Takamina 755 - Team A setlist change announcement

(via Takamina 755) At last, the 47 prefecture tour that was started 3 years ago, 'Let's meet in the remaining 27 prefectures' too, There is only a short time left until the end! So, I have an announcement for everyone!! Takahashi Team A, on the 27th at Miyagi, Will be changing our setlist completely on the final nationwide tour show. Team A has come so far without changing our songs. That's because we wish to have members grow further through this single setlist without changing it. After completing each & every location, I think members' growth have been obvious. As the next step, on our last show, we wish to treat this as 1 more challenge for ourselves! (translated from Minami's Talk) Sorry for alarming everyone During today's 9th Anniversary Commemoration Show, I have announced my graduation Effective 2015, on the 10th Anniversary I will be graduating from AKB48 The reason I announced it 1 year earlier Is to allow some grace period for me to hand over my duties as Soukantoku I have named Yokoyama Yui as my successor To be honest, I think it's better for a title like Soukantoku to be gone, To have it end with me, To wait for someday, when someone like the old me takes the initiative to lead everyone, acknowledged by the surrounding people & becomes captain or soukantoku on her own. I really think that we should follow this natural flow. But the current AKB does not have the leisure to wait. In a group of girls, There are moments when the conversations can't stop, order can't be maintained, Of course for those times, This group needs someone who can voice out, "Let's go" While talking with Akimoto-san, we've reached that conclusion. Yokoyama and I have a very close relationship She looks up to me, She's earnest, works diligently, kinda clumsy. Her dream to solo debut and various part of her overlaps with me Before I realized it, she has become a junior I adore To have her taking over Soukantoku, I'm reluctant I fear the possibility that it may tear her further away from her dreams But the Yokoyama now needs some kind of impetus to grow further Honestly, being Soukantoku is hard But in return, you get to have the eye of the world on you as someone who hauls AKB forward As the person who knows first hand how hard it is... I will spend this one year teaching what I am capable to teach Even after I graduate, I intend to continue communicating my opinions to the adults on all things that have been overlooked about the group. Takahashi Minami Graduation Announcement Comment (2014/12/8 AKB48 Theater)

Today is AKB48 Theater's 9th Birthday. This year, 2014, is a year filled with various happenings for AKB. Among them are farewells with fellow comrades, which as a group, is a crisis as well. Overcoming all of that and being able to welcome this wonderful 10 year on the theater stage like this, it is all thanks to everyone. Looking back at December 8th 2005, it was the day we first stood on this stage. Honestly, when we first started, we were called 「アキバ四十八」(AKIBA YONJYU HACHI) continuously during outside jobs. Our degree of familiarity among the masses did not increase and we had some really hard times. But, even through those times, this theater continues to exist. No matter how painful or how difficult it was, even at times when we could not bear to stand up, just by returning to this theater, everyone is here to greet us with warm smiles & cheers. This place, to us, is our home. And in our home, this theater, there are two pillars. Honestly, they are a great hindrance (laughs). But there is an established practice here. Once per year, on this December 8th, the theater's birthday, a pink tape is pasted on them. 'Someday, it would be nice if they can be filled with pink tapes until we can no longer see the pillar', these are the hopes entrusted while we continued this practice since the first year of our formation. In the beginning, it may not have such a meaning like that. But, with all the wonderful people here, and being able to paste the tape with so many comrades here today, I'm happy. And next year, on these pillars, the 10th tape will be pasted. AKB48, 10th Anniversary. Looking back at it, it really feels like a blink of an eye. But at the same time, it feels like it has taken us a long journey to reach where we are now. 10th Anniversary, I think it is an important turning point. Allow me to make an announcement here. I Takahashi Minami, on December 8th 2015, will graduate from AKB48. It is something that would only happen in a year's time. But, I am AKB48 Group's Soukantoku. In order to allow some hand over time for members, I have announced it at this timing. For me, I am really glad I joined AKB48. There have been many farewells with fellow comrades. And there are only three people left in the same gen. When I realized it, the scenery around me has changed as well. Even singing the same songs, around me are position of members who have long gone. "Why am I here?" it would be a lie if I said that this thought have not crossed my mind. Even so, 'it is great to be here'. I am able to feel this way thanks to Akimoto-sensei, all the staff members, wonderful members here and above all, the fans. Being able to meet everyone is the most valuable treasure in my life. There might be not much time left for me to repay this AKB48. Even so, in some way, I would like to leave something behind for members who will shoulder AKB48's future. I think that is one of the shape of the repayment that I am able to afford. After I am gone, I would like to name Yokoyama Yui as the person who would lead AKB48 Group as next Soukantoku. Frankly, Soukantoku is a bothersome position. It is hard. I think members close to me might have felt it too. That is why I really hate that I have to pass the name of Soukantoku to my good friend, Yokoyama Yui. I had wanted (this post) to end with me. But, with a big group of girls like this, being distracted with lively conversations, not able to concentrate, unable to stay collected, there are many times like that. At those times, I think there is still a need for someone in the group to speak out words like, "Let's go, let's do this". Can Yokoyama come here? (Yui stands beside Takamina)

