrangements have been made. Erza since Laxus, Makrov’s  only living relative can not be found we all feel you should be Fairy Tail’s temporary guild master.”

There was no expression in the white dragon slayer’s blue hues. He was somber and couldn’t help, but ponder how someone so powerful as Laxus’s grandfather could have passed away? “What was the cause of death?” The young blonde asked. “Was it from the war with the Alzavez Empire?”

☩       She didn't want to hear it, to relive it all over again. She had been there when he died, she watched it and they all begged him not to do it. She wasn't sure who was more heart broken about the whole ordeal, Laxus, her, or the first. She watched with her own eyes what he had done, broken up the fight of Natsu and Gray, and dealt with the woman who called her her mother. War was a deadly and bloody thing and it tore apart so many of their members. She only came because no one else wanted to deal with it and it hurt still. "I understand." The words came out of her mouth automatically. It wasn't something to think about it had already been slightly discussed at the guild hard she just had to do her job.

She needed to answer sting's question and it hurt so much to even think about it, much less talk about it. But not many knew what happened and Fairy tail was still recovering from the ordeal. She had to be strong for her family. "He sacrificed himself for all of us, it was during the war with Alzavez Empire. It wasn't much of a choice he decided to do it no matter what anyone said." To save his bratty children he died. That weight carried heavy on the scarlet woman's shoulders. Shifting just a little in the chair she looked at Sting with a sad smile as she answered then back towards everyone.

"Sorry for the silence, it's still a rough spot for Fairy tail. But we are still a guild and will continue doing what needs to be done."
