ABOUT THUNDERBOLTS BY MYSELF

This is my last post praising Thunderbolts; but as an autistic person with ADHD, I couldn't be happier that this movie exists.

I was coming from very dark days, leaving my therapy again, having to start from scratch and then Marvel came along to remind me why I love superheroes so much.

I couldn't be more grateful to have experienced this beautiful geeky world, to be part of this community, to make friends, it's been my light in the darkness.

Many will say it's just a movie; but sometimes for many it's as important as a message, a message of hope.

Isn't that why we create stories of heroes? Isn't it about dreaming of being our best version? I think so.

clint saving a young girl from herself and becoming her best friend and yelena saving a young guy from himself and becoming his best friend is very important to me

I keep thinking about the fact that Bucky first met Bob as Sentry!Bob and then got ... taken apart by him and then saw him as The Void but, later in the void-world, still decided that what he'd heard about him from Yelena and the others and what he had come to know about Bob was enough for him to become protective and save Bob from the void because thats exactly who Bucky is at his core!

He will protect the ~tiny guy and he will be the grumpy old uncle and I love that we finally get to see him as such again!

I find it necessary to mention the fact that there is not a single person who is not HOT in the Thunderbolts👁️👄👁️

Bucky getting his arm ripped off again and being thrown across the room, only for Ava to quickly snatch up the arm, as Walker is already pulling Bucky upright, so that Alexei can toss him over his shoulders like a rag-doll, while Yelena runs for the elevator.

Seriously, for all of us who've suffered from depression or any mental health condition, Thunderbolts felt like a caress to the soul. A beautiful reminder that even if you're broken inside, you can be the hero of your own story.