To me, she is a wonderful junior. She is really someone who is earnest but awkward at times, she works really hard with utmost effort. Her dream is the same as mine too, solo debut. By handing her this soukantoku post, it may keep this dream of hers at a further distance than it is now so I felt really troubled over it, but I think she needs an impetus. Sounkantoku is agonizing. But at the same time, there will be an increase in the amount of exposure to society's eyes and simultaneously chances will increase. With this, I want Yokoyama to think of it as a chance and do her best. (Turns to Yui) Say something~ I want her to do her best. For that purpose, the next 1 year, I will be transferring my baton to her. There are still many things I wish to leave to her, to all the juniors. Honestly, there are so many that I am not sure I can teach all of it in this 1 year. Even so, with the remaining time, I will do my best to proceed together with everyone. I have not properly decided the exact outlook or details of my graduation yet. I hope I can notify everyone in some way or another when I can. The only thing I can say is, This is not a sad thing.

Next year, it will be AKB's 10th Anniversary. An important year. I am very happy that I can stay in this group for 10 years and I don't think this is a group that will end in 10 years. I want (everything) to be passed on to the 11th year. I think it would be alright. And so, in my own way, I will do my best to pass on the baton to Yokoyama Yui and the remaining members. Even from now onwards, please continue your support for AKB48 Group.

Yamamoto Sayaka's definition of a 'best friend'

"How do you make a best friend?" Sayanee: I wonder what is the definition of best friend. A friend whom you can talk about anything with? Someone with whom the conversation does not cease? Different people might have a different definition of it. For me, a best friend is someone who doesn't fit into any of the above. When I'm with that someone, we might not necessarily just have fun or enjoy talking together. Rather, we spend most of our time together in silent. But just the presence of her nearby is calming. If I must put it into words, it is a relationship where "even when we don't say anything, we understand what each other is feeling". How we got close, I don't remember. Perhaps it's because we have been around each other physically for a long time, it has given us plenty of chances to talk. How should an idol be like, the direction we should pursue. I realized that by talking about those things together, our way of thinking & personality are actually quite similar. A 'best friend' is not someone you force yourself to make, it is someone who is already by your side before you realized it. I think it is fine to have this kind of stance. My 'best friend' is called Yamada Nana. She joined NMB48 at the same time as me. She will be graduating on April next year but I am not feeling lonely. Even if we are apart, our hearts are one. I think having a friend like that is just fine.

The song that I, Matsui Rena choose as my 'BEST OF AKB48' is Kurumi to Dialogue. It is the coupling song for Team A in AKB48's 19th single, Chance no Junban. I actually love Takeuchi-senpai the best but why did I choose this song...? I love the choreography during live, the dance is a perfect balance of softness. Especially the perfectly balanced way that Maeda-san performed the dance. I love it very much & it really left an impression on me. At Tokyo Dome, the production of members performing it with laser beams was very cool. Listening to this song reminds me of all that. I think it's also a superb song in itself. So, if I'm an AKB fan, I would want to vote for it in Request Hour.

Sakiko: (11:00~)Takamina-san never leaves Kojima-san's side & she monopolizes the seat beside her. During meal time, she even had Kojima-san give her a lap pillow. Just because it's Takamina-san, I don't think she should be forgiven. We need to charge her money. I understand that Takamina-san loves Kojima-san, she's always dere dere saying 'Nya~n Nyan~ but she is definitely touching Kojima-san's body too much! So next time, I'll keep watch & stop her if she tries anything suspicious. Let's charge her for it. I'm not the touchy feely type but I think it's one of the things Takamina-san look forward to during team tours.

