Luke 1:37
My prayer that has been on my heart has been for my three  daughters.  My oldest daughter Anna has been trying to conceive for three years, it has been hard but she has tremendous faith.  I see her pain as most of her friends now are getting pregnant.  Our daughter Holly, who married in December, desperately did not want to conceive, she wants to finish grad school.  Without going into huge detail she cannot use traditional remedies to prevent pregnancy.  She is now 8 weeks pregnant and as a family we are overjoyed with the new life God is gifting!  My heart though, Anna whose name I chose, drawn from the bible.  We studied Luke together last year and she said that the Gospel saved her, she has peace where she is and knows God has a plan.  Luke 1:37 "No word from God will ever fail" (NIV).  The story of Elizabeth in being barren and the gift of Christ to Mary gives my daughter grace and mercy.  Our youngest daughter, who is 16, Claire, bought a pair of baby shoes for the new gran-baby coming, I know it was tender for her to do so knowing the fertility challenges her oldest sister is facing.  As Anna goes through medically to correct some things in order to conceive, be in prayer for my three daughters as we share this journey together.  Holly to have a healthy pregnancy and for Claire who loves deeply for both of her sisters, and for Anna to have healing.
