Missin' Tumblr
Had a bit of a tumblr hiatus. Want to start blogging again but not quite sure what I should blog about. Trying to get back on track to a healthy body with marathon training/powersculpt/healthy eating? Throw in a bit of outfit of the day posts? Talk about my want to rescue a dog? Buying a home and not having enough time to put my own personal touches on it? All of the above?

After the guide to regular, personal thank-you notes in this entry, someone asked how business thank-you notes should be different. EXCELLENT QUESTION!
Obviously, the tone of a letter you write to someone who may or may not want to give you a job is different than the tone you use to write to...

Then Senator Obama announcing his candidacy for president in Springfield, IL, on February 2, 2007.
I keep thinking back to the last campaign. To how far we’ve come as a country. To the historic victory of Barack Obama for president. In between the polling data and the mini-freak outs I keep having over Ohio I remember the Yes We Cans. The hope.
It bothers me that in just a few short days it could all be over. We could be staring at the face of President Elect Mitt Romney. It doesn’t make sense that this man, who inspired us all in such a profound way, could somehow be a one term president.
Get it together, America. You will never find a perfect candidate for president but it’s rare to have the opportunity to re-elect someone so genuine. Do the right thing.