Kodama Haruka G+ Good morning＼(^o^)／ An incident from a TV show recording recently. During the waiting time for camera rehearsals Takamina-san came to sit beside me, touched my arms & said, "Have you lost weight? Are you okay? Make sure you eat your meals properly😚" While thinking, 'As expected, Takamina-san's Daijobu sensor is amazing!!' I can't help but wonder, 'Eh? (What about)Takamina-san?' "Takamina-san should eat your meals properly too!" The both of us end up talking with each other like this. It was fun o(^▽^)o♪w I want to become like Takamina-san too Someone who is aware & notices things like this!!! I'll need to polish my sensor too(￣▽￣) It'll be nice if I can talk to her again✨

KTV「New style music info show MUJACK」25:45～26:15 Takamina is a MC on MUJACK so we get to meet up again for the first time in a while.

She was the same as ever, I had to laugh lol. There is a segment where me, Sayaka & Takamina had a talk. But everyone's character is so dense, we even talked about how there are many early gen members who are weird & strong-willed www Personally, I think my 'doya' personality doesn't lose to Takamina's. Fufu Btw! In this episode, there's also a corner where Takamina & I had a chance to sing together

Both of us haven't sing together since the unit 'Higurashi no Koi'. How many years has it been? Singing together again after such a long time, there was some feeling of shyness between us and we can't help but laugh about it together...

In the talk session, we talked unreservedly & there were some parts where we really dived into so I think it's pretty interesting w It's only aired at Kansai region...but you must watch it~~(^^)!!

Ichikawa Miori YuSatsu PLAYBACK INTERVIEW "Will someone please become Lemon's best friend?"

Miorin: Before I joined AKB48, my oshimen was Takamina(Takahashi Minami)-san. 6 years ago, I started having interest after watching her dressed up as a guy in a drama. I found some videos of her theater performances & my heart skipped a beat after watching how she put her all into dancing despite being so small sized (laughs). At that time, I even collected desk pad, photos & various goods of her. Now, rather than adoration, it has become more of a respect. What made me really happy was last year, I was able to join Takamina-san's birthday party! A mail from Manager-san said, "We're having a surprise party so those who can come, please join", I was overjoyed. But a part of me was worried if someone like me is welcomed there... Timidly, I went to the place it was held. Sashihara-san & Minegishi-san & Yokoyama-san were preparing a special performance. Then Sashihara-san said to me, "Why don't Lemon join in too?". I hastily went to get my Lemon headgear we ended up performing Golden Bomber-san's song together! Takamina-san enjoyed it a lot too so it has become a really wonderful memory for me. Something that is planned by best friends from the same generation, celebrated & joined by so many juniors...Takamina-san is so amazing. I wonder why? Personally, I've never had a birthday party organized for me before. There aren't that many people that I can call 'best friends' as well, perhaps only (Takeuchi) Miyu-chan... Takamina: Kawaei has made her comeback to this theater stage today after 4 & 1/2 months. Please tell everyone about what you're feeling standing on this stage today after all these time. Also a word to the fans. Kawaei: The past 4 & 1/2 months have felt very long. I've kept everyone waiting for me for but, today, I've come back here and there are so many people, it's somehow amazing, somehow very amazing..."

All: (laughs) Takamina: Are you okay? Kawaei: ...I've received such wonderful gifts. The cheers, the eye-contact, the fans are so near. Standing on the theater stage like this, being able to communicate with fans through our eye-contact... Takamina: An exchange of cheers. Kawaei: Hold on for a sec... Takamina: It's alright Kawaei: Being able to have eye-contact like that is very much something that can only be experienced through theater shows. So, even from now onwards, I wish to cherish this place while doing my best 'genki'-ly. Thank you very much for today. Takamina: Thank you everyone for waiting patiently. As Team A members, we are also very happy that Kawaei has come back to us. This stage, this theater, its existence has almost become something of the norm. Myself too, I have been standing on this stage for 9 years. But even so, it is not something that should be taken for granted. Each & every encounter between this stage with its audiences, and what Kawaei has just mentioned, the exchanges of eye-contact and exchanges of cheers, those things are things which are irreplaceable for us. I think they are important keys in order for us to move forward. From now onwards, we will value each & every moment, we will work our hardest while cherishing this theater stage.
